Chapter 520 Spider-Man's Revival Plan

Chapter 520 Spider-Man's Revival Plan

In the tenth hour since Doctor Octopus announced the takeover of Manhattan, the first wave of warriors from the Earth-based coalition forces set off. The first strike team, composed of Norse Thor, Slavic Pello, Greek Ares, and Hercules, will head to the skies to directly assault Kang the Conqueror's flagship. After establishing a solid foothold, Thor will invoke the Bifrost to teleport the heroes into Kang's flagship.

They concluded that there was only one way to win: a decapitation strike. However, what worries many people is that Kang has not yet declared war or launched an attack, but is waiting for Earth to make the first move.

What is he waiting for?

Meanwhile, in New York, Otto Octavia temporarily left Manhattan and went to Rikers Island, where he met an old friend and had lunch with him.

"To be honest, Octavia, I'm more used to your old look."

Kingpin nonchalantly cut his steak: "Congratulations, you've successfully acquired the entire Manhattan, in name only."

"You think I can't control Manhattan?"

“Actually, you got a useless Manhattan.” Kingpin shrugged. “You think I couldn’t do it? At least before the Battle of New York, I can proudly say that I could have done the same thing as you at any time with my private army and the NYPD, Otto.”

"But what do you get from a Manhattan that has nothing? No normal trade, no normal life, no consumption, no jobs, no power flowing through it... You get a dead city, Otto. You get no power, no money, and no respect, though that is the least important thing."

An isolated city, a dead city—that’s Kingpin’s assessment of Manhattan today.

If he could, he would prefer a vibrant Manhattan, not for any particular reason, but because the game of power could function properly and wealth could circulate freely.

Unfortunately, Otto's Manhattan does not have this situation.

"That's why I've come to ask you for advice."

Kingpin seemed quite surprised.

"So, you plan to occupy Manhattan for good?" Kingpin looked at Doctor Octopus with great interest. "Why? Do you think the Avengers are doomed to lose?"

"Yes, the Avengers are doomed to lose. If they realized what cards Kang the Conqueror held, they wouldn't think they could win."

Kingpin frowned, then looked at Otto and began to think.

As night falls, the Sinister Six may still be fighting, but Spider-Man is no longer active, not even the fake Spider-Man.

To be honest, Cindy was a little surprised. She hadn't expected the fake Spider-Man to be their classmate Eugene Thompson. She didn't know much about Flash, except that he was physically strong and a rising star on the football team.

And he was a fan of Spider-Man, who told him not to bully his classmates, so he really didn't bully anyone, or at least no one saw it.

I imagine the others are the ones who are most devastated. No, Gwendolyn didn't try to hide her identity; hopefully, she won't be exposed.

Cindy returned to the base as she pondered this. It had been relocated once before, but thanks to her ability to sense Peter, she wouldn't get lost. She was grateful to the Punisher for bringing enough flares to help them complete their plan.

Oh, and there's another question: Peter's new symbiote suit.

Almost everyone was present this time, including Black Cat and Silver Sable. Everyone was wearing uniforms, and Lightning was rather dim-witted, so he didn't realize that a significant portion of these people were his classmates. Although he didn't recognize Felicia either.

It's worth mentioning that Spider-Man woke up, and Peter was wearing a brand-new anti-Venom suit, stretching his muscles, and then paused for a moment after seeing Venom.

Venom was also taken aback when it saw the antisymbiote suit on Peter.

"First of all, I have to thank you. Thank you for pretending to be me while I was unconscious. At least it boosted morale and bought me some time."

Lightning scratched his head a little embarrassedly and removed the hood from his suit: "No, no, it's alright, little spider. I'm happy to be of help."

It really was Lightning. Peter, who had a premonition, nodded and looked at Lightning, or rather, the venom on his body: "This suit was created when Mr. Negative was treating me. The symbiote residue in my body combined with his power to create this symbiote suit."

Venom understood instantly.

Is the Anti-Venom Suit a symbiote? Perhaps. It can be connected to the symbiote network, but it differs from a true symbiote. One difference is its fundamental nature. Due to Mr. Negative's intervention, the Anti-Venom Suit is closer to the Beyond Realm than to its corresponding Living Abyss. It even inflicts instant-death damage on almost all symbiotes.

On the other hand, it has no consciousness of its own; Anti-Venom is really just a symbiote suit.

"So... oh, here you go with this suit..."

"Perhaps not."

Venom, in a rare self-reflection, said after taking over Lightning's body: "Being with him might be of greater help."

Are you sure, buddy?

"yes, I'm sure."

Peter looked at the Venom for a few seconds, nodded, and then began to explain his plan: "According to our contact with Dr. Jonathan Drew, Otto's experiment will take place around 2 p.m. tomorrow, at which time Dr. Jonathan will inject his daughter Jessica with spider serum."

Otto will then receive these reports, adjust the serum's composition, inject himself, and complete the final step of enhancement.

"So, in order to avoid interference from the enemy as much as possible, it would be best if we conducted the experiment together with the enemy to awaken my superpowers. But I need electricity, a lot of electricity."

The Electro people currently control all of Manhattan's electricity, so just in case, they need to obtain power from them. And coincidentally, there is indeed a piece of equipment capable of stealing power from the Electro people.

"When that time comes, we'll need you, Lightning. We'll need you to get the Electro's power and start the machine."

Lightning was quite excited, because he was currently the only one capable of this task. Peter looked at Lightning, slightly worried, and said excitedly, "We're counting on you, Thompson."
