Hogwarts: Don't call me Wandmaker

Chapter 301 The Weasley Brothers' Credibility

Chapter 301 The Weasley Brothers' Credibility
"Welcome, child."

Upon his return, Mr. Weasley noticed Hillon and immediately broke into a warm smile.

"You really should have come to visit sooner."

“That’s what Mrs. Weasley just said too,” Celen said with a smile.

“It seems we’re on the same page,” Mr. Weasley said.

"Would you like me to show you around?" Fred asked.

“Of course, if it’s convenient.” Xiren nodded.

“There’s nothing inconvenient about it,” George said.

Then the two led Xilun to each room.

"This is the restaurant, it might be a bit small, we usually eat in the courtyard when there are a lot of people."

"The study is on the second floor, but it's Percy's room now."

"He forbade us to come near..."

As we were talking, a head suddenly popped out from the side, and upon closer inspection, you could see that the head was wearing a pair of horn-rimmed glasses.

"Could you please keep your voices down? I'm working on a very important plan and need quiet."

“An important plan?” Fred clicked his tongue. “Are you referring to that report on the thickness of the crucible bottom?”

"It's still the moisture from the dragon dung..."

“That’s really important,” Fred said sarcastically.

"It's not dragon dung!" Percy's expression changed slightly, but he still shouted, "It's a fertilizer sample that someone sent to use on mandrakes, and it's very important!"

“Oh, I see…” George said, drawing out the last syllable.

It wasn't until the three of them went upstairs that he leaned close to Xilun's ear and whispered, "That piece of dragon dung was actually sent to him by us."

He insisted that it was a fertilizer sample.

"We've been researching this for days..."

"I just can't bear to throw it away!"

Seeing the gloating expressions on their faces, Xiren gave them a thumbs up again and praised, "You guys are really brothers, that's why you weren't killed by Percy."

The two smiled, but surprisingly did not refute it.

They just couldn't stand Percy's pretentious manner, but they didn't deny his abilities.

A Hogwarts prefect, president of the boys' student council, and an outstanding graduate who has earned the most NEWT certificates (twelve in total) – that's something not just anyone can do.

Percy might not be able to beat Bill and Charlie, but he could handle them.

However, just as Siron said, they are brothers. Percy would not only never actually do anything, but even if he had the idea, they would immediately go to Mrs. Weasley to complain.

“Our room is upstairs, come on in,” George said.

The three continued upstairs and arrived at the twins' room on the third floor.

The room wasn't big, but it wasn't as crowded as Xilun had imagined.

“You can stay here.” Fred waved his wand, turning a table into a bed.

It's a bit rudimentary; there's not even a mat on it, so it looks uncomfortable.

However, neither Fred nor George paid attention to this; they were more concerned about something else.

They were very excited from the moment they entered the room. George even locked the door before dragging out a box and a thick stack of parchment from under the bed.

"Come here, Xilun, we've got something good to show you."

These are all orders from Weasley's Wizarding Tricks. Through their unremitting efforts over the past few years, Weasley's Wizarding Tricks has gained a certain degree of fame at Hogwarts.

More importantly, their items are much cheaper than Joko's, so recently more and more people have been buying joke props from them. The two have had to speed up the process of fulfilling orders during their holiday.

Although they were a bit busy, it was clear that they were very satisfied.

At noon, Mrs. Weasley prepared a sumptuous lunch.

To be honest, the taste was really great, almost as good as the food that Kreacher could make with all his might.

But Mrs. Weasley said that time was a bit tight, so she just made a quick meal and that the real feast would be served in the evening when everyone was there.

Xilun is quite looking forward to it.

Not long after lunch ended, more people arrived.

This time it was Hermione; Mr. Granger drove her here.

Mr. Weasley was delighted and chatted with Hermione's father like an old friend.

He had always been interested in Muggle things, and Mr. Granger was probably the only Muggle who was willing to chat with him and answer every single one of his questions seriously.

Mr. Weasley wanted to invite him to stay as a guest, but Mr. Granger said he had other things to do later.

As a dentist, his schedule is almost always full.
He had already canceled two appointments to get Hermione here, and he really couldn't cancel any more.

Mr. Weasley felt a wave of disappointment upon hearing his answer.

Hermione was equally surprised to see Siron in the Burrow.

"I thought you weren't interested in Quidditch and definitely wouldn't come."

“Well, I’m interested, just not as much as others,” Xilun said. “And we happen to have tickets, it would be a shame not to come and see.”

In the afternoon, they played a special goblin-hunting game in the garden for a while.

They originally wanted to play Quidditch a little longer, and luckily, Siren also had brooms, so they could split into two teams.

But after about ten minutes, everyone agreed that Xilun's broom was too slow, and since they didn't have a spare, they had to give up.

"That's strange. I remember using a Comet 260 when I was in school, and it wasn't this slow." Charlie rubbed his chin. "Could I be remembering wrong?"

"Maybe... it's been sitting there for too long," Xilun said vaguely.

In reality, the reason why Xilun's broom is so slow is just a normal reaction after the modification.

The runes on the wand and the flying broom are conflicting, so it's good enough that it can still fly. As for the speed... well, Xilun thinks it's just right right now; any faster and it would be hard to control.

The group played a game of fighting goblins for a while longer, and around five o'clock, Mr. Weasley came out of the room.

Upon seeing him, Fred and George did not hesitate and immediately rushed over.

"dad……"

"Are you going to pick up Harry now?"

The two asked the question almost simultaneously.

“That’s right.” Mr. Weasley nodded. “The agreed time was five o’clock in the afternoon, and we’re almost there.”

"Can we come with you?" George asked hopefully. "We promise to behave and not cause any trouble."

Actually, it would have been better if he hadn't said that. After he did, Mr. Weasley immediately became hesitant.

Perhaps no one knows his two sons better than him.

To put it simply, if you want them to behave themselves and not cause trouble, you might as well hope that England can win the Quidditch World Cup.

Although this idea is somewhat far-fetched, it still has a certain chance of success.
