Chapter 250 The Bound

Peter Parker is now without the Symbiote suit, and without Venom's help, his abilities have been greatly reduced, or rather, returned to the level Spider-Man should have.

But he had to face Kang the Conqueror.

"Your resilience freed you from the illusion, but it brought you destruction, Spider-Man." Peter, however, was protected by the spider totem, so the Soul Stone had no effect on his thoughts. He understood his situation almost instantly. So Peter began to try to communicate with the theoretically omnipresent Kovac, and he succeeded. The overflowing energy transformed back into Kovac, only without reason.

This attracted the Conqueror Kang. Fortunately, even the Time Stone's power is limited within the Soul Stone, preventing it from functioning fully. When Kang used the Time Stone to try and take Kovacs and Peter away, the Soul Stone intervened. He only managed to transport Peter and Kovacs to another point in time before the Time Stone's power was restricted to affecting only the user.

"To save the entire multiverse, you're willing to abandon Earth as it is now? Your actions just now nearly destroyed the entire world, and you didn't even consider the possibility that Reed Richards could send Kovacs back."

Peter looked at Conqueror Kang before him and retorted dismissively. The other man spoke very nicely, talking about saving the universe, while Kovacs was a threat to the multiverse.

In reality, Kang didn't care about Earth in the 21st century at all; all he wanted was to preserve his own 31st century. He didn't even consider the possibility of Reed Richards and Adam the Sorcerer succeeding; he only believed that he could succeed, and he didn't care if he blew up Earth in the 21st century.

"In that case, Spider-Man, I'll take you down first, and then I'll eliminate Kovak."

Kang, who was exposed, was not angry at all. He just kept talking while using the Time Stone to push his speed to the limit, trying to bypass Kovac, who was standing there in a daze and trying to complete his personality from the souls of different people.

So what Peter needs to do is very simple: stall until Kovacs fully awakens. Then, a Cosmic Cube that can control its own abilities will make defeating Kang a piece of cake.
Peter barely managed to dodge Kang's attack using his spider-sense, and even more barely managed to land a punch using it. This punch cracked Kang's mask, and as the crack automatically healed, Peter quickly made himself invisible and hid. Once Kang could no longer see Spider-Man, he activated the analysis device on his mask to see through Spider-Man's invisibility.

But he still couldn't see Spider-Man.

Because Peter hid in Kang's chair.

Yes, even though Kang had traveled into the Soul Stone, he still brought his chair with him. Peter happened to be stuck to the back of the chair, and then he stretched out his sinful hands, and a huge bio-electric current flowed directly through the chair into Kang's entire body.

"You primitive man, you actually think lightning can penetrate my defenses?!" Conqueror Kang's armor was naturally unafraid of lightning. He grabbed Peter and questioned him sharply, while Peter just looked at him indifferently.

"At least I don't have to wait for you to stop, right?"

So he punched Kang in the face.

Having left Peter's perfect world, Cindy knew exactly what she needed to do and who she needed to find. Even with Doctor Octopus, whom Peter himself acknowledged as incredibly intelligent, there was no way to achieve time travel in Peter's perfect world.

In other words, the conventional approach is no longer viable in this situation. To travel to other points in time within the Soul Stone's space, they need to find another way. Their first target was Adam Warlock, but unfortunately, the gleaming Adam Warlock was extremely weak at this moment.
