Chapter 523 Peter Parker is Spider-Man? Why would I have such a dream?
Jessica Drew is asleep, or rather, Dr. Jonathan Drew has given her a tranquilizer to ensure she enters a deep sleep.

He hesitated and agonized over what would happen to him and his daughter once the 24 hours were up. Regardless of whether Otto was satisfied with the experiment's results, they probably wouldn't survive. Of course, they had actually made contact with the rebels, but the rebels didn't have the resources or manpower to help them at the moment, so in the end, they would have to solve this problem themselves.

Jessica, however, had no such question while asleep. In fact, her mind was even more active in her sleep; she was constantly thinking and piecing together fragments of the past. For some reason, she was dreaming more and more about Spider-Man.

Furthermore, I was also unconsciously and instinctively reasoning.

So, what are the known facts? First, Spider-Man was very likely on the tour group that went to Europe at the time. Second, Spider-Man probably knew Felicia. Third, although he wasn't a real detective, he had accumulated a lot of relevant knowledge. From their few encounters, he should have been able to figure out Spider-Man's approximate height. Moreover, he knew his father, and his father and Spider-Man collaborated within the framework of Osborn Technology.

She's around 172cm tall, a student on a European tour in Osborne, so she's probably an intern, and she knows Felicia...

Peter Parker is Spider-Man? How could I have such a dream?

Jessica sat up abruptly, almost as if she were dying. Of course, another person who fit this description was Harry Osborn. However, Felicia didn't really think Harry was Spider-Man. Her first conclusion was Peter Parker. She opened her eyes, looked at the ground, and then noticed a problem.

Why am I looking at the ground?

"Oh... um..."

Jessica stared in shock at herself "stuck" to the ceiling, then jumped down, her movements slightly unsteady. Dr. Jonathan, witnessing this, was overjoyed and rushed over to ask his daughter, "Are you alright, Jessica? How are you feeling? Whew, we need to do a blood test..."

Jessica remembered she was in Avengers Tower, and why she was there. She looked at the lab door, somewhat confused, then decided to ignore the question of whether Spider-Man was Peter Parker—a question that would be answered if she survived. Instead, she asked her father strangely, "Shouldn't we be thinking about how to escape?"

"Listen up, Jessica, we can't right now. Wait a minute, I'll draw your blood first..."

Dr. Jonathan first drew blood for tests on Jessica. To be honest, he didn't want Jessica to gain any superpowers at all; he only hoped that her ALS could be cured. Now it seems that the latter has been achieved, but what about the former?

As the person in charge of the actual operation of the Spider-Man base, Dr. Jonathan knows how many enemies Spider-Man has to face and how terrifying they are. Of course, not everyone is Spider-Man, and not everyone needs to fight supervillains non-stop like Peter Parker.

However, Dr. Jonathan still didn't want Jessica to get involved in this kind of thing. There were already enough superheroes and Spider-Man; there was no need for another one.

However, from a medical perspective, Jessica is currently in very good health...

"Dad, look!"

Upon hearing Jessica's reply, Dr. Jonathan turned around, somewhat surprised to see her floating in the air: "I've discovered I can't shoot silk, but I think I can fly! Let's just run away!" "You can't...you can't escape, Jessica."

"At least I can try." Jessica muttered as she walked to the wall and slammed her fist into it, then winced in pain. The Avengers Tower lab was built for Hulk to live a normal life, so the materials used were incredibly strong; a punch had practically no effect.

Just then, the laboratory door opened, and Otto emerged with the Sinister Six. Upon seeing this, Otto was overjoyed: "I'm glad you've recovered, Miss Jessica. I understand your desire to regain your freedom, but I'm sorry, I can't let your father go back until Spider-Man is completely defeated."

“Now, Dr. Jonathan, please step aside. I know what the correct experimental data should look like.” After pushing Dr. Jonathan aside with his mechanical claw, Otto began to analyze the data he had. He exclaimed “unbelievable” several times and then clapped applause in appreciation.

"A very effective design, Dr. Jonathan, it's perfect. You have successfully created the spider serum that your teacher had not yet finished researching. In essence, you have truly completed the Savage Force Project."

"No, each spider needs to be specially adapted to the user's DNA, and each spider's DNA is completely different..."

“I know, Dr. Jonathan. Ever since you injected your daughter with the serum, I’ve re-edited the spiders in your lab. They’re now Otto Octavia’s spiders.”

Doctor Octopus beamed with a radiant smile. Now, he had acquired all the elements to succeed. He was about to gain Spider-Man's power—no, he was about to surpass Spider-Man, surpass the Doctor Octopus of the past.

If he's Spider-Man, then he's the ultimate Spider-Man! If he's also Doctor Octopus, then he's the ultimate Octopus!
"Get some rest, Dr. Jonathan. You have plenty of time to rest. When the new Octavia Industries is established, you may become one of my new employees. For now, you just need to stay here with your daughter."

As Doctor Octopus spoke, he led the entire Sinister Six away. Jonathan sighed helplessly. He might have created an unprecedented enemy for Spider-Man, but there seemed to be nothing he could do.

At the very least, he couldn't bring himself to give up his and his daughter's lives to stop the other side.

However, after curiously walking to the door and looking around, Jessica turned to her father and said, "I've discovered something, Dad."

“Jessica, I can assure you, the Avengers’ security measures are foolproof. You can’t open that door.”

"But it wasn't locked."

Dr. Jonathan looked at Jessica with a puzzled expression.

Chapter Two will be posted later, before 7 PM.
