I'm working on Marvel's Spider-Man in American comics.
Chapter 503 Spider-Man: Year 1
Chapter 503 Spider-Man: Year One (3)
The Spider Squad had a very serious discussion about the threat posed by the Sinister Six.
Then go do whatever you need to do.
What else? Otto and his team are nowhere to be seen, and we don't even know where they're hiding. Peter tried to use prophetic magic to find Otto's location, but unfortunately, his skills were not good enough, and he still couldn't find him.
Moreover, speaking of magic, he still needs to go to Paris to repair the spatial rift he tore open. The rift was so big that Strange has been working overtime lately, while giving him a very impolite look.
Peter expressed his helplessness.
Incidentally, he needs to think about what to do during the summer vacation.
"So, you mean the Fantastic Four are planning to make you their babysitter?" Gwen was shocked when she heard Peter say this, and after looking him up and down curiously, she asked, "Can you take care of children?"
“No, especially considering their daughter Valeria is only a little over a year old and Franklin isn’t even four yet, I think this might not be a good job.” Gwen complained seriously, “Can’t they find anyone else? They actually want a high school student to babysit their children?”
Peter shrugged. The reason the Fantastic Four found Peter was largely because he was too obsessed with saving the world. They wanted to give Peter something to do. Besides, Franklin and Valea weren't ordinary kids; a normal nanny would probably be driven crazy by them.
Meanwhile, Ms. Su, the "invisible woman," felt that entrusting the child to Doom in case of any problems was an absurd move, so she suggested finding a more reliable person to help.
"Actually, I think it's fine. It might even be quite interesting. I've heard that the two Richards kids are very smart and should be easier to take care of than the average child."
Peter didn't explain another reason: it's unknown whether Franklin's abilities have awakened yet. If they haven't, everything is fine. If they have, then Franklin's abilities are a very good means to deal with the Cosmic Cube in Kang's hands.
Although Kovacs' arrival itself proved that the Avengers had successfully defeated Kang, the events of Reverse Future showed that the future could be changed, so Peter had to think twice.
“Peter? Hey! Peter!”
Gwen waved her hand in front of Peter's face, which snapped him out of his daze. He then looked at Gwen with a helpless expression and asked, "What are you doing now? Thinking about saving the world?"
"Well, that's about right."
"My God... Can't you think about other things for a moment? The world doesn't need you to save it every day. For example, haven't you been quite free these past couple of days?"
Peter then nodded, unsure of what he should do; perhaps, maybe, just maybe…
Do I need to take a break?
Gwen rolled her eyes at him.
"I have serious doubts about your current state. What exactly do you mean by this so-called holiday?"
-
"To be honest, I've almost forgotten how fun it was to simply swing on spider webs in New York!"
Gwen was right. Peter had no plans for a vacation. He quickly found his own way to relax: happily swinging on his webs in the New York sky.
Be a happy little spider.
"The Superpowered Criminal Classification Act? That act sounds great, but it can only register criminals who have already committed crimes and have been caught!" Jonah Jameson roared as always, as if he could see Peter swinging past him, and he couldn't help but spew his anger.
"What about those guys who weren't caught?! What are we supposed to do with masked vigilantes like Spider-Man who have absolutely no sense of responsibility?"
"I absolutely will not agree to such a hollow bill! This is self-deception! This is a whitewash! It's meaningless! Unless that damned reptile dares to take off its mask and appear openly before me!"
"Sorry, Jonah, that's a really far-fetched idea." Peter stuck a strand of spider silk onto Jonah Jameson's face on the big screen, then swooped down towards the street below, feeling the purest wind pressure. There seemed to be some trouble below; several police cars were chasing a large truck.
The criminals inside the truck were speeding along when suddenly an unusual sound came from the roof. One of them poked his head out with a gun, then was pulled out and thrown out, where he was stuck to the wall in cobwebs.
"Hello, can you tell me what happened?"
Spider-Man climbed into the passenger seat, asking the driver questions as he fastened his seatbelt. The driver paused for a moment, then quickly drew his gun.
“You need to know, I haven’t seen you ordinary criminals on the streets of New York for a long time, not because you don’t exist, but because I’ve become an Avenger. I’ve been quite busy lately, haven’t I?”
The driver aimed at Peter and fired quickly, but before he could fire, Peter pressed down on the pistol and disassembled it completely, then tossed the barrel parts aside and continued talking.
"To be honest, looking back now, I really think you guys were quite adorable. I actually miss the days before I was an Avenger. At least being Spider-Man back then was easy and fun..."
Peter continued rambling on, while the criminal, after turning a corner, unbuckled his seatbelt and turned to grab his assault rifle. However, Peter first used a spider web to hook the gun, pulled it over, threw it onto the roof of the car, and then covered it with a spider web.
"But then again, sometimes I wonder if you guys are thinking about me too. Sometimes I think I'm pretty good, I tell jokes to everyone, I tell a lot of people that what you're doing is wrong, and you should find a good job."
The other man simply pulled out a submachine gun from under the passenger seat in front of Peter, pointed it at Peter, and Peter easily snatched it away, removed the magazine, and handed him an empty gun.
The other side is going crazy.
Spider-Man, what do you need a dick for?!
"So... um, can you tell me if you missed me while I was away from New York dealing with you guys these past few months?"
"I miss your mother my ass!"
A few minutes later.
The truck was simply parked on the side of the road, the criminal was covered in the cargo bed, and there were a few words written in spider silk next to it.
"This reminds me of six months ago, sir, when that Spider-Man first debuted."
The detectives looked at the carriage and the criminals, then looked at Sheriff Stacy, who nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, maybe Spider-Man had it easier back then."
