I'm working on Marvel's Spider-Man in American comics.
Chapter 433 All Out at Once
Chapter 433 All Out at Once (Part 2)
Just as the Wild Bunch soldiers arrived one after another, Hulk launched an attack on his enemies—since Thor went to protect Iron Man and the others, naturally, the giant Hydra robot became his toy.
Peter, however, quickly left due to the call of the spider-sense, and the entire battlefield dispersed in an orderly manner, with everyone going about their own business.
For example, Logan was tracking Strucker and Captain America's movements by scent. He kept following them and felt they were getting closer and closer. After all, the two were definitely fighting, so their movement speed wouldn't be very fast. As for whether they would be fighting in the car, Logan knew Captain America as he did, he didn't think so.
But he didn't expect that he would be facing a completely new enemy.
"Ha, an ominous sign. I don't even know if it's surprising to meet you here."
"Don't say that, Logan. I'm still looking forward to your surprise." The one who appeared in front of Logan again was Mr. Ominous, or rather, another of his clones: "You know, a long time ago, your genes were an important part of the Weapon X program, but unfortunately, your genes were damaged, so I have been searching for you."
"Ha, can't you find someone else?"
“I looked for a lot of people, such as Deadpool who had your healing factor transplanted back then, your son Daken, or your old nemesis Sabretooth. But unfortunately, none of them are as genetically stable as yours. Later, I thought about what I was missing—and now I understand.”
The ominous sign stopped halfway through its sentence, but Logan remained alert to his surroundings. The scents around him told him that there was another person nearby, and that person might be the one the ominous sign was preparing to kill.
"On another note, do you know about the Red House? Most of their research is quite boring, like tracking chips and implanting false memories. But there's one thing that works really well—they developed a spray that, when combined with the program for implanting false memories, can create soldiers who are absolutely obedient to orders."
As he spoke, Ominous Sign shook the bottle in his hand, then opened it, and a cloud of red smoke drifted around. Then, Ominous Sign pushed a little girl who looked only eleven or twelve years old out from behind him, put his hand on her shoulder, and smiled at Logan.
“Logan, the reason my experiment failed is because I underestimated your potential. Your healing factor far exceeded my imagination. It was the adamantium that suppressed your healing factor—so now I have a new Wolverine, without adamantium implanted all over his body, only his claws.”
As the ominous sign spoke, it patted the little girl's face. The little girl was wearing windproof goggles, and her face was covered by a mask like the Winter Soldier's. She stood in front of Logan, and under Logan's gaze, which seemed to have guessed but dared not admit it, two steel claws extended from the back of her hand.
"Destroy him, X-23. That's your mission. A child always has to break free from his father's shadow, doesn't he?"
Just as Logan encountered his "daughter" X-23, whom he had never met before, Peter followed the echo of his spider-sense to a place where he saw Cindy fighting against Hydra soldiers. He immediately went to help, and the two of them quickly cleared the place out of the way.
"Did you feel it too?"
"It's magic."
Cindy's answer surprised Peter, who looked at her in astonishment: "What?"
"The source that's calling us is related to magic, magic, gods, something like that... I can't explain it." Cindy didn't know how she sensed it, but her spider-sense seemed to have some strange effects. The two cautiously entered the building before them, which appeared to be a warehouse, filled with many things. Peter and Cindy's spider-sense never stopped from beginning to end.
They stopped in front of something.
It was an ancient, golden totem pole, with a spider carved on it. Peter felt it looked familiar, then it dawned on him: this looked like the idol that gave Spider-Man his powers!
In some parallel universes, Peter Parker lives during the Great Depression on the eve of World War II. He is bitten by a spider from a European spider god statue and subsequently dreams about the spider god. He then becomes Spider-Man in that universe.
Peter originally thought this thing shouldn't exist in Universe 616, but he didn't expect it to actually exist!
Wait a minute, doesn't that mean Hydra also has spiders...?
"Ah, Spider-Man, Spider-Web Agent, welcome, welcome." An unfamiliar voice appeared around the two, showing Peter and Cindy the totem: "You can feel very strong energy from that, right? I heard that spider-powered people can sense it. If it weren't for this thing, perhaps Richard Parker wouldn't have discovered our whereabouts, and we wouldn't have been exposed."
"Is Richard Parker a Spider-Sensor?"
"No, but one of his companions was a decadent man. We're all looking for him now, but unfortunately, we don't know who he is."
At this point, the voice seemed to remember something: "Ah, let me introduce myself. I am the global artificial intelligence of the entire Hydra, Arnim Zola. Perhaps you have heard of my name, or perhaps you haven't, but that doesn't matter."
"In fact, weapons expansion programs are all based on existing precedents and then developed through research. For example, the Savage Force program: back in the 1950s, we received intelligence that a woman possessed spider-like abilities. We immediately located her and spent a large sum of money to buy the totem from her."
"This totem has a very special effect. If you keep an Italian Taranto tarantula inside, this spider can bite other people and give them the opportunity to gain spider abilities. Of course, most people will die from a non-existent disease called Taranto tarantula disease."
This is why, for decades, Hydra has not had a single successful spider-type user.
So they took a different approach and chose to replicate these results scientifically. The final result, naturally, was Richard Parker and the genetically modified spiders he studied.
Now, this thing is basically useless, but it still has one very useful function.
"That means no matter where the spider-powered individuals are or what they are doing, they will almost never reject such energy fluctuations and will actively come looking for them. Moreover, this thing can interfere with your spider senses, at least making your heads keep ringing, making you think it's this thing that's the problem, and ignoring the bombs here."
Anim Zola smiled and pressed the detonation button.
Goodbye, Spider-Man.
I'll finish this morning's update at 5 AM, and tomorrow too; I'll make up for yesterday's missed update over two days.
