Chapter 285 Handle Wolverine with Care

"what happened?"

Wanda, noticing Peter looking around curiously, asked him what was wrong. Peter didn't hide it: "Something's happened, something dangerous. We have to go out and see... Oh!"

After hearing this, Wanda stood up and manipulated her energy to levitate herself and Peter. The two quickly crossed the wall and saw lightning streaking across the night sky.

"Is my father fighting?"

Wanda took Peter to a relatively secluded corner, where Peter immediately changed into Spider-Man, and the two of them headed to the location of the palace.

Meanwhile, both Katie, who was listening to the concert, and the other members of the New Mutant Team who were wandering around other parts of Kenosha received Logan's message. Katie glanced at X-Sound, who was performing, with some regret, and then immediately left the concert venue.

He broke free from the constraints of gravity, shattered Magneto's safe, and arrived at Magneto's palace, unleashing unprecedentedly dazzling lightning before taking a deep breath.

Electricity was forcibly extracted directly from Kenosha's power transmission system. With each breath of the Electric Man, the current surged into his body. He greedily savored it all, then let out a hearty laugh.

Max could feel every current flowing into his body, every drop of his blood merging with it. The currents that were once incredibly powerful and harmful now only brought him pleasure. He spun around in the sky above Harbor Hammer, greedily drawing in every current he could find, instantly paralyzing almost the entire city.

Magneto and Wolverine walked out of the palace. Looking at Max flying around in the sky, constantly releasing lightning, Logan couldn't help but sneer: "A foolproof safe, huh?"

Magneto stared at Max in the sky with a dark expression.

"Wolverine, take care of him with your X-Men."

"Then what do you do?"

“If the person you’re looking for has already completed the modification, then Nathaniel is definitely preparing to take the gene editing device away.” Magneto coldly stated what he planned to do: “That belongs to Genosha. Nathaniel cannot take it away. Besides, this was originally your mission.”

Logan stared at Magneto for a moment before finally letting out a cold laugh. After sending a message to the students, he put away his phone, stretched his limbs, and pulled the mask from behind his suit and put it on: "Mind giving me a ride?"

"Of course not, Logan." Magneto, controlling the adamantium within Wolverine, flicked his wrist, tossing Wolverine toward Electro, who was frolicking in the air. Electro, enjoying himself, didn't notice Wolverine using a fastball attack flying overhead. Caught off guard, he was stabbed in the back by Logan and plummeted from mid-air. Seeing Electro still jumping around despite being stabbed twice, Logan couldn't help but smile.

"Alright, young man, let's talk in the square."

Then, with a flash of lightning, Logan was struck and sent flying, but Electro did the same, both plummeting towards the ground simultaneously. Logan was caught by a spider web, preventing him from crashing directly to the ground. Peter landed on a nearby telephone pole and asked, "How are you, Logan?"

"It's hard to say. I've seen a lot of mutants who can generate electricity, but this one is different."

Ignoring the pungent aroma of meat emanating from Logan, Peter went into the deep crater that Electro had created. But in an instant, Electro was thrown into the air, blood flowing from his wounds. The blood emitted a blue light and crackled with lightning upon contact with the air.

Peter was a little dumbfounded.

Electro was searching for the guy who had stabbed him. He knew, of course, that it was the famous Wolverine, but so what? What did Wolverine do? He felt incredibly powerful right now.

Before Electro could react after being slammed to the ground, crimson energy bound his limbs. Then, the new mutant members, Sunspot and Cannon, who had finally arrived, unleashed their abilities in the darkness, their scorching rays striking Electro simultaneously and pinning him to the ground.

"You have a telepath in your team, right?"

Peter looked at Electro, who was being pinned to the ground by Wanda, and then turned to the new mutant team: "Can we stop him from using his powers? As long as he continues to use his powers, Genoa's electricity cannot be sustained."

“It’s not that simple. Moonstar’s ability is essentially telepathy, but she can’t establish a telepathic connection with humans yet.” Logan brushed the rubble off his clothes and walked over. “She can establish a telepathic connection with animals, or use telepathy to create illusions that frighten humans, but if you expect her to be like Chuck or Jean, this kid can’t do that right now.”

Peter looked at Wanda again and noticed that cold sweat had broken out on her forehead. He quickly covered Electro's skin with insulating spider silk to help reduce her stress as much as possible.

Logically speaking, Magneto should be the best candidate to deal with Electro, as he can control all forms of magnetism and magnetic fields and could theoretically restrain Electro.
