Chapter 220 Six Strikes Per Second Isn't Tony's Limit; Asgardian Brothers Sell Themselves Online
Tony gripped the scepter and slammed it down on Loki's buttocks once more, delivering a loving blow.
Loki finally couldn't hold back any longer; veins bulged on his neck, and he turned to Thor, roaring:
"Look what you've done! If it weren't for you, you idiot, would I have been humiliated like this by Earth's bugs?"
He grew angrier the more he thought about it, feeling that his beating was entirely due to his foolish older brother.
Otherwise, even if they were subjected to severe torture, they wouldn't have suffered such humiliation.
Thor was stunned, his face filled with disbelief.
Why does my younger brother hate me?
Who did I offend?
It was Tony who spanked him!
"Loki, you..."
Before he could even defend himself, he was drowned out by Loki's even sharper insults.
They even revealed all of his dark history from birth to the present.
Instead of remembering this dark history of the Asgardian prince, Tony grabbed Loki's hair and shoved his face into the sand.
"Tell me, where exactly is the Cosmic Cube hidden?"
"If you don't tell me, I'll make your ass bleed."
Loki struggled to lift his head, blood and foam at the corner of his mouth, his eyes filled with mockery:
"Just you?"
"Ignorant Earthlings, do you think you can subdue me with violence?"
"Even if I, Loki, am torn to pieces, I will not utter a single word."
"Just wait, I'll get my money back with interest sooner or later."
Tony sneered, "Still pretty stubborn."
He unleashed a barrage of attacks with his scepter, raining down upon the enemy.
Six strikes per second isn't Tony's limit; he's just afraid of killing Loki, the hostage.
Loki's muffled groans echoed through the night sky.
Just then, Roger suddenly spoke up: "Alright, enough of this wailing and howling in the middle of the night, it's disturbing the peace."
"Let me see where he hid the Space Stone?"
The next moment, Roger's eyes turned completely white.
This startled Tony.
What kind of magic is this?
Before he could think it through, Roger said, "Found it."
He raised his hand and waved it, and a wormhole glowing with blue light slowly unfolded in front of everyone.
Through the wormhole, one can see a laboratory filled with sophisticated instruments, where Dr. Eric is operating the equipment with a blank stare.
Loki's face turned deathly pale instantly, and a hint of panic flashed in his eyes.
He struggled to get up, but was held down firmly by an invisible force.
"Is this magic?"
Tony stared at the wormhole, his face full of curiosity.
Roger glanced at him and said in a flat tone, "This is technology."
"Come on."
Tony scoffed, "I study high technology; what you're doing is clearly magic."
Roger had no interest in explaining and waved his hand dismissively: "Believe it or not, trolls, get lost."
Tony didn't say much, and went straight through the wormhole into the laboratory.
Dr. Eric mechanically turned his head, his eyes cloudy and empty. Before he could react, Tony knocked him unconscious.
Unfortunately, Dr. Erik is not Magneto and cannot control magnetism.
Otherwise, Tony would just be a tin can to be toyed with at will in his eyes.
"I'm sorry, Doctor."
Tony muttered as he walked toward the control panel, his eyes eagerly searching for the Tesseract.
Just as Tony found the Tesseract and was about to reach out and touch it.
Roger waved his hand from a distance, and the Cosmic Cube instantly detached from the control panel and flew straight into his hand.
Tony quickly looked over.
A shocking scene happened.
The Rubik's Cube's surface cracked like glass, and blue light shot out from the cracks. The Cosmic Cube had broken.
"What's going on?!"
Tony was completely dumbfounded.
Immediately afterwards, a gem emitting blue light slowly rose from the shattered Rubik's Cube and hovered in Roger's palm.
Roger toyed with the gem and chuckled, "Didn't I already say that?"
"The Tesseract is just a container; this is the real Space Stone."
Tony stared at the Space Stone, his Adam's apple bobbing. "Shouldn't this thing be returned to its rightful owner, S.H.I.E.L.D.?"
"Return it to H.I.E.L.D."
Roger interrupted with a cold laugh, as if he had heard the biggest joke in the world.
"Egghead can't even tell if there's a mole in his own office now, and you want to give this thing to Hydra?"
At this point, Roger pointed to Thor, who was still struggling against gravity.
"Besides, the Tesseract was originally an Asgardian family heirloom, and that big oaf's father was the previous owner of the Tesseract."
"But now, the Space Stone is mine."
"You'll have to buy a ticket to visit in the future."
Tony looked at Roger hesitantly, then glanced at Thor and Loki, who were trapped.
He opened his mouth, as if he wanted to say something more.
"Alright, Mr. Stark, stop being a free babysitter for H.I.E.L.D."
Roger waved his hand impatiently, as if shooing away a fly: "Take your shiny tin can and get the hell out of here."
"With the Space Stone in my hands, at least I don't have to worry about aliens coming to Earth and causing trouble."
Tony opened his mouth, but swallowed his words of rebuttal.
Indeed, S.H.I.E.L.D. is in complete chaos right now.
Given S.H.I.E.L.D.'s current situation, handing the Tesseract over to them is definitely not safe; it might just become Hydra's new toy.
Moreover, he had to admit that Roger's demonstrated power was indeed enough to protect the Cosmic Cube.
"Okay, you're so cruel!"
Tony closed his armor mask again, activated the thrusters, and took off.
The trailing flames of the Iron Man suit illuminated the night sky before quickly disappearing into the distance.
Roger's gaze swept over Thor and Loki, the two brothers who were locked in a love-hate relationship.
Thor noticed Roger's gaze, and despite being pressed down, he grimaced and shouted, "Earthling, let me go!"
“I must take my brother back to Asgard for trial.”
Roger smiled and said, "Of course."
"But we need to sign a small agreement first."
He snapped his fingers, and Thor immediately felt the gravity on his body disappear.
Just then, Gwen, wrapped in a bathrobe, rubbed her eyes and walked out of the villa, carrying two indentures bearing the logo of the Vought Corporation.
With each step, one could vaguely see the slender waist and rounded hips outlined by the robe.
Thor grabbed the contract and glanced at it. His brow furrowed as he looked at the unfair terms.
Even though he was a bit dim-witted, he could still see the ill intent behind these terms.
This isn't a contract.
It's clearly a contract of servitude.
Even recruiting slaves wasn't done like this.
Thinking of this, Thor glanced at his good brother Loki, and signed his name with a flourish.
Then Thor grabbed his brother's wrist and, ignoring the brother's angry glare, forced his handprint onto his wrist.
She not only sold herself, but also her younger brother.
Of course, Thor had his reasons.
So what if we sign? Can Earth's laws really apply to Asgard?
Roger happily put away the contract, looking at the two men with satisfaction, as if he were examining two money-making tools.
"Don't even think about reneging on your promise. Even if you hide at the ends of the universe, I will find you."
After saying that, Roger ignored his two good friends, put his arm around Gwen, and turned to leave.
Thor was left behind, laughing foolishly, while Loki was left speechless with despair.
