Chapter 536 The Kang Dynasty VS The Age of Ultron
Chapter 536 The Kang Dynasty VS The Age of Ultron
Kang sat atop his flagship, quietly awaiting further analysis of the Cosmic Cube.
In the future, due to a certain event, the artificial intelligence program encountered a problem, and their intelligence limit was completely locked. This also resulted in the absence of super artificial intelligence on Earth that could infinitely evolve its own intelligence. In order to analyze the Cosmic Cube, Kang needed an artificial intelligence that could grow to a certain level, continue to evolve infinitely, and then analyze the Cosmic Cube.
Green Goblin AI, Arnim Zola, and Nimrod were all considered for him, but Ultron emerged victorious from all of them. Now, Ultron has connected to Kang's 31 technology database and is growing at an incredible speed. He is then re-entering the program to analyze the Cosmic Cube. As long as Ultron continues to evolve, Kang can use the Cosmic Cube to create a shield, thereby constantly approaching the year 2015 that caused the multiverse collision crisis and seeing what exactly happened.
But not before that.
Kang opened a communication channel and made a video call to his council of lords: Hydra, which controls Central and Western Europe; Doom, which controls Eastern and Southern Europe; Ominous, which controls India; Magneto, which controls Australia; Wakanda, which controls all of sub-Saharan Africa; and Namor, which controls the Atlantic Ocean.
All of these people appeared on the screen. Kang had the Time Stone embedded in the back of his left gauntlet and was holding the Cosmic Cube in his right hand. He looked at these people and then explained his needs: "I expect you have prepared the army I need. I have generously given you almost the entire world. I don't expect you to be unable to do this even well."
“I have prepared an army for you,” Ominous was the first to reply. The rich population of the Indian subcontinent had become an excellent breeding ground for his human experiments, and he had created a large army for Kang there.
“Like Hydra, ready.” Zemo glanced at the Cosmic Cube in Kang’s hand, then looked away. “We can deploy 60 people in the first batch.”
Australia contributed far fewer people. Magneto didn't want to lose any of the less than 20 million mutants in total, and only sent 20,000 to Kang as a last resort. Wakanda planned to provide money, not manpower; vibranium equipment was the only thing they could offer. Although Kang was clearly not satisfied with this, and Namor was even prepared to refuse outright, he shut up after glancing at the Cosmic Cube.
As for Doom...
"The Eurasian Empire will not send any troops."
Doom looked at Kang confidently: "Doom will accompany you, Kang."
Conqueror Kang frowned, looking at his council of lords with dissatisfaction. In truth, Kang, who possessed the Cosmic Cube, didn't need any army. The reason he made this condition was simply because he wanted to see the extent to which these lords, born from his mere whim, would obey him, and whether further modifications to reality were needed to alter, replace, or simply eliminate them.
This is the downside of one-click modification. Although the Cosmic Cube largely completed the modification of reality according to Kang's requirements, many details were not in place. This is not the Cosmic Cube's problem, but Kang's problem. Kang cannot use his brain to arrange everyone on Earth in an instant, or even arrange things for most of the people who need them.
Because time was limited at the time.
Hmm? Why was time limited back then?
For some reason, Kang ignored the problem again.
Then, Kang responded to the group, including rejecting Doom's request. He then took out the Cosmic Cube and began altering reality, modifying those who appeared highly resistant and unmistakably rebellious. Only then did he nod in satisfaction.
At that very moment, Ultron indicated that the further analysis of the Cosmic Cube was complete. Kang picked up the Cosmic Cube with satisfaction and, based on Ultron's data, performed a new round of calculations. In this calculation, he would be 57 days closer to that destined moment.
This was the most significant leap forward in recent times. He opened the portal and stepped inside. Due to its inherent characteristics, the Cosmic Cube could only remain in 2013 as an energy source, powering the portal, and could not be brought over. As the spacetime tunnel expanded, the entire space became distorted. Kang arrived in 2015 before the spacetime structure completely collapsed, to examine that future.
In the future, he saw—a wasteland.
What's going on? Even if we exclude the timeline where they conquered the world, the Avengers shouldn't have been wiped out like this. Did someone invade Earth? Why is there nothing around?
Kang immediately used the Time Stone to insure himself, then flew towards Avengers Tower in the distance, where he also detected some biosignals.
Unfortunately, he was soon stopped.
A ball of fire rapidly approached, but Kang stopped it. He realized that this was the Human Torch from this timeline, meaning that the Fantastic Four were still fighting here, but they still couldn't prevent this place from becoming ruins. The Human Torch crashed into Kang's energy shield without causing a ripple.
But then, a retractable arm, combined with metal, enveloped Kang. Then, a monster with half a face of Reed Richards and half a face of Ultron appeared in front of Kang. Kang looked at the monster without changing his expression and finally understood something.
"So, this is the future that caused the collision of the multiverse? A future where Ultron evolved infinitely and assimilated all of humanity?"
At this point, Kang couldn't help but let out a cold laugh.
"I must be crazy to see an artificial intelligence causing a multiverse collision crisis."
“Perhaps you’re not crazy, Kang.” Reed Richards, half-human and half-Ultron, looked at Kang and suddenly spoke in a cold, electronic voice: “It is thanks to your data and technology that I was able to evolve to this level and create my own Ultron era.”
"And it's also thanks to you that I realized how important the Cosmic Cube you have is."
not good!
In an instant, Kang was transported back to 2013, picked up the Cosmic Cube, but the next second, a large group of bio-Ultron robots tore open the time tunnel and filed in. Kang held his breath, raised the Cosmic Cube, and shouted.
"Avengers! Assemble!"
That's right, I'm paying homage to the 6160 New Ultimate Universe.
