Hogwarts: Don't call me Wandmaker
Chapter 417 Fog
Chapter 417 Fog
As more and more people gathered in front of the venue, the professors quickly took notice.
"What are you doing?!" Snape was the first to come over.
Upon seeing him, Malfoy's eyes lit up.
"Professor, Weasley hit me!" he was the first to complain, holding up his hand. "Look, he knocked out my teeth!"
Snape glanced at the two teeth in Malfoy's hand with a grim expression.
“He slandered my father first!” Ron shouted angrily.
“Shut up, Weasley. I can tell whose fault this is.” Snape glared at him. “Hitting a classmate, Gryffindor loses 100 points!”
"That's not fair!" Ron was even angrier. "He was the one who spoke recklessly first, so why should only our points be deducted!"
“Talking back to the professor,” Snape said expressionlessly. “Gryffindor loses another hundred points.”
Malfoy was overjoyed. Two teeth, two hundred points—it was a bit low, but still pretty good.
He suddenly thought that losing a few more teeth wouldn't be so bad; at worst, he could go to the school clinic later, and Mrs. Pomfrey could make those teeth grow back in just a few minutes.
Ron tried to say something more, but Hermione held him tightly. It was no use; Snape wouldn't reason with them, and if this continued, Gryffindor would only lose more points.
“We’ll go see Professor McGonagall later,” she tried to calm Ron down.
"Ha... Professor Bat and his filthy bug student."
"It could also be Professor Bedbug."
Fred and George's light, airy voices plunged the originally noisy venue into an eerie silence.
Everyone, including the Gryffindors, stared at them in disbelief.
Indeed, people often called Snape a bat spirit in private, but no one dared to say it to his face; they were the first.
Snape was stunned, and his already gloomy face turned ashen again.
"you……"
“Severus!” Dumbledore’s stern voice rang out from behind the group.
“I hope you can go to the Ministry of Magic in my place.” He walked over and said seriously, “We need to know what happened; it’s important.”
Snape didn't seem too keen on making the trip, but under Dumbledore's watchful eye, he nodded and agreed.
“Gryffindor, deduct five hundred points!” he said, then strode toward the school gate.
"Thank goodness, it's just a point deduction." Hermione breathed a sigh of relief, but said with lingering fear, "You guys almost got expelled just now."
“Oh, whatever, we don’t care,” Fred said.
“Yeah,” George said, looking at the Slytherins still huddled together. “We’d rather not have the diploma than graduate with disgusting guys like them.”
Hermione wanted to try to persuade them again, but the two of them didn't want to listen.
Fred stared at Malfoy in the crowd.
"Kid, you better pray they stay with you all the time."
"Never be alone."
Ignoring Malfoy's constantly changing expression, the two left after finishing their conversation, as they needed to visit Mrs. Weasley, who had just fainted, at the university hospital.
Seeing this, Ginny and Ron quickly followed.
Harry and Hermione thought about it and decided to go too.
"Aren't you going to take a look?"
In the crowd, Lila said to Celen, "I remember you got along very well with the Weasley kids, didn't you?"
“That’s right.” Xiren nodded. “But I think what they need most right now isn’t a visit from friends.”
“That’s true,” sighed Garian Ollivander, Siron’s father. “I wonder how Arthur is doing.” “Yes.”
Because of what happened, none of them chose to stay at Hogwarts any longer and left quickly.
After seeing them out of the gates of Hogwarts, Celen immediately returned to the castle.
In the foyer, he encountered Harry and Hermione, who had just returned from the university hospital.
"How is Mrs. Weasley?" Siron asked.
“I don’t know.” Harry shook his head.
“We were chased away by Madam Pomfrey as soon as we got to the school hospital,” Hermione said. “It seems to be Dumbledore’s order that no students other than the Weasleys are allowed to visit.”
“He wanted to protect Mrs. Weasley from some people who might act impulsively and cause trouble,” Celen said.
In England, Death Eaters have always been a name most hated by wizards. Now that Percy is being labeled a Death Eater, it's hard to say whether anyone will take their anger out on Mrs. Weasley because of it.
After all, these were all teenage wizards, caught up in the excitement of their youth, and Dumbledore was clearly well aware of this.
But Madam Pomfrey clearly didn't intend to say that. Since Dumbledore had spoken, she strictly followed his instructions and kept everyone except Weasley outside the school hospital.
This naturally included Harry and Hermione, who had actually come to visit.
"Never mind, let's go later," Xilun said, gently shaking his head.
Harry and Hermione had no other choice but to nod and walk into the Great Hall with Sherren.
Dinner was sumptuous; to celebrate Hogwarts' victory in the Triwizard Tournament, the house-elves in the kitchen had prepared many cream cakes.
But no one was in the mood to savor the delicious cakes. Especially Gryffindor, where the atmosphere was as somber as the night before an exam.
Xiren stared at the sausages on the golden plate, lost in thought.
He didn't understand what was going on either. How could Percy have been arrested as a Death Eater out of the blue?
As a Weasley, Percy couldn't possibly be a Death Eater. Scrimgeour certainly knew this too, but he didn't hesitate at all, arresting Percy immediately after hearing his words.
Wait, what did Percy say earlier?
Silen thought about it carefully for a moment... He remembered that Percy said he was there to referee the Triwizard Tournament on behalf of Barty Crouch.
Oh, right, Barty Crouch!
Scrimgeour changed his attitude after hearing this name, and he even inquired about Percy's relationship with Crouch. After receiving an affirmative answer, he immediately took action to arrest him.
Xiren felt he had grasped some clues.
It must have been Crouch... or rather, something was done by Barty Crouch Jr., who was impersonating him.
But what's the matter?
He could only be certain of two things now. First, Barty Crouch Jr. hadn't been to Hogwarts today... at least not before the start of the third project.
Furthermore, the Goblet of Fire has not been tampered with, and its target is not the Triwizard Tournament or Harry.
Xilun looked up somewhat irritably. On the enchanted ceiling, dark clouds, seemingly appearing out of nowhere, obscured the twinkling starry sky.
He suddenly thought of Rita Skeeter, who had been investigating Barty Crouch and might know something.
Thinking of this, Xilun suddenly stood up and walked out of the auditorium.
"where are you going?"
Hermione asked from behind.
“Owl shed!” Siron said without turning his head.
