Chapter 498 Reversing the Future?

Ninglu had no more schemes or plans.

Everything was planned perfectly. On Earth-616, Nimrod created a false impression for everyone, making them believe they had plenty of time. This created a time difference and information gap, allowing him to eliminate the X-Men and Genosha, thus guiding the history of Earth-616 toward Earth-811. Ultimately, the attempt to reverse the future failed, the two universes merged, and Earth-811 became the future of Earth-616.

But none of this happened.

On Earth 616, due to a lack of information about Spider-Man and the Avengers' timely development of the Ultron console to counter Nimrod, they were at a disadvantage.

Most importantly, Nimrod's manufacturing plant has been destroyed! This means it's now impossible to create more Nimrod Sentinels to fight them, and the Nimrod mutants of 2059, with grim faces, began mass-producing more Sentinel robots of other models from 2059 to enter the battlefield.

These guys are just cannon fodder at best, but they can buy time for 2059 Ninglu, who has more important things to do.

This is something that even Spider-Man on Earth 811 is unaware of for the time being.

However, Peter Parker of Earth-811 immediately realized what Nimrod was up to. Based on the information he had seen before, he was very certain that the target was the incomplete Nimrod mutant who was still inside the mother mold.

At this very moment, Nimrod from the future arrived at the core of the Mother Model. Here, there existed an infant, created using the 2029 Nimrod program within the Mother Model's Sentinel factory, combined with mutant DNA. It possessed the dual characteristics of both mutants and Sentinels. Nanometals fused into its body, and it emitted a naturally innocent infant smile. The Mother Model's Sentinel program issued a warning: this infant was still extremely fragile; the various X-genes would require over a decade to fully integrate, and promethium had not yet been injected. But Nimrod was not going to wait. The Nimrod program of this era had collapsed; the only copy existed within this infant.

Even more terrifying is that with Nimrod's complete annihilation, the two timelines of 2059 and 2029 will be completely severed, just like Earth 616 and Earth 811. He will then lose the ability to replace all mutants in all worlds with Nimrod in this way.

The entire mother model sentinel suddenly rose from the ground. Future Ninglu stared in astonishment as Apocalypse pulled the giant Ninglu sentinel out of the ground like a radish. In front of him was the War Soul Divine Sword from Leopardon. Ninglu started the program. He didn't know if he would make it in time, but at this moment he couldn't care less.

The next second, Ninglu appeared behind Tianqi and tried to touch him, but his arm was cut off by the magkian's sword. She had also accepted Tianqi's power and was able to harm Ninglu.

With the explosion of the aerial mother-model sentinel, the baby's brainwaves and vital signs completely disappeared. Ninglu, enraged, glared at the large group of Spider-Men and the remaining resistance fighters, letting out a final roar: "What have you all done?"

"Huh? Save the world?"

After Spider-Man from some unknown world added a comment, the others echoed him. Then, they all nodded in agreement. Future Nimrod took a deep breath, summoned the remaining dozen or so Nimrods, and prepared to launch a desperate last stand.

“At this point, you basically have no chance of winning.” Tianqi picked up his axe and looked at Ninglu in front of him: “It’s a pity that if you weren’t so arrogant, you might have been able to fight me for a long time, but you don’t have that chance anymore.”

"My Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, utterly destroy him!"

About an hour later, Professor Xavier of Earth 811 was completely unable to contact Katie of Earth 616 again. The two timelines were completely separated, and Earth 616 completely avoided the possibility of going to the future.

A dazzling meteor streaked across the sky and crashed into a wheat field on a farm. The farmer and his wife came into the field and saw the meteorite that had crashed down. But it wasn't a meteorite; it looked more like an... egg.

The metal sphere unfolded, revealing an innocent and adorable baby inside, staring at them with a silly grin.

“Look, this is a child. We just prayed to God, and he gave us a child.”

"Like Superman," the farmer muttered, putting away his shotgun and looking at the child. For some reason, when the child opened his eyes, he felt a sense of... peace?
“We should adopt this child, Rose,” the rancher asked his wife. “We need to give him a name, a name as great as… Clark Kent.”

"How is Sebastian?" the wife asked. "Sebastian Gilberty?"

The husband nodded: "That would be a good name."
