Hogwarts: Don't call me Wandmaker

Chapter 235: Lupin was shocked all day long.
Soon, it was Hogsmeade Week again, which everyone was looking forward to. This time, because Siron had to write a paper, he didn't go with the others. He just gave Ron a Galleon and asked him to bring back a few bottles of Butterbeer for him when he came back.

The book Hermione gave him yesterday gave Celen a completely new idea, and he must write it all down as soon as possible.

Then Celen stayed in the library for half a day until noon before he got up to have lunch.

But before that, he had to go see Professor McGonagall and have her review his writing to see if it was reasonable.

However, as soon as he got upstairs, he encountered two unexpected people... Snape and Harry.

As the two of them walked downstairs one after the other, Snape snorted and walked straight past Sirens who was walking towards him.

Harry kept giving him winks.

Although Siren didn't understand, he could guess what he meant. Needless to say, he must have been caught by Snape for violating school rules.

"Hurry up, Potter!" Snape said. "Don't expect anyone to come to your rescue."

The two disappeared around the corner of the stairs.

At this moment, Siren also began to ponder the meaning behind Harry's wink earlier... it was nothing more than helping him save him or something like that.

Isn't Harry giving him a bit too much credit? That's Snape, what can he do, give him another one?
However, it is not completely impossible.

Celen first went to Professor McGonagall's office, handed her the first draft of his paper for her to check, and while she was staring at the parchment, he made up an excuse to leave the office.

Then Xilun turned two corners and knocked on the door of another office on the same floor.

"Who is it!" came Lu Ping's tense voice from inside.

“It’s me, Professor Lupin,” Siron said. “Do you have time now?”

Finding Lupin was the solution Xilun came up with.

At Hogwarts, only professors could persuade Snape to let Harry go, but other professors wouldn't bother with such a trivial matter, except for Lupin.

He was a close friend of Harry's father, James Potter, and knew very well how much Snape hated Harry, so he would definitely help him.

A few minutes later, the door was opened from the inside, and a haggard-looking Lu Ping cautiously peeked out.

“Mr. Ollivander,” he said, “I’m sorry, I’m not feeling well right now. If there’s anything you need, could we talk about it on Monday when class starts?”

“It’s not my business, it’s Harry,” Siron said. “I just saw him being led to the underground classroom by Professor Snape, looking quite panicked.”

"Boom!"

A sudden noise came from the office, and Xilun subconsciously turned his head to the side.

Unexpectedly, this simple action startled Lu Ping, whose face turned pale. He quickly stepped aside to block Xilun's view.

"Do you know why?" he tried to change the subject.

“I don’t know,” Siron said. “But Professor Snape has never really liked Harry, and I was worried he might make a big deal out of it. Luckily, the Defense Against the Dark Arts office is the closest to me, so I came to find you.”

“Ah, okay, thank you… um, I’ll go find Severus,” Lupin said, his words becoming somewhat incoherent, perhaps due to nervousness.

Seeing his expression, Xilun's expression shifted slightly.

If he wasn't mistaken, Sirius should be in the office right in front of him right now, and the noise he just heard was probably from him. That's why Lupin had been blocking his view of what was happening inside.

Furthermore, he probably doesn't know that he had already met Sirius Black... or maybe he just hadn't had a chance to tell him yet?
Lupin closed the office door again, and then a faint sound came from inside.

However, the professor's office was well soundproofed, and Xilun, who was outside, could only vaguely hear something, but had no idea what was said.

A few minutes later, Professor Lupin came out. He had changed into a more presentable robe (with fewer patches), carefully locked the door, and then walked downstairs with Siron. "Where did you meet them?" Professor Lupin asked.

“It’s probably on the third floor,” Siren said. “I remember there was a statue of a hunchbacked witch in the corridor next door.”

Lupin paused slightly before continuing downstairs.

The movable staircases had all been moved to their correct positions in advance, and the two quickly arrived at the first-floor lobby, the entrance to the underground classroom.

Snape didn't seem to have closed his office door, because even here, Sirius could hear his voice clearly.

“Tell me, Potter, why Malfoy saw your head in Hogsmeade… Your head cannot enter Hogsmeade, nor can any part of your body.”

Then came Harry's voice, but it was much softer than Snape's, and nothing could be heard here.

Professor Lu Ping sighed, but his expression remained unchanged, as if he had already guessed the reason.

“Mr. Ollivander, you…” He was about to say something, but just then, Snape’s voice came from the underground classroom again.

“Okay, everyone is trying to protect Harry Potter from Sirius Black… but what does the famous Harry Potter do? He goes wherever he wants without considering the consequences.”

Lupin's expression changed slightly.

“Mr. Ollivander, I suggest you wait here,” he said. “Perhaps you could go to the auditorium for lunch first; I can already smell the fried pork chops.”

“That’s a good idea,” Siron said. He didn’t want to go to the underground classroom anyway, so he wouldn’t have to let Snape take his anger out on him.

Lupin turned to walk towards the underground classroom.

“Wait a minute, Professor Lupin,” Siren called out to him.

"What's wrong?" Lu Ping turned around.

“Is that so?” Siren stepped forward quickly and lowered his voice, “I think you and Bigfoot could have chosen a more secluded place when you were discussing things. The Screaming Shack would have been fine; there was really no need for Hogwarts Castle.”

“Especially since the place you’re staying in is on the same floor as the Transformation Department’s office.”

Lupin's face turned deathly pale instantly as he stared at Xilun in disbelief.

"You, you... what are you talking about?" He tried to remain calm. "What big foot... you must be seeing things."

"Maybe, but that's not important. Just tell Bigfoot what you just said, tell him there are faster ways to die, and there's no need to challenge Professor McGonagall's eyesight."

"In fact, it was my idea to send him to find you, including giving him that Marauder's Map," Siren said.

"Huh? What did you just say?" Lu Ping felt like his brain had gone blank.

“Because I don’t think he’s suited to using his brain, just like how he showed up at Hogwarts Castle today,” Celen said. “Professor, do you know what Bigfoot’s original plan was?”

"What?" Lu Ping's mind was in complete disarray, and he asked instinctively.

"Steal a student's password, break into the Gryffindor dormitory in the middle of the night, and forcibly kill the rat."

Lupin felt a sudden darkness before his eyes, and he managed to grab onto a nearby cabinet to avoid falling.

Stealing passwords, breaking into dorm rooms... these are indeed things Sirius Black would do.

“Oh, and most importantly,” Celen continued, “I’ll go see Professor McGonagall after lunch. She’ll be in her office then, so Bigfoot can leave during that time. As for the rest of the time, it’s best not to let him leave his office.”
