Chapter 363 Hunting Down the Spider!

From the moment the Fairy King uttered his arrogant words, Jameson stopped his visit with Roderick. He turned on the television, and then, not content with that, opened the window to listen directly to the sound echoing throughout New York.

"Madman!" Jameson roared. "Completely insane!"

For a moment, for reasons unknown, Roderick asked, "Are you talking about Spider-Man?"

"I'm talking about that damn Fairy King! He's a complete madman! An antisocial psychopath! A terrorist! Playing with the lives of all of New York like a fucking joke, who does he think he is? The Joker from DC?!"

Phil Ulrich returned at that moment, asking with some confusion, "What's wrong?"

"That damned madman, the Fairy King!" Jonah suddenly changed his tune halfway through his curse: "A complete madman, what is he playing at, hunting down superheroes?"

"Didn't you always think Spider-Man was a masked criminal? Wouldn't it be better for two criminals to fight each other?"

“That’s the police’s responsibility,” Jameson insisted, maintaining his stance: “Unless it’s an emergency, vigilantes have no right to kill criminals. And criminals certainly shouldn’t kill vigilantes!”

Mary Jane simply watched as goblins flew toward a certain direction, then seemed to notice that they were flying toward... her.

“Jarvis can’t crack the NYPD’s security network system!” Tony slammed his fist on the table, gritting his teeth as he stared at the string of data before him. “They used some kind of truly random number generator to create the sequence cipher. The key for each instant is generated randomly based on these truly random numbers. Jarvis’s cracking system can’t keep up. The ever-changing air humidity, the sunshine temperature in a certain area, the real-time weather charts—if I can’t find the truly random numbers behind all this, there’s no way to crack it!”

“Norman Osborn sent a message saying he’s driving toward Avengers Tower.”

Pym was also helping Tony with the calculations: "He said he had forcibly shut down the information services that Osborn Technologies provided to the NYPD, but it didn't work; the whole system started running on its own. He tried to shut down his AI system and couldn't manually restart it."

The captain looked out the window at the tiny bright spot that was flying higher and higher, and finally asked Peter over the communicator.

"What do you think, child?"

"Please tell the others not to interfere. I'll handle them." Peter walked to the edge of the rooftop, watching one flying skateboard after another rush towards him. He then took a deep breath and opened the belt hidden under his Spider-Man suit.

It seems that bringing along enough spider robots shrunk by Pym particles was the right thing to do, in order to guard against Roderick filling the entire studio with bombs.

However, whether it's the bombs on the opponent's body or the pumpkin bombs they carry, it takes time to disarm them. Peter isn't worried about dozens of evil gray pumpkin heads chasing him; he's only worried that he won't have time to disarm the bombs inside their bodies.

In addition, it is necessary to maintain high mobility and high-altitude combat. The only drawback of the pumpkin bomb is its small blast radius. It is necessary to ensure that the explosion will not affect ordinary people.

"Ready, buddy?"

Venom let out a cheer; he could sense Peter's anger, and he would amplify that anger, making Spider-Man—

【Fearless!】 Peter leaped forward, charging towards the oncoming goblin army. The first one to arrive was a gray goblin, who was laughing maniacally and preparing to throw a pumpkin bomb at Peter when his face was covered in spider webs. Peter then punched him hard, snatched the pumpkin bomb from his hand, and threw it into the air to detonate it.

Then, all of the demon's pumpkin bombs were thrown away, and unsurprisingly, almost at the same instant Peter threw them, all of them detonated. Peter then confirmed that the pumpkin bomb inside the demon's body had also been removed, punched him away, and then the glider and the demon were stuck to the wall with spider webs.

Goblins who happened to pass by threw pumpkin bombs, burning the losers who were eliminated by Spider-Man to ashes.

"Alas! Look, brave Spider-Man wants to save a poor goblin, a hero wants to save someone I've brainwashed. What if he's a bad guy? What if he's utterly wicked? But don't worry, I'll burn him!"

The Fairy King continued to laugh and joke, completely unconcerned about the deaths of his subordinates: "Hey, what if he was a good person? Won't I feel guilty?"

"Don't worry, he's already dead!"

The entire battle was witnessed by people looking up from the streets of Manhattan, who watched in disbelief as these lunatics chased Spider-Man. Spider-Man probably didn't want to involve ordinary people, so the battlefield remained at least thirty meters in the air.

However, this does not prevent the goblin army from choosing to attack ordinary people to force Spider-Man to get closer to them.

A pumpkin-headed Jack charged toward the crossroads, grinning as he prepared to throw his pumpkin bomb. But halfway there, Spider-Man stuck to his back and pulled him up. The pumpkin bomb exploded in mid-air, while the pumpkin head rode his skateboard toward Spider-Man. However, Spider-Man used his webs to shift his position in mid-air, causing Pumpkin Jack and the demon to collide. In an instant, the pumpkin bomb exploded, creating a dazzling display of fireworks in the air.

The two people's flying skateboards crashed into the crowd, but Peter grabbed them with his symbiote tentacles and angrily slammed them into the wall.

"A double kill! Or maybe a triple kill if you include the previous one? Did Spider-Man know the bomb would detonate at that time? Maybe he did? Maybe he didn't?"

"But like I said, it doesn't matter anyway, since the person is already dead!"

Peter took a deep breath, preparing to deal with the remaining goblin army, when his spider sense suddenly went off. A gray goblin, riding a flying skateboard at super speed, grabbed him and shouted, "I've got him!"

Venom shoved him away in an instant. The pumpkin bombs that another demon and Ajax threw out to bomb him and Peter, whom he was holding, were consumed by the Grey Demon alone. In an instant, the Grey Demon was burned to ashes, while the demon who threw the bomb crashed into the flames, and then, screaming, lost his way and crashed into a traffic light, breaking his neck as he fell to the ground.

This is not your fault.

Venom intended to offer Peter a few words of comfort, but unexpectedly, he didn't hear any words of comfort from Peter, but rather a single sound.

"Of course I know!"

Then, he saw Spider-Man rip a streetlamp off mid-air and send a demon flying like a home run.

Stream ciphers are encryption methods where the key (the substitution relationship between the ciphertext and the plaintext) changes over time, meaning the encryption method is constantly changing. Since normal computers can only generate pseudo-random numbers, stream ciphers generated by normal computers can be broken. However, if truly random numbers are introduced as the key (such as ocean waves or real-time pedestrian flow at an intersection), then theoretically, they are unbreakable.
