Chapter 454 Separation and Chance Encounter

Chapter 454 Separation and Chance Encounter

"That must taste delicious."

Suddenly, Mahama spoke up from the side, puffing out his cheeks and looking at the rat boss in the distance.

Seeing Luger looking at him curiously, Mahama added, "I just saw it drool from the corner of its mouth, then swallow it back, so it must be a very good dish."

After finishing his sentence, the big guy shrugged and then turned back to continue enjoying the food on the table.

The deliciousness of these dishes comes partly from the culinary skills, partly from the novelty they've never seen before, and partly from the owner's dedication.

This creates a wonderful experience.

As Ruger enjoyed the soup he had ordered, he glanced at the wizard Zorn sitting opposite him.

“Lord Zorn, have you considered taking it with you? Like you did before?” Ruger said, glancing at Zorn’s chest hair.

Zorn the wizard ate elegantly, smiled slightly upon hearing this, and glanced at Ruger.

“If you haven’t succeeded, how can I? Even a predetermined death can’t frighten it. Only what it likes and is interested in can make it leave…” Zorn smiled, as if he had seen through all of his little tricks over the past few days.

After the meal, none of them got up to return to their rooms to rest.

The big rat began tidying up the tableware and then started fiddling with its menu behind the counter.

Just when Luger thought it had forgotten about them, the mouse suddenly put down the wooden stick pen it was holding and came to them.

"Distinguished guests, now is the best time to go to the royal land. Please follow me."

After saying that, the mouse turned around and walked away.

Luger watched as it tilted its head from time to time, seemingly still thinking about new dishes and delighted with the increasingly perfect menu.

Following Zorn's movements, the group hurriedly got up and followed.

The big rat wriggled its fat body and led them into a long tunnel.

The tunnel looked exactly like the corridor outside their rooms, and it really did look like something the owner had casually dug out to expand the hotel, just as he had said, and it was actually part of a large expansion plan.

The mouse hummed a song and wriggled its body as it walked ahead, as if it had come up with another good idea.

"Don't worry, guests, we've already gone halfway, and the road ahead is very smooth," the mouse reassured them.

Luger and the others were in no hurry; they were simply observing Zorn's reaction.

As long as this wizard remains carefree, then nothing will be a problem.

“Those guests before seemed to be in a hurry. They only stayed one night and kept urging me on as I walked here. But they were good guests for me,” the mouse said. “They are a lot like you, wearing robes and always looking at one person.”

Ruger raised an eyebrow; it sounded like a wizard leading a group of young people.

That's quite normal, after all, it's a broken fairy kingdom.

Moreover, on this endless sea, there won't be only one wizard, Zorn, who has some involvement in spatial power.

Looking at the small wooden door that seemed to be in the distance, Valin was somewhat excited.

Unlike Luger and the others, besides her concern for the wizard Gillian, she also felt a sense of self-blame. Even though Zorn had tried to comfort her with his own deductions, she still felt guilty. It was Gillian who had failed to suppress the discordant power in order to save her, and it was her contract that had been exploited by the fairies, causing Gillian, who could not suppress the discordant power, to agree to the marriage.

However, Ruger thought it was a good thing. If simple guidance could make her let go of her self-blame, then that person would be difficult to get along with.

The door hinges creaked open.

The exquisite wooden door was pushed open, revealing a sloping earthen mound outside, where the door seemed to lie leisurely.

The noise seemed to displease the mouse, which was still turning back to repair the door hinges while Ruger and his group had already stepped outside.

The landscape before us was still a jungle, seemingly an abandoned village.

Zorn continued walking along the road without stopping. Ruger followed behind, and after walking a while, he couldn't help but look back.

The rat boss was waving his hand, still holding the novel he had given him.

"With the fairy kingdom completely shattered, will all the fairies inside die?" Ruger said softly.

Valin looked at him, opened her mouth but before she could utter a sound, the voice of the wizard Zorn came from in front of her.

"The Fairy Kingdom was born because of the Fairy King, but it was shaped by the fairies living within it. Although the Fairy King has the greatest influence, the numerous little fairies naturally resonate with the kingdom. Their existence makes the Fairy Kingdom full of vitality and subtly changes it. They are part of the kingdom, and will naturally die with the kingdom, or even die before it..." Zorn said slowly as he walked.

"What about yours? The fairy you took away before?" Ruger asked curiously.

The group gradually entered the fairy town, which remained deathly silent. Perhaps, as Zorn had said, the fairies here had already died.

"Of course it'll be fine. It's been tainted by the aura of demons and taken into my demon lair. It has also agreed to leave this kingdom, and its heart is no longer purely connected to this fairy kingdom," Zorn said casually.

Tall trees gradually appeared ahead, with strangely shaped treehouses on them.

A peculiar fairy town, where crooked little mushrooms under trees are small houses, tree holes are large houses, and treehouses are built high up. The houses vary greatly in size, seemingly chaotic yet extremely harmoniously forming a vast town.

It's like that little mushroom growing on the side of your door frame, like your neighbor's; it looks quite peculiar.

However, as they ventured deeper into the area, they did not see a single demon.

As Ruger observed his surroundings, he continued to ponder his spell.

He felt that success was not far away.

The in-depth research at the last minute has yielded some results, and it seems that success is just a little bit away.

Of course, this is only the first working version, and there will inevitably be changes later.

The wizard Zorn suddenly stopped and looked at a huge tree hole.

After observing for a moment, he led the three of them inside without saying a word.

Stepping inside, you enter a long tunnel, as if you were inside a thick tree trunk.

Luger looked around, his fingers twirling beside him as if he were calculating. He was already distracted, trying to construct a model of a spell. He had been following behind unconsciously, and it was only when he suddenly entered the tree hole that he came back to his senses.

When the group emerged from the tree hollow, they finally saw the so-called royal land, the residence of the Fairy King.

“This is simply a mushroom world,” Mahama exclaimed.

The towering mushrooms have replaced the trees, forming a mushroom forest, with some as large as dozens of mahamas.

The huge mushroom caps covered the area even more completely, making the mushroom forest appear somewhat dark, but fortunately, the spots on some of the mushrooms glowed on their own.

Ruger followed behind, occasionally frowning and sometimes smiling.

This drew frequent glances from Mahamat, who was standing nearby.

After calming down for a while, Luger smiled again. He turned to look at Mahama, knowing full well that the guy was secretly watching him.

"You've made a discovery?" Mahama whispered.

Luger smiled and opened his arms, intending to give a simple demonstration, but then looked seriously into the distance, into the dark, seemingly invisible depths of the mushroom forest.

Soon even Mahama sensed the magical fluctuations.

But the wizard Zorn did not stop and continued to walk straight ahead.

Ruger was puzzled because he could tell from the fluctuations in magic and mental energy that someone was using this place to advance to a formal wizard. Their barging in like this was a very impolite and provocative act, and he didn't think that Wizard Zorn would be unaware of what was happening over there.
