Chapter 534 The Excited Duo

Inside the coffee shop, Skye, dressed up, sat by the window, looking across the street at the Assassin's Guild headquarters and the guards at the entrance.

She wanted to see her idol, Smith Doyle, and wondered if she would ever have the chance to meet him. As for her pickup truck, it was in an alley on the next street.

Just as Skye was fantasizing about whether she would have a beautiful encounter with Smith Doyle, Ward and Coulson walked into the coffee shop.

Ward glanced at Skye, who was staring at him like a lovesick fool, and at the entrance to the Assassin's Guild headquarters, and muttered:

"So you not only staked out Tony Stark outside Stark Tower, but now you're staking out Smith Doyle too?"

Ward's voice pulled Skye's thoughts back to the time limit, and Coulson, standing beside her, joked:
"Ward, we should understand that young girls are in love."

Skye looked at Coulson and Ward who had appeared before her, her mind drifting to the videos she had sent out, but she still calmly said:
"What a coincidence! Want to grab a coffee together?"

Coulson sat down directly opposite Skye and said with a smile:

"Ward, two coffees, Ms. Skye, please."

"I want a cappuccino."

Ward nodded and walked straight to the counter.

Skye said irritably:

"Can you do it?"

Coulson said with a smile:

“Mr. Smith is not only a member of the Avengers, but also the Inspector General of S.H.I.E.L.D. I can report to him and get inside, and even visit him in person.”

Skye's eyes lit up, and she said excitedly:
"Really? Then take me inside for a look around, and let me meet my idol while I'm at it."

Coulson smiled and then said:

Skye asked curiously:

"Help me identify the people involved in the recent surge of the organization who released inflammatory videos in New York."

Skye paused for a moment, then asked:

"Incitement video?"

"what?"

Coulson took out a tablet and placed it in front of Skye. Skye picked up the tablet, opened the videos on it, and watched them one by one. They were the videos she had posted.

"This shouldn't fall under the category of inflammatory content, right? It's stating the facts, isn't it?"

Coulson shook his head and said:

"The biased and malicious speculation is very strong and has had a very bad impact on New York."

At this moment, Ward spoke up:
“Skye, you’ve only been here a short time, and the Tide Organization has already released these videos all over the internet. You didn’t do this, did you?”

Coulson then said:
"If you can help us find the guy who posted the video, I can show you around there."

As he spoke, Coulson pointed to the location of the League of Assassins outside the window, but when everyone looked over, they saw Smith Doyle descending from the sky.

Skye exclaimed:
"It's Smith Doyle, my God, the store wasn't lying, this spot really does have a view of God, I even paid an extra $30 for the window seat."

Ward and Coulson were also taken aback; they were incredibly lucky to actually see Smith Doyle.

Smith Doyle walked into the coffee shop. He had seen Coulson and Ward outside, but Skye, who was sitting there, caught his attention even more, since he had promised to help Jia Ying find her daughter.

Skye watched as Smith Doyle walked into the coffee shop and headed towards his seat, her heart pounding.

However, considering Coulson and Ward beside him, the other party probably wasn't looking for him.

Coulson saw Smith Doyle walking over and immediately greeted him:

"Good afternoon, Mr. Smith."

Ward also said:

"Good afternoon, Attorney General. I am Ward."

Smith Doyle nodded and said:
Good afternoon, both of you.

Then she looked at Skye and said:

"Madam, do you mind if I sit here?"

Skye looked at the seats already filled with Ward and Coulson and said excitedly:

"I don't mind, besides, I'm your idol."

"You are my idol, I admire you the most."

Ward, who was standing nearby, quickly stood up and said:
"Sir, please have a seat here."

"Sir, what would you like to drink? I'll get it for you."

Coulson looked at Ward in surprise. Was this really the Ward I knew?
Smith Doyle smiled:

"Thanks, Agent Ward."

"I won't drink the coffee."

Ward said excitedly:
"Sir, I'm so excited that you know me."

Smith Doyle shrugged Ward on the shoulder and then said:
“I’m a member of Coulson’s team. I’ve seen your team’s files.”

After speaking, Smith Doyle sat down in the spot where Ward had been, while Ward stood to the side like a security guard.
