Chapter 453 First Battle Against the Perilous Six-Man Group

Doctor Octopus's selection of the Sinister Six was undoubtedly based on his own reasons and standards.

Electro not only has the highest stats in the team when fully charged, but he can also absorb electrical energy over a wide area. Spider-Man's wall-climbing and electric discharge abilities come from bioelectricity, so having Electro around means Spider-Man loses all his bioelectric abilities.

The scorpion, though not strong, possesses unique advantages. Because scorpions naturally feed on spiders, their presence can suppress Spider-Man's spider-sense to some extent.

The same principle applies to Sandman. Sandman's greatest advantage is his ability to turn into sand, thus physically locking Spider-Man in place and preventing him from escaping. Once Sandman has Spider-Man trapped, Spider-Man is doomed.

With Doctor Octopus as the team leader, a Sinister Six was formed specifically to deal with Spider-Man. Doctor Octopus, Electro, Scorpion, Rhino, Mysterio, and Sandman formed the Sinister Six to fight Spider-Man.

Individually, they might not be able to defeat Spider-Man, but by working together, they could weaken his power to the greatest extent possible, thus defeating him completely.

Up until now, the plan had been flawless, with every step perfectly aligned. Yet, despite this initial attack, they still failed to severely injure Spider-Man.

However, in Peter's eyes, these six people were quite different. First, regarding Electro and Scorpion, Peter considered them pure villains. Peter continued to dodge the guys' attacks. Although they did limit Peter's power in various ways, Otto saw further ahead and realized that even so, it was still not enough for them to defeat a Spider-Man.

Spider-Man only needs one spell to cover his body with a runic shield that sand cannot penetrate. Another spell is enough for him to see through Mysterio's illusions.

Not only that, the Sandman immediately let out a painful howl. While dodging the scorpion's attacks, Peter joked, "You know, Fortling, you're a mercenary working for Hydra. Do you really think you won't be in shackles until you perform well?"
