Chapter 616 The Fall of Atlantis

Atlantis is not the name of a city, but almost all cities in Atlantis are named Atlantis, including the one where Laufey's body was buried.

To prevent Laufey's body from being used, Odin hid it in the city of Atlantis, a place that almost no one would think of, making it both secluded and safe.

In no time, a submersible was destroyed.

Agger waited quietly for the Atlanteans to rise to the surface and vent their anger. Sure enough, a group of Atlanteans soon surfaced.

As lasers continued to sweep across the water, and Agger leisurely sipped his coffee, the blood of the Atlanteans quickly stained the entire sea red. Agger, holding his coffee cup, cheerfully issued orders through his communicator.

The news quickly reached the capital of Atlantis, and Namor was furious upon hearing it: "I will sink those surface people's ships!"

Namor glanced at the merman and calmly said, "General Kron, please prepare the troops. We are about to eliminate the pests."

The general named Kron nodded, went down, glanced back at the palace, and then prepared the army.

Meanwhile, the Atlanteans on Agger's side were not fools. After discovering that two groups of people had lost signal, they went into defensive mode and engaged in a series of ambush battles in the Atlantean city in an attempt to resist the invasion.

They had no idea where these high-tech surface beings came from or what their purpose was in invading their home. But even more terrifying things were yet to come. Specially designed water mines fell into the city of Atlantis, exploding instantly. A violent electric current spread outwards, creating a waterless environment through instantaneous electrolysis of water, before the rapid explosion turned the people of Atlantis into dried fish.

"When Spider-Man was fighting the Hydro-Men of the Elementals in Europe, he used a device to electrolyze water, which was quite interesting. And one of his enemies, the Legion of Demons, used a very special bomb that could instantly raise the temperature to a level that could carbonize a person immediately."

Agger explained to Amora the origin of his weapon against Atlantis: "So, we had someone combine the two and created a special bomb to deal with the Atlanteans."

First, electrolyze the water to create waterless air bubbles, then quickly detonate the secondary bomb, turning the Atlanteans into charred fish. Ager wasn't sure if this tactic would work on the King of the Seven Seas, but fortunately, he soon found out.

The distant waves were overwhelming, and the surrounding sky and earth were covered with dark clouds, as if a terrible typhoon was about to strike.

Agger stood up and watched the distant waves gradually rise. Then, Namor appeared in front of Agger, holding a trident, and asked coldly.

"Surface dweller, are you looking for death?"

“In fact, great Namo, no. This is a misunderstanding, and I am willing to pay sufficient compensation in exchange for your forgiveness.”

Ager immediately stood up in a fluster, as if offering a sincere apology. Namor thought for a moment, then quickly made several very harsh and difficult demands.

But to his surprise, Ager actually agreed. This left Namo somewhat bewildered, but as the saying goes, a king's word is his bond, so he decided not to push Ager too far and let him go back on his own.

So Namor planned to call a retreat, but this time, unexpectedly, his subordinate, the warlord Kron, who had been watching everything, suddenly raised his arm and shouted to the soldiers.

"Namo is not worthy to be our king!"

This sudden and inexplicable declaration of rebellion made Namor laugh in anger. He looked directly at General Kron and said bluntly, "Kron, your stupidity is unbelievable. Look at the soldiers around you. How many of them are willing to follow you..."

Namor didn't finish his sentence because he saw all the soldiers pointing their weapons at him. Namor sensed something was wrong, but the situation didn't allow him much time to think, and he reacted quickly.

Amora regained her strength and spoke with a slight smile, while Agger continued drinking his coffee, as it had nothing to do with him.

As long as the war continues, he will have enough time to exhume Laufey's body.
