Chapter 150 The Spider Web Gods

Because Peter and Wade arrived in this universe, some plot sequences were disrupted. Hawkeye led Peter and the others to take down the Wasteland Hulk. Meanwhile, Bullseye, Red Skull's top assassin who discovered the clones' massacre by Hawkeye, had already killed Hawkeye's former employer and tracked him down to his ex-wife's house.

So he stood there quietly, waiting. Then, a mixed-race little girl came out of the auto repair shop and stood in front of Bullseye.

"Are you some kind of pervert? Staring at my house?"

"Relax, young lady, I'm just here to see your father." The transplanted prosthetic eye displayed the other person's identification information: "Is he home?"

“This is not his home. He only comes here every few years when he makes my mother angry.”

The lie detector in his prosthetic eye showed that the little girl was telling the truth, which disappointed Bullseye. So he took out a steel fork, intending to play a "friendly" joke on the little girl. Just then, his prosthetic eye quickly alerted him to the surrounding energy gathering and increasing. Then, he saw a red vortex appear out of thin air, and then a person walked out of it. Almost before Bullseye could react, heavy machine gun fire swept through his body, turning him into a pile of minced meat.

The little girl, Ashley Barton, Hawkeye's daughter, looked in surprise at the man who emerged from the vortex. He was wearing a heavy, high-tech suit of armor painted in red and blue. Ashley had seen this kind of outfit before; she had a Spider-Man suit at home that was many years old, with the same color scheme.

Who is this?

"My name is War Spider, from the Spider Legion that traverses the multiverse." War Spider raised his right hand, and on the gauntlet of his Iron Man armor, a ring could be clearly seen on his middle finger, inside which was a brightly colored spider that was moving.

“Ashley Barton from Earth 21923, you possess the potential to break through moral constraints and conquer your own universe. I invite you to join the Web Legion.”

Peter controlled Venom to rip the arc-shaped reactor off War Spider's chest. Deprived of its power source, War Spider raised its right hand at the last moment. The Spider Legion is a multiverse-wide organization dedicated to helping unconventional, morally unbound spider totems who refuse to be heroes conquer their own universes. Founded by two powerful totems who conquered their own, the organization later welcomed three more spider totems who single-handedly conquered their own cosmoses.

Within the Spider Legion, these powerful totems, capable of conquering their own universes single-handedly, are known as the Spider Gods. The Spider Gods possess the means to traverse the multiverse, and they create Spider Lamp Rings for their new members to invade even more multiverses.

Of course, in order to avoid, or rather delay, the time it would take for Spider-Men, as heroes, to discover them and form an opposing organization, the Web Corps will not recruit spider totems with heroic tendencies.

However, even with such precautions, an accident still occurred.

When the War Spider's corpse returned to Earth 51821's headquarters, it also brought back relevant information. However, the video data recorded by its armor was not uploaded to the information headquarters; instead, it was intercepted by the Spider Gods.

"It seems that there are other Spider-Men who have mastered the ability to travel through the multiverse."

The speaking Spider God is a spider totem covered in a black symbiotic cloak. In his own universe, he replaced the Symbiote God Nal as the new Symbiote God, but he could not control the corruption of his universe's venomous thoughts, and thus assimilated his own world.

"This shouldn't be due to technology or the power of other people; I felt the power of destiny emanating from him."

Flames engulf the Phoenix Spider; she is Jean Grey from another universe who, after being bitten by a radioactive spider, awakened her mutant abilities and spider-like powers. The Phoenix Force then found her, and she ultimately became the Dark Phoenix.

The gods then looked at the giant lantern in the sky, which contained a Karl King from a certain universe. He had devoured his entire universe and become a spider swarm. However, even the Spider Gods, who were not exactly good people themselves, disdained to associate with Karl King. Instead, they trapped his consciousness inside a specific spider and created the Lantern Beast for traversing the multiverse.

Incidentally, this idea was proposed by another Spider God who was not present, the Spider Servant. He was Wade Wilson from a certain universe who, while seeking a cure for cancer, was bitten by a spider and gained a healing factor and spider abilities, as well as the ability to infect others through bodily fluids. He then unleashed a biohazard in his own universe and conquered it.

“That’s the clan chief.”

Finally, a spider totem, clearly of African descent and dressed in traditional African tribal attire, spoke, while grasping a spider that had split off from a karkin.

He is Anansi, the god of lies and stories in the Akham mythology, and the world's first spider totem.
