Chapter 366 Arresting a Green Goblin (Seeking Monthly Tickets)
"Let's congratulate Spider-Man! He killed the last goblin! Wow, Spider-Man has once again protected all of New York City! Congratulations!"

Ignoring the staff's attempts to stop him, Steve Rogers stormed into Barton Hamilton's psychiatric clinic. Several nurses rushed to stop this man who had neither an arrest warrant nor law enforcement authorization, but who exuded an aura of authority just by standing there.

Rogers walked very politely to the door of Hamilton's office, and nodded politely to the several female nurses who surrounded him: "Excuse me, ladies, but I would like to speak with Dr. Hamilton."

"But Dr. Hamilton said he was receiving a very important guest."

"Did you see who the guests are?"

The captain questioned the women, who shook their heads as if they didn't know. Then Steve nodded and kicked open the door to Hamilton's office.

Inside the room, where warm-toned wallpaper created a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, there were no patients in sight, only a green goblin with green skin, sharp teeth, and pointed ears, acting crazy into the computer microphone.

The nurses who witnessed this scene scattered and fled, while Hamilton, who was speaking on television, gave an exaggerated, comical smile before cutting off the signal before leaving behind his last words.

"Well then, let's continue our game next week!"

“I’m not surprised at all.” The captain said as he walked into the room. Hamilton Green Goblin grinned and pulled a pumpkin bomb from under the table, then threw it at the captain. The captain swung his shield, slicing the pumpkin bomb in mid-air, and the bomb detonated in mid-air.

Hamilton immediately jumped over, passing through the flames, first smashing the returning shield aside, and then punching the captain.

"You old relic from World War II, do you still think you're some kind of cutting-edge technological marvel in the world?"

And facts have proven—

"It's clear you're relying entirely on brute force." Without a shield, the captain landed three quick punches on the opponent's face, but Green Goblin remained unharmed and continued to pounce. The captain then crashed into Green Goblin's arms, knocking him back a few steps, before kicking him in the neck.

Hamilton maintained his smile, his neck remaining perfectly still.

"Hahahaha! A relic of the past, thinking he can lecture others? You—Oh!"

The captain punched him in the nose.

Without the exoskeleton armor, the Green Goblin is obviously much weaker. The opponent has a significant advantage in reaction speed, strength, and reflexes. However, Hamilton will not be the Green Goblin for more than a month. There are some things that cannot be made up for in a month, and that is combat experience.

The captain drew a dagger and a pistol from his belt and assumed a fighting stance. This was his standard equipment; no one said Captain America could only carry a shield.

"You think you can defeat me with just a pistol and a knife?"

Steve Rogers smiled slightly: "Let's give it a try."

The nurses and doctors hiding outside crouched under desks or behind walls. No one guessed that their boss was the terrifying Fairy King. They were all waiting for Captain America to arrest him.

Then, they saw the concrete wall that had been smashed through, and Captain America flying out and crashing into another wall. Captain America, glancing at the broken dagger in his hand, raised his pistol and fired repeatedly at Green Goblin. Several wounds appeared on Green Goblin's body, from which flowed green blood tinged with gamma radiation. Seeing Captain America stand up, he roared and hurled a nearby desk at him.

The captain nimbly rolled away, dodging the attack and firing at Green Goblin's knee. However, Green Goblin seemed to have enhanced knees as well; even the 9mm pistol couldn't penetrate them. After firing a magazine, he picked up his pistol and the broken knife and walked towards Green Goblin. "Look at you, a washed-up old codger, thinking you can still do something," Green Goblin chuckled as he approached, punching the captain. "Without that shield, what can you do?"

"The movements were too exaggerated!"

Bending down and dodging Green Goblin's punch, Captain America returned to Green Goblin's front and punched him in the chin. He then continued to "instruct" Green Goblin while throwing punches at him, landing several more punches on Green Goblin's face.

"Your eyes are too obvious; anyone can see how you're going to make your move!"

Several punches in quick succession caused Green Goblin's nose to bleed profusely. Then, Captain America blocked two more punches coming from the front and back with his left and right hands, respectively, and headbutted Green Goblin on the forehead. Taking advantage of Green Goblin's dazed state as he staggered backward, Captain America kicked Green Goblin in the knee where he had just shot him, causing Green Goblin to kneel on the ground. Then, he delivered a high kick to Green Goblin's temple.

The latter swayed and fell to the ground.

Finally, a World War II veteran offered a sharp critique of the new-era super soldiers on the ground.

"And remember not to use only your fists, head, legs, and even teeth as weapons."

Steve Rogers stood with his hands on his hips, panting heavily, looking at the Green Goblin lying on the ground. He shook his head helplessly and uttered a sigh.

"I really miss the days when I was a product of the pinnacle of human technology."

“I must say you sound pretty disheveled over the radio, Captain.”

Tony's teasing voice came through the headset, followed by a curious question: "Wait, I remember you weren't wearing a helmet, were you? What happened to our opponents tells us that we should all wear helmets next time, after all, even Captain America's forehead isn't bulletproof."

Then Tony got down to business.

"So, is our psychiatrist Hamilton the King of the Fairies?"

"That fairy king who spoke on TV was indeed him, but does he have someone backing him? I don't know, and I hope he doesn't."

Just as the captain finished speaking, bad news came from Tony's side: "Wait, the micro-robot you brought also found a bomb inside his body. It seems he was just a disguise. We have to keep searching."

"Then I'll bring him back. How about Spider-Man?"

"Not bad. The symbiote was injured, and I have a few burns on my fists. Oh, and I also caught Roderick Kingsley."

In an instant, the captain made the most appropriate arrangement: "Invite Emma Foster of the X-Men to Avengers Tower. Hamilton knows quite a lot, and we need to dig some out of his head."

To make up for the two chapters I missed the day before yesterday, there are four chapters left today.

Sigh, I've been knocked off the monthly vote rankings. It sounds strange, but I'll still ask for some votes at the beginning of the month.
