Chapter 91 Remarks on the launch

After finishing Mech Storm, I rested for about a month and started thinking about my new book. Over the years, my writing style has always been that of a passionate young man, constantly fighting. I am truly grateful for everyone's understanding!
The new book didn't start smoothly. I wrote more than a dozen beginnings in the first four months, totaling hundreds of thousands of words. However, my writing style didn't change, and I lacked any innovation. I slapped myself and deleted them all. That's how this book came about. One day, after writing for a month, I suddenly realized that the protagonist was still showing off in two storylines. It was the same old story with a different name. I slapped myself again and deleted it.

I've been writing about skeletons for over twenty years now, and I don't know how much longer I can continue. I used to think that writing is a profession where the older you get, the better, and that it has an advantage over other professions. But it's actually a profession that relies on physical strength and youth. Many years ago, during the later stages of the Battle Frenzy, I suddenly fainted and lost consciousness and was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment. Since then, my physical condition has deteriorated significantly. I feel dizzy from time to time when I bend over, and I'm always half asleep. I've consulted many doctors, but nothing has helped, so I've slowly accepted reality. Since then, the intervals between each book have become longer. In fact, I start preparing for a new book every one or two months at most, but I write slowly. This is my own problem. Preparing more in advance is the best way I can think of to ensure the continuity of reading for everyone.

After reflecting for a few days, I calmed down and reorganized the plot. There was a huge gap between the idea and the implementation. The fast pace was very enjoyable. I used familiar techniques and routines and just kept showing off. Sometimes I didn't even need to use my brain and could rely on instinct. The new writing style was too difficult. It required a lot of thought and time to build the world and sort out the logic. I had to constantly polish and revise it. I recorded hundreds of memos on my phone and finally came up with the first volume, "One Person, One City".

I had never written anything like this before. It was really enjoyable at the time, and it solidified my belief in this writing style. I wanted to bring everyone a story that was thoughtful, insightful, and memorable.

There are dozens of hidden paths among the gods, searching for a new way out amidst the transition between the old and new eras. It's not the kind of overt show-off that used to be; instead, the truth will be gradually revealed, and every character in the story has the potential for a reversal.

The protagonist needs to gain and lose something to become a god. Each volume will explain a core concept and the power of order represented by that core.

Enjoyment is fundamental; I won't forget that.

I really hope and expect everyone to have a little patience to finish reading the first volume. The characters and foreshadowing set up in the early stages will all be revealed at the end of the volume, and the following volumes will follow the same pace, increasing layer by layer. Any shortcomings will be continuously improved based on everyone's feedback.
