Chapter 234 Arresting Tombstone
Inside the abandoned subway station tunnel, Peter shone the spider-shaped flashlight from his belt onto the road ahead as he asked questions.

"You mean you're not planning to go to Puerto Rico?"

Seeing Felicia dressed in the Black Cat outfit and holding the grappling hook he had given her, Peter expressed his confusion: "Can I ask why?"

“The answer is simple. The best time to investigate is when Spider-Man, the most meddlesome of the Avengers, leaves New York. All the monsters and freaks will come out.” Felicia stretched and gave her answer. Peter looked at her with some confusion and worry: “It sounds like you already have some directions for your investigation?”

"Yes, otherwise why would I come to you? I need your help to deal with them before you leave."

Felicia smiled and looked at Peter: "What's wrong? Worried about not finding anyone to go with? Do you need a girl to accompany you to the Caribbean beach?"

Peter looked at Felicia with disdain. This man seemed unable to speak unless provoked. After checking the time on his glasses, he asked, "Are you sure we're in here?"

"Of course, I specifically went to see their account books."

"I can't believe that you actually went to Manhattan to gather intelligence when so many symbiotes were invading."

Felicia glanced at Peter but didn't say anything more because the person they were waiting for had already arrived.

The gravestone, with its greyish-white skin, arrived at the platform. Peter immediately turned off his flashlight and became invisible, while the black cat also hid to the side.

Tombstone's skin was natural; he was an albino Black man, and because of this, he faced discrimination in both Black and white communities.

But he happened to come into contact with a special chemical agent that made his albinism skin incredibly hard, making him impervious to blades and bullets, and giving him immense strength.

“The Tombstone gang may not be the most powerful among these gangs, but they are definitely the most troublesome.”

With its invulnerability to blades and bullets, immense strength, and the fact that Tombstone itself possesses considerable engineering knowledge, it is a dangerous entity for most street heroes, at least in the late game, or even as a final boss. Perhaps only Doomfist's fist can cause it any damage.

Peter took this very seriously.

Felicia spoke softly. Although Peter was invisible, Felicia could still sense his presence beside her. She smiled, looking at Peter, "Have you figured out how to deal with this moving stone?"

“If you had asked me this when we first met, I probably wouldn’t have been able to think of a solution either, but things are different now. Tombstone is just a minor character. We can handle him easily.”

Peter spoke with considerable confidence, then moved into the darkness with Black Cat. The darkness of the abandoned subway station provided them with cover, allowing them to eliminate one Tombstone henchman after another without taking any damage. These guys were quickly taken down by Peter and Black Cat as they stealthily moved through the shadows.

It was at this moment that Tombstone realized something was wrong—why were so many of his men missing?
"Someone is plotting against us, so we must remain vigilant."

Gravestone arrived on the platform, waiting for the buyer. He was cautiously observing his surroundings when suddenly, accompanied by an old man he knew all too well, bound in a spider web and thrown out, Gravestone finally realized who was behind it all and immediately roared, "Spider-Man!"

"Even a spider can sneak in silently in the dark."

A deep voice appeared, followed by a powerful punch that slammed into Tombstone's head. Tombstone was sent flying by the punch, almost smashing through the tunnel. He was stunned for a moment when he saw this, then laughed. After wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, he got up and rushed towards Spider-Man, who had revealed his form.

Spider-Man's manifesto is not over yet.

“Even a spider can bring light in the darkness.” Spider-Man spoke in a deliberately low voice, much like Batman. White lightning crackled from his hands as he slammed them down on the tombstone rushing towards him. In that instant, Spider-Man truly brought light.

He grabbed the tombstone's face directly, releasing a powerful surge of electricity, causing the tombstone to scream in agony.

Meanwhile, there was also the black cat's complaint; she was kicking Tombstone's henchman away with a back kick.

"Thank you for the light, Spider-Man, now everyone knows where I am."

Peter shrugged, the tombstone still standing. His indestructible skin gave him the edge as a top-tier punching bag. He grabbed Spider-Man's hand, intending to crush his wrist. But Peter not only didn't budge, he actually lifted the tombstone up.

"In the darkness, even hidden evil has nowhere to hide when it encounters a spider!"

As Peter spoke, he controlled the venom to extend thick tentacles from its back, which lifted the tombstone and slammed it onto the top of the tunnel.

He suddenly realized that the tombstone's internal organs were likely not very strong, only its skin was tough. If he were to force-feed the symbiote down the tombstone's throat now, it would definitely kill it.

Peter frowned. What was going on? Was Nal influencing him?

Otherwise, why would I have thought of such a tyrannical thing?
But then again, unlike other criminals, Tombstone is a drug dealer…

Do you think the tombstone deserves to die?

Peter asked Felicia about it, and Felicia, who had defeated all the Tombstone minions with her super soldier physique, looked surprised after hearing the question, then frowned.

“He deserved it, Spider, but…”

"Should I not have killed him?"

"Don't make people afraid of you."

The black cat walked up to him: "People fear powers they cannot control or understand, supervillains and superheroes alike."

"But you've made the whole city stop being afraid of you, don't ruin all of that."

“You’re right.” Peter said, retracting his tentacles and letting the tombstone fall to the ground. He sighed and stuck Peter to the ground. “Notify the NYPD.”

A few minutes later, the black cat standing on the roof asked Peter, who was crouching on the edge of the roof, "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. If you're not coming to Puerto Rico with us, please be careful."

Felicia nodded, while Peter frowned. He wasn't sure if he was influenced by Nar, but the influence was definitely there.

He needs to go to the Baxter Building first.
