Chapter 477 Multiverse Chase
In a universe known as "The Amazing Spider-Man," Peter Parker is the only Spider-Man. The 18-year-old high school graduate stopped the Lizard Man's attempt to spread a virus using Lizard Serum to infect the entire city a few years ago. Today, with the help of his lover Gwen, he once again saves New York City. Together, they have just stopped Electro from destroying the entire city and defeated him.

But just when they thought it was all over, Peter's childhood friend, Harry Osborn, who was suffering from a genetic disease, injected himself with the Green Goblin serum and became the Green Goblin, vowing revenge on Spider-Man for making him lose hope. Thus, Spider-Man and the Green Goblin had a final battle in the dilapidated clock tower.

Gwen, who hadn't managed to evacuate in time, was caught in the chaos. Eventually, the platform at the top of the clock tower collapsed. The Amazing Spider-Man attempted to rescue Gwen despite Green Goblin's interference, but faced numerous difficulties. In the end, he chose to fire webs at Gwen as she fell downwards, hoping to save her in time.

But he failed, as something unexpected knocked him aside. As Gwen fell, she watched a giant gear fly by, and then her lover disappeared, seemingly understanding her fate.

But the next second, Spider-Man leaped down from the sky, grabbed Gwen, and then fired webs at the ground, creating a trampoline-like buffer zone. He immediately put Gwen down and then quickly jumped into the air. Gwen, somewhat dazed, crawled up from the webs on the ground, looking at Spider-Man who had already disappeared.

The uniforms don't seem to be the same?
The uniforms are different, of course, because the Spider-Man who saved this Cosmic Gwen is our protagonist Peter. He quickly jumped up and kicked Moron, who had already grabbed the Extraordinary Bug by the neck, sending him flying. Then he helped the Extraordinary Bug, who had lost a small portion of his life force but was unharmed, to his feet.

"I don't have time to chat with you. I've rescued your girlfriend. Other Spider-Men will come to explain what happened to you later. Hurry up and catch the Green Goblin. I have to go to other universes to rescue other Spider-Men. Goodbye."

The Amazing Spider-Man, who had just been helped up, coughed twice. Before he could even process what had just happened, he saw another Spider-Man wave his hand and disappear. Then, a portal opened, and a female Spider-Man in a white suit walked out of the polygonal portal.

"Um, from Earth 120703... wait a minute, you're Peter Parker, right?"

Upon hearing this voice, the superhuman insect stared at Spider-Woman in shock: "Gwen?"

“Great, another Peter Parker. I hate this orientation job.” Gwen muttered, tossing a watch over him. “Arrest the bastard you’re fighting, and tell your girlfriend something. We’re heading to headquarters. Your girlfriend is Gwen Stacy, right?”

With the help of the Web Weaver he captured, the Successor can use the Web of Fate to travel between the multiverses. Peter can also use the Web of Fate to move back and forth. Moreover, he can sense the vibrations of the Web of Fate. As long as the universe where Moron is located is close enough to him, he can go there directly.

Even so, Peter couldn't guarantee that he could save the local Spider-Man every time. After all, he was chasing the Spider-Man, but he was getting closer and closer to Moron. Almost every time Moron attacked the local Spider-Man, he could only take a small breath and would be interrupted by Peter before he could kill them.

Molen was well aware of what would happen to him if the spatial tear occurred, so he tried his best to avoid Peter. However, Peter felt that the latter was more likely to just see it as an interesting hunt.

Because the bodies of the Heirs are mass-produced clones, even if they die in battle, as long as the cloning factory is not destroyed, the Heirs will not completely perish. Moreover, their consciousness and all their memories are not stored in their cloned bodies, but in a crystal, meaning that magic cannot stop their regeneration.

Although Peter was somewhat confused—whether this was the creation of a clone with identical memories and abilities, or proof that they were merely remotely controlling their own clones—none of that mattered anymore. In a future New York, after Peter once again stopped Moron from attacking one of Miguel's counterparts, the two continued their fierce fight. Moron's injuries had almost healed by this time, and he and Peter chased each other back and forth. Then, Moron leaped into the air, opening a portal to other multiverses.

Peter immediately followed. The two of them were just in New York in 2099, and the next moment they appeared in the sky above some distant past. There were no cities in sight, only ancient primitive villages.

In mid-air, Moron drew a sword from the void and slashed at Peter. Peter used his spider-sense to dodge, then used spider silk to stick to the ground below, pulled hard, and fell to the ground, stepping on Moron.

Molen crashed heavily to the ground, but at the same time, the world around them collapsed like a mirror, and the two found themselves in a New York City that looked like it had become a plant world. Just as Peter stood up, the plants around him suddenly moved. Moreover, although the moving plants were huge, they had human-like outlines.

This universe is filled with plant-like beings, or rather, humanoid beings. They are a group of terrifying monsters whose bodies are covered with vines, and Peter sees fragments of the costumes of many superheroes, including Spider-Man, on these crawling humanoid beings.

It seems that this universe is either originally a humanoid universe, or it has been infected with some kind of humanoid plague, with the latter being more likely.

"Looks like you'll have to eat vegetarian food here, Morlen."

“Who wants to stay in this godforsaken place?” Morren said, standing up and immediately trying to run away. This time, Peter didn’t let him escape on his own. Instead, Peter rushed towards him, opened the door first, and chose the next universe first, preventing Morren from harming the new Spider-Man.

As a result, the two of them opening the door at the same time triggered some changes, and the next second, they arrived in a completely new universe, which, of course, was still in New York.

Peter smelled a strong stench of blood, and the surroundings were lifeless. Undoubtedly, this was no friendly place. Morlen, however, smiled and got to his feet.

He has almost fully recovered, and he sensed the spider totem of this universe nearby.
