Chapter 634 Be an Asgardian, Experience the Nordic Life

Malekith was right—his family kept dogs.

It's just that this kind of hunting dog is a wild hunting dog.

These monsters were nearly a meter tall and less than three meters long. Although Peter was certain he was very close to them, he still couldn't make out the faces of any of the mad hounds. He could only make out their general outlines, and Peter couldn't even be sure if they were really dogs.

Their muzzles are shorter than those of wolves, and they do look like some dogs, such as Tibetan mastiffs. However, when their large mouths, which have an indistinct appearance, are opened, their canine teeth are terrifyingly large, seemingly beyond the capacity of their mouths.

They seemed to be firmly attached to a layer of wind, blurring all observation. Peter tried to punch the Wild Hunt that pounced on him, but for some reason, even though his prophecy and predictions indicated that he had already landed a punch on the Wild Hunt, something unexpected happened.

Peter did not cause any harm to the mad hound.

Or perhaps he should have hit them, but for some reason he didn't feel like he hit them. These guys seemed to be in a state of ethereal invisibility, unable to be hit. Then they quickly pounced back. These hounds always appeared suddenly from unexpected angles and disappeared instantly.

"They seem to be able to switch back and forth between storms and physical entities."

Finding himself unable to accurately hit the hounds, Peter gave up thinking and left everything to his body and spider senses. He began to dodge according to the images predicted by his spider senses, and then finally kicked the hound away as it materialized.

But then even more hounds charged in from more cunning angles. The greatest advantage of the raging hounds, which turned into a storm, was their sheer numbers. They launched a continuous barrage of attacks on Peter to buy Malekith time.

"Is your hunting dog really a dog? Or could it actually be some mythical creature that looks like a bat?"

After knocking a Wild Hunt hound away with his claws, Peter looked at Malekith, tried to transform his arm suit into the Iron Spider Armor, and seized the opportunity to fire an energy pulse at the opponent.

The energy pulse struck Malekith, but was immediately blocked by the automatic storm protection.

Malekith then began casting a spell, preparing to give Thor a good beating. But just then, Loki suddenly roared, controlling the body he was absorbing, and yelled at Malekith, "Malekith! Help me! Hurry!"

"..."

Malekith glanced at Thor, then at Loki, and then, with a sudden smile, he approached Loki and cast a spell to make the Wild Hunt storm come into contact with the absorber. In an instant, Loki, who had transformed into a storm, broke free from the nanobots' restraints, touched the giant axe again, and charged towards Spider-Man.

Then, he was struck directly by the raging lightning.

At this moment, a large amount of lightning enveloped the beams of light on the Rainbow Bridge, violently tearing at the black storm above it. Although the battle had only lasted a minute or two, it was enough for Thor to complete his energy charge, fully combining the lightning with his divine power to dispel the storm that had trapped the Rainbow Bridge. He summoned thunder to repel Loki, erected a wall of lightning in front of Malekith, and then shouted at Peter.

"Spider-Man, follow me!"

In an instant, the thunderous roar swept away the black storm on the Rainbow Bridge. Upon seeing this, Peter immediately used a web to stick to Thor's back. Loki was about to rush up to stop him, but Thor had already raised his hammer and soared into the sky. The group watched Thor break through the sky, speechless.

"Damn it!"

Hearing Loki's curses, Malekith wasn't particularly bothered, instead asking, "What's wrong? It's just that Thor escaped." "Just that Thor escaped? With Odin unable to leave Asgard, Thor is the most powerful Asgardian. If we can't kill Thor here, how are we supposed to destroy Asgard?"

Loki's roar was justified, because he really didn't know what to do. In his opinion, even if he, Malekith, Surtur, Laufey, and even Hela were included, they would hardly be a match for Odin, let alone Thor plus Odin.

Moreover, gods like Heldam, Tyr, and Baldr are not nonexistent. They may not be that powerful, but they can still cause considerable trouble.

Malekith just glanced at Loki indifferently.

“We can bring in even more people, such as those greedy Midgards.”

Loki was somewhat dismissive, but then, thinking of all the monsters on Earth, he suddenly realized it might not be such a bad idea. However, he still didn't believe this would defeat Odin, but Malekith remained unhurried, glancing at Loki and speaking indifferently.

"Throughout its long history, Asgard has accumulated too many enemies. Don't worry, we always have enough cannon fodder."

"Really? Can these cannon fodder defeat Odin?"

“What Odin fears does exist, otherwise why would he forge the Destroyer Armor?” Although Malekith himself did not know what Odin feared, he was certain that it was real. If that was the case, why not just go find it?
Loki sighed helplessly. He hadn't expected the leader he'd found to have such a tendency to give up easily. He could only snort coldly before leaving. He had indeed thought of two more plans to increase Malekith's strength, but they would take time.

Of course, considering Odin's situation, time is probably on their side.

Meanwhile, Thor continued to fight his way across the Rainbow Bridge. Malekith was not as indifferent to the matter as he had appeared to Loki. With the help of the Wild Hunt's storm, the Wild Hunt riders and hounds kept rushing into the Rainbow Bridge to try to stop Thor, but Thor knocked them all away with his hammer.

Finally, after Thor landed safely, Peter's stomach was about to burst, and he almost threw up on the Rainbow Bridge. But Thor didn't care and just came up and patted Peter on the shoulder.

"Welcome, Spider-Man. You are the first mortal to arrive in Asgard in hundreds of years."

Peter nodded weakly, then looked up. Before him stood Asgard, far more exaggerated and majestic than any in the MCU movies.

The burly Viking guarding the Rainbow Bridge looked at both of them at the same time.

“Odin is calling you.”

I created a fan art of the Wild Hunt.

After all, Malekith in the original Marvel comics is actually quite... weak.

I fell asleep again while writing yesterday, sorry.
