Second, the story's readability is somewhat volatile. From the perspective of the current market, this genre feels a bit like a throwback. Whether it's gangster fiction or ancient martial arts, both are relatively early in their careers. Because the story's pace is slow, the readability is delayed for a long time during the protagonist's boxing practice, and the overly detailed narrative nearly made it difficult for me to continue. However, once the protagonist achieves some success, aided by the shadow, his combat prowess instantly surpasses that of an ordinary person, and the thrilling moment begins. The subsequent reading becomes much smoother.

Third, the characters are well-developed. Whether it's the protagonist Chen Chuan's determination after accepting his time-traveling identity or his perseverance and goal in practicing martial arts, the characters' overall images are portrayed with remarkable clarity. The behavior of his uncle's family, the concern of his friends, the ridicule of his classmates, the condescending gaze of the nobles, and even the actions of some of the villains all have clear, prominent points that leave a lasting impression. Fourth, the subject matter is challenging for the readership. This is primarily because his writing is quite rigorous, which may seem a bit rigid and old-fashioned to younger readers, lacking in unique gags or jokes, and lacking in modernity. Veteran readers should find it easier to accept, provided they tolerate his sudden shifts in style. New readers may need some time to adjust and savor this serious writing.

The more obvious disadvantage is that it is long, slow-paced, has a lot of foreshadowing, and the text needs to be chewed. Especially for those who are used to reading fast-paced and exciting novels, they need to be a little cautious when entering the pit.
