Dragon Ball Arrives in Marvel
Chapter 548 Aether Particles
Chapter 548 Aether Particles
The therapist spoke up again:
"Please do not move."
Jane lowered her arm and said with a smile:
"Sol, maybe I can protect you in the future."
Thor looked at Jane with affection and said:
"I don't care whether you become a female warrior or not, as long as you are safe and sound."
Jane smiled blankly, then looked at the orange image of her own body in front of her and asked curiously:
"This is a quantum field generator, right?"
The therapist explained as they performed the procedure:
"This is a soul refining furnace."
Jane continued to ask:
Can the Soul Refining Furnace migrate molecular energy?
The therapist glanced at Jane with surprise, then nodded and said, "Yes."
Jane looked at Saul excitedly and said:
"This is a quantum generator."
Thor looked at Jane and gave her another indulgent smile.
At this moment, Odin, who had arrived at the treatment room, spoke:
"Are my words just passing by in your ears?"
Thor turned and saw Odin walking towards him, then explained to his father:
"She's sick."
Odin didn't care whether Jane was sick or not, and instead said:
"She is human; they all get sick."
Odin then waved his hand, and all the healers surrounding Jane left, standing against the wall.
Thor continued, "..."
“I brought her here because we can save him.”
Odin walked in and looked at Thor, saying:
"She does not belong to Asgard, just as goat meat is not fit for a banquet."
Upon hearing this, Jane sat up angrily and looked at Saul, saying, "What did he just say...?"
He then looked at Odin, who had walked to the side, and said, "Who do you think you are?"
When he saw Jane open her mouth to directly confront Odin, Smith almost burst out laughing.
Who is this? This is your future father-in-law.
You become the female Thor, and after you die, you enter Valhalla and are under her control.
Odin looked at Jane and said:
"I am Odin, King of Asgard, Protector of the Nine Kingdoms."
Upon hearing this, Jian was about to introduce herself:
"I am···"
However, before she could finish speaking, Odin interrupted her:
“I know exactly who you are, Jane Foster.”
Jane looked at Smith, who was standing next to Saul, and said:
"And what about him?"
Jane clearly didn't understand; Smith was also an Earthling, so why didn't the other party treat her so badly?
Odin glanced at Smith Doyle, whom he had seen as soon as he entered.
Odin glanced at Jane Foster and smiled dismissively. You dare to compare yourself to Smith Doyle?
Odin carefully examined Smith Doyle, who had made no attempt to conceal his aura since arriving in Asgard, displaying a normal combat strength of three million.
"Your growth has exceeded my expectations. The speed is too fast. It seems like you have no bottlenecks."
Smith Doyle smiled and said:
"There are still bottlenecks, but we haven't encountered them yet."
Odin laughed when he heard this:
"Haha, no wonder the Ancient One thought so highly of you."
"Your growth rate is far behind Thor's." "Later, go to my treasury and pick out something you like as a gift to celebrate your improvement."
Smith Doyle naturally did not refuse Odin's generosity. He had come to save Frigga's life, and he could afford to accept one of Odin's treasures in return.
"Then thank you, God-King."
Odin then looked at Jane Foster and said:
"How could you, a mere mortal, possibly compare to him? You're utterly absurd."
"What a waste that you went to watch the Dragon Ball battles, you have no eyesight at all."
Jane didn't quite understand. No matter how powerful Smith Doyle was, wasn't he still a human being?
We're all Earthlings, so why is the treatment so unequal?
Upon hearing Odin's words, Smith looked at Thor, shrugged, and smiled.
Thor quickly spoke up:
“There is something in her body, Father.”
"A substance I've never seen before."
"Smith Doyle also said that the power was very strong, and the energy it emitted just from residing in Jane's body exceeded 2.2 combat power."
"Smith even judged that if Jane could fully utilize that power, it would be enough to destroy a planet."
Odin looked at Smith Doyle with surprise. He had heard Heimdall mention Earth's combat power rating before. 2.2 was not weak at all, and she was qualified to be his daughter-in-law, but only if she could utilize that power.
Smith Doyle nodded as he saw the look in Odin's eyes.
Seeing this, Odin stepped forward and reached out to examine Jane's arm, while red energy flowed through Jane's veins.
"This is impossible."
The therapist standing nearby spoke up:
"The thing she was infected with is protecting her."
"Do not."
Upon hearing Odin's denial, Thor said, "It's protecting itself."
Odin turned to look at Smith, trying to see if the other knew anything, but he couldn't see anything. At the same time, he knew that Smith Doyle was right. If it could be used, it would be enough to destroy a planet. But was Jane capable of using it?
There was absolutely no chance they would be blown apart by this energy; they were lucky to be alive right now. He immediately spoke up:
"follow me."
Smith, Thor, and Jane followed Odin to his library.
Odin said as he walked:
"Some things have histories that can be traced back to before the formation of the universe."
"The thing inside her is such an ancient artifact."
Smith looked up at the top of the library, which seemed to be the World Tree.
Then a huge tree rose from the ground, with nine star clusters of different shapes hanging above it, much like the Nine Realms.
Smith was curious whether this tree was just a replica, or if this place was originally part of the World Tree.
Odin continued his explanation:
"The Nine Kingdoms are not eternal; they have the dawn of birth and the twilight of their demise."
Odin then explained to everyone the Dark Elves and the Aether particles they controlled.
Seeing that Smith's gaze was fixed on the view above, he asked:
"Have you heard the stories of the Dark Elves?"
Smith shook his head:
"I'm more curious about what's above my head."
Odin gave Smith a deep look, then continued:
“That’s a branch of the World Tree; it doesn’t belong in the treasure room.”
Saul then asked his question:
"Are you sure? Legend has it that the Aether particles were destroyed along with them."
"But now it has reappeared."
Odin looked at Thor and said, "The Dark Elves are extinct."
Looking at Odin's serious face, Smith wondered if Odin really didn't know that the Dark Elves still had remnants or if he was pretending not to know.
Jane then asked the question that concerned her most:
"Does the book mention how to remove it from my body?"
