Chapter 112 Rhinoceros Far Surpasses Ton King

Chapter 112 The Rhinoceros Far Surpasses the Hundred-Ton King
Alexei Mikhailovich Sisevich the Rhino rampaged through the streets of Manhattan because he needed money. Kingpin gave him two million dollars, which he thought would be enough, but it wasn't.

So he escaped from prison, stormed into a bank, and carried the gold out of the vault. He then ran amok, intending to exchange it for cash. But now he faced two problems. First, his enormous size meant he couldn't escape the high-tech surveillance no matter where he hid. It was only a matter of time before he was caught.

Secondly, he didn't know how to exchange the money. If the gold hadn't gone in, it would have been fine, but the problem was that the gold had gone in. The only good news was that he was carrying gold, not US dollars, so it should be easier to spend.

Then, there's the third one.

A dense web suddenly appeared in front of him, blocking the entire road. Rhino lowered his head, carrying the gold, and charged straight through the dense web, but he didn't notice that Spider-Man had secretly moved the manhole cover under his feet. He lost his footing and fell to the ground.

“Alexei, what’s wrong with you? Weren’t we talking fine yesterday? The police didn’t put you in S.H.I.E.L.D. because of your good behavior, not to make it easier for you to escape.”

While Peter used his spider web to stick the rhinoceros to the ground as much as possible, he didn't forget to ask what had happened: "You were just arrested yesterday, and today you're robbing a bank? What were you thinking?"

Rhino, true to his word, said, "I realized I didn't have enough money, so that's it."

Peter Parker sighed helplessly. Sometimes dealing with honest people can be troublesome because they are just too honest.

"You can't rob a bank just because you don't have enough money. If everyone robbed a bank when they were broke, the banks would never be able to open."

The rhinoceros, who had fallen to the ground and was getting up, momentarily lost his composure. After thinking for a while, he finally realized that it was a joke.

"I'm short a lot of money, and no one can lend me any."

“Um…maybe you could talk to me, or talk to Stark? You know, he’s pretty rich.” Peter used five layers of reinforced spider webs to firmly bind the rhinoceros.

To be honest, the rhinoceros is a troublesome opponent, possibly the first enemy Peter can't handle now that his abilities have been upgraded. Osborn had already considered the function of avoiding conductivity when designing the metallic skin, and invisibility isn't very useful for stopping the rhinoceros.

If you were hit by a rhinoceros, it would be no different from being hit by a 100-ton king – the 100-ton king might have an easier time hiding.

However, when faced with Peter's suggestion, the rhinoceros simply roared and used brute force to break free of the spider web, stood obediently, picked up the gold nugget, then tore open the roof of a car next to him and said righteously.

“No!” Rhino wrapped the gold bars around his arm with sheet metal, rejecting Spider-Man’s suggestion: “I can’t do that. That’s extortion, blackmail. I need to do it like this: get the money, hand it over, and then let you catch me.”

"Only in this way can bad people receive the punishment they deserve."

Spider-Man remained silent.

Spider-Man was shocked.

"No way! Dude! Haven't you thought about how much damage you've caused along the way, how many people have been injured? What's worse, someone almost died!"

Spider-Man, completely baffled by Rhino's logic, let out a wail. Rhino, however, nodded. He had no doubt that he had considered this, and therefore, he was willing to take responsibility. Any punishment other than a fine, even the death penalty, was acceptable to him. But before that, he needed to send the money away.

So, after getting the gold bar, Rhino struggled to break free from all the spider webs, ignored Spider-Man's powerful electric shock, and quickly ran to one side. Peter used his webs to grab Rhino's back and pulled him forcefully to the other side.

Theoretically, the Rhino hadn't received any serum or undergone genetic modification; beneath his armor, he should be an ordinary human. But unfortunately, this was just theory. Peter felt an unprecedented pulling force from the Rhino's running—higher than a scorpion's, even more absurd than the "giant wheel" he had pulled with its accelerator floored.

Without a doubt, Spider-Man was "carried away" by Rhino. His feet barely managed to hold on for a moment before he was lifted off the ground. Peter didn't realize what was happening until he landed on the ground and understood what had happened—he was still holding onto the web and was being dragged along the street by Rhino.

Okay, let's try another way.

Tying the spider silk around his waist, Peter began to imitate the bully Maguire, using the silk to stick to nearby buildings, connecting the silk with the buildings, and then dragging the rhinoceros to create enough pulling force to stop the behemoth.

He was able to feel the pulling sensation again, so there was no doubt that the method was working.

However, at that moment, Peter saw a burly black man wearing a hoodie and a hood down crossing the road, seemingly unaware that a huge rhinoceros was charging towards him. In just a few seconds, the rhinoceros would crush him into a bloody pulp.

So Spider-Man shouted loudly.

"careful!"

But it was too late.

The incredibly strong rhinoceros-man rammed into the burly man, sending the large black man flying. But unexpectedly, the rhinoceros-man also slowed down as a result, and Peter was thrown off balance by the momentum, forcing him to tear the spider webs himself—otherwise, he might have been pulled back by them.

He landed steadily on the wall of a nearby building, turned his head against the wall, and watched the rhinoceros man quickly escape with the gold nugget. On the other side, the black man got up from the ground unharmed, looked at his body that had been hit with lingering fear, then seemed to understand something, glanced around, and then quickly ran away.

Peter watched this scene in astonishment; the black man was undoubtedly a superhuman as well. However, the victim wasn't the key issue at the moment; the real problem was the escaped Rhino Man.

Peter prepared to jump and continue the chase, but the wind pressure that appeared in mid-air blocked him. A helicopter appeared between the tall buildings and slowly descended.

Facing the gust of wind from the helicopter's propellers, Peter shielded his eyes from the dust as he watched the one-eyed, black-haired man standing on top of it, looking down at him.

Forget about Rhino, Spider-Man.

Nick Fury looked at Peter with a serious expression: "Hand him over to the Thunder agents. I need your help. S.H.I.E.L.D. is in big trouble now."
