I'm working on Marvel's Spider-Man in American comics.

Chapter 489 You'd better shut up.

Chapter 489 You'd better shut up.
To Peter's surprise, after he told Cyclops his thoughts over the phone, Principal Scott Summers on the other end of the line couldn't help but let out a long sigh.

“I’m sorry, Spider-Man, but in my opinion, your problem has nothing to do with the school.” Cyclops stood by the window of the principal’s office, watching the children playing happily inside the academy, and remarked, “Even inside the academy, mutant students never need to think about fighting. We do have two student teams, but they are never the main force in combat, and we don’t put our children in dangerous places.”

"Therefore, the academy can't teach you how to balance saving the world and life, because we don't save the world every day."

Cyclops succinctly declined Peter's offer to "study abroad" at the academy. If Peter Parker felt he needed to relax, he could come to the school and hang out with the mutant students. However, he was currently experiencing some post-traumatic stress disorder, spending all his time thinking about saving the world.

How did such a good child turn out like this?
It’s really puzzling.

After letting out a helpless sigh, Laser Eyes offered Peter some advice: "Your current situation has nothing to do with your living environment; it's entirely a psychological problem. If you don't mind, you can come to the school and have Emma give you some psychological counseling."

"No, I think it's unnecessary, thank you."

Peter quickly declined Laser Eyes' offer and hung up the phone. After a long silence, he sighed helplessly and began to ponder whether he really had a psychological problem.

Half an hour later, at the top of the Baxter Building, in the experimental area.

Since neither the Avengers nor the X-Men could help him with this problem, Peter finally had to turn to the Fantastic Four for help. In his opinion, the Fantastic Four were probably the best heroes in this regard. They saved the world and protected their own lives. They were a group of free explorers who had a good balance between life and adventure.

Perhaps by being with them, I can figure out how to avoid this kind of interference.

"So, you feel really bad about not being able to save the world anymore." Johnny Thunder, while watching his brother-in-law twist himself into a pretzel and run around the lab, looked at Peter sighing beside him and asked while eating potato chips, "It's like you've lost your sense of existence, you're not interested in anything, and... it seems like no one can help you."

"Yes."

“It doesn’t sound like a particularly troublesome thing.” Thunderbolt’s words surprised Peter, and then he heard Thunderbolt’s explosive statement: “Do you have a girlfriend? I was going to say you might be a little young, but it doesn’t matter. If you have a girlfriend, you probably won’t have much time to worry about this.”

"I'm not... very sure."

"What's uncertain? You're not even sure if you have a girlfriend? Yes or no?"

"or?"

Johnny paused for a few seconds before realizing what he meant: "Oh, so... more than one girl likes you, so you haven't accepted any of their confessions? You can have a girlfriend anytime you want."

"Yes?"

"Then why don't you accept them all?"

A question mark appeared above Peter's head: "Huh?" "The reason you're unwilling to accept is because you're worried that if you accept one girl, the other girl will be heartbroken, isn't that right?" Johnny looked at Peter and continued, "Then wouldn't it be solved if you both accepted?"

"Huh? Is this...right?"

“Yes, yes, I’ll prove to you from my own experience that if you can win over multiple girls at the same time, you can have many girlfriends without hurting them.” Thunderbolt looked confident: “And even if you fail, their first reaction won’t be sadness, but rather they’ll be furious and beat you up. You’re not afraid of being beaten to death.”

Peter hesitated, feeling that something was wrong, yet also feeling that there was nothing wrong at all.

"How about it? If you want to learn, I can teach you... Waaaaah!"

Johnny suddenly couldn't speak, as if his mouth had been covered. The Invisible Woman, who came out carrying her youngest daughter, said helplessly, "Sorry, Peter, you'd better not listen to Johnny's nonsense. He doesn't have many girlfriends he can have long-term relationships with. By the way, is there something you need?"

After listening to Peter's troubles, the Invisible Woman nodded: "I'm sorry, I don't think either Johnny or Reed can help you. Let's not talk about Johnny for now, I'm too busy taking care of two kids to have time to worry about this. As for Reed, he's in a worse state than you. His fervent pursuit of science is even more intense than your pursuit of saving the world. What's worse, he doesn't think he has any problems at all."

What else could Peter say? He couldn't say anything.

“So…you might be able to look for Ben?” After saying that, the Invisible Woman gave another answer: “Of course, if you really don’t know what to do, you can help me take care of Franklin. Taking care of this child is basically equivalent to saving the world every day.”

After ruling out everyone else, the Invisible Woman gave the only answer. Peter scratched his head and could only say "Okay" before going to find Benjamin Grimm. It's quite interesting, really; the Thing is kind of Franklin's Uncle Ben.

So Peter found Uncle Ben, who was watching a baseball game. The Stone Man was a little surprised to see Peter. After letting him sit down next to him and listening to his story, the Stone Man relaxed his non-existent brow, nodded, and then took the popcorn from the table and handed it to Peter.

“You and I look a lot like when I first became like this, child.”

"Uh, what did you say?"

“I’m the Thing, I’m one of the Fantastic Four, and I’m always on ‘Beat Time’. So where’s Benjamin Grimm?” The Thing looked at Peter and said his opinion: “See? He’s gone.”

“You haven’t become like me, but it’s like you’ve been wearing that Spider-Man mask on your face forever.” The Thing grabbed a handful of popcorn from the popcorn bucket and stuffed it into his mouth. “You should look in the mirror and ask the person in the mirror where that person went.”

“You’re not Batman, you’re not going to leave Bruce Wayne in Crime Alley forever. Go, go find yourself.”

Chapter Two will be released later, around 7 PM.
