Chapter 148 Cleaning Up the Hulk Gang

Chapter 148 Cleaning Up the Hulk Gang

The explosion was not the end of the battle; quite the opposite, it was merely the beginning. Although most of the Hulks were killed in the massive blast, a few dozen still managed to stand up, mangled and bloodied. They didn't possess the powerful regenerative abilities of their fathers, Banner or their grandfathers, but their vitality remained terrifyingly tenacious.

One by one, the Hulks stood up, glaring fiercely at the three reckless guys who had stormed into the camp. To them, the death of their companions was nothing to mourn; there were plenty of women in the wasteland, and they could just capture them and have sex with them.

"Skin them alive and pull out their tendons!"

A Hulk roared and leaped towards Spider-Man. Peter activated the backpack on his back, and the Iron Spider armor instantly covered his entire body. Three mechanical claws on his back caught the Hulk as he was falling through the air, and then Hawkeye's special arrow shattered the Hulk's head.

Green blood splattered on the armor's visor, but Peter surprisingly felt no emotional reaction. Although he hadn't actually killed them, he had witnessed their deaths and hadn't stopped them. It wasn't that he was respecting the laws of this wasteland; it was simply that when he saw what was in the pot, one thing became clear.

Anyone with a normal mind would have the right to punish these beasts. These guys are no longer human; they are just animals.

The three Hulks targeted the elderly Hawkeye, who seemed to be the weakest, so they all rushed at him. Hawkeye first drew his bow and accurately shot the first Hulk through the eye with his explosive arrow, waiting for his head to explode. Then, he used a rope to entangle the next Hulk's feet and stepped on his head as he fell. He then fired an arrow at the third Hulk who was rushing towards him.

The arrow pierced Hulk's body, and the liquid metal covered his face before burning him to ashes. As Hulk plummeted from mid-air, Hawkeye, without turning his head, drew his bow and used a specially made metal arrowhead capable of piercing the heads of inferior Hulks to shoot through the head of the Hulk he was standing on.

"These little brats are too weak. They're far inferior to their fathers. They can't even beat an ordinary old man with a bow and arrow."

As the battle progressed, the descendants of the Hulk gradually fell lifeless, one by one collapsing. Just then, as all the noise finally subsided, a trembling, aged voice rang out.

"Who is it that's making so much noise?"

A gaunt old man emerged from a cave behind the camp, seemingly awakened by the loud explosion. When he saw Spider-Man and Deadpool on the field, he grinned with unusual excitement. What did he see? Were they two boring imitators, or were they real, genuine heroes?
This is Bruce Banner. He's been suppressing his feelings for too long. Ever since the war, neither Red Skull nor Doom has been willing to fight him. They would rather give up the entire West Coast than eliminate that terrifying Hulk. In order to pursue a satisfying battle at the end of his life, he humiliates the old Wolverine to the extreme, and the rent increases year after year.

Unexpectedly, Wolverine, despite his seemingly invincible body, had no backbone whatsoever, enduring such humiliation with such meekness. He wondered if he would have to kill Wolverine's wife and children one day before this guy would finally show his claws.

But there's no need for that anymore, because today, an opponent has arrived who will give him plenty of fun!
"Haha, you're too kind. You came all by yourself, and you even brought a free gift."

"A freebie?" Hawkeye, seeing Bruce Banner's expression, fired an arrow at Banner with a self-deprecating laugh. Although his eyesight was not what it used to be, the arrow was incredibly accurate, flying straight towards Banner's head. However, the elderly Banner simply stretched out his hand, caught the arrow in mid-air, and snapped it in two.

Then, he leaped high into the air, his frail body landing on the ground and creating a huge crater. This was Bruce Banner now, who had long since erased the other Hulk personalities with his twisted personality over the long years. Even without transforming, he possessed superhuman strength far exceeding that of the other Hulks.

"Come on! Heroes! Let's see what you're really made of!" Banner roared, only to see a grenade roll towards him. It wasn't an explosive grenade; the small-scale ultrasonic burst caused the old man to kneel in pain. Deadpool, wielding a katana and wearing headphones, walked over, revealing a smile.

"You know, we don't have much money for CG effects, so let's skip the big one."

Knife up and down.

The adamantium katana landed on Banner's neck, almost severing his head, but halfway through, the rapidly expanding green muscles stopped the katana from cutting. Deadpool yelled "Oh no!" and was then pushed to the ground by the rapidly expanding Hulk.

Neither Peter nor Deadpool, nor even Hawkeye, a local, had ever seen the Hulk like this. He was bloated and enormous, his once amazing muscles had disappeared, replaced by green flab, and his body was much larger than before, standing more than five meters tall. He had almost no hair on his head, and his green skin was covered with scars and rotten flesh, making him look incredibly bizarre and terrifying.

Hulk grabbed Deadpool, who was pinned under his buttocks.

"No, I'm warning you, don't! Juggernaut already used that trick in the movies!"

Deadpool, whose hands and legs were each held by Hulk's two hands, cried out, ignoring Hawkeye's arrows that were shooting at his face. Hawkeye just grinned as he tore Deadpool in two and threw him aside.

He looked at Spider-Man, who was wearing the Iron Spider armor, and gave a disdainful smile.

"Are you really Spider-Man? You just stood by and watched your teammates get beaten up without doing anything."

"First, I'm pretty sure Wade won't die; second, he's buying me time."

Hulk was stunned.

Delaying time? Delaying what time?
"Delay until the flames are not so hot."

Venom seeped from the gaps in the armor, instantly enveloping Peter's entire body. But this time, the venom didn't simply cover Peter's body or the armor; instead, it continued to expand, eventually transforming into a massive monster nearly three meters tall, with muscular build, even more ferocious eyes, its gaping maw filled with fangs, and a long tongue lolling out.

"How about finding an opponent of similar size, you bastard?"
