Chapter 121 The Tragic Master

"Don't forget, Tang San is Yu Xiaogang's personal disciple, and the master and disciple have a deep bond," Zhao Wuji analyzed. "As long as we persuade Tang San to ask Tang Hao for help, given Tang Hao's love for his son, he might agree. Besides, Yu Xiaogang taught Tang San everything he knew, and Tang Hao won't ignore this kindness."

Flander nodded slightly, his expression gradually hardening: "You're right. We need to find Tang San immediately, there's no time to lose! I know the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Clan's methods all too well. Every day we delay, Xiao Gang and Er Long will be in greater danger." He turned to look at the night outside the window, a flame of hope burning in his eyes, "That boy Tang San has always been loyal and righteous, he certainly won't stand idly by."

the other side.

The rain poured down, and the world was shrouded in chaos.

Tang Hao's dark red soul power surged wildly around him, and the Clear Sky Hammer in his hand exuded a heart-palpitating pressure, each swing accompanied by a shrill whistling sound that tore through the air.

Tang San gripped his Clear Sky Hammer tightly, his Blue Silver Emperor Martial Soul rustling in the torrential rain. The father and son's attacks collided in mid-air, unleashing a deafening roar.

"Xiao Wu's soul bone must be removed!" Tang Hao's voice was filled with thunderous fury. "She is a 100,000-year-old soul beast; keeping her soul bone is too dangerous! The Spirit Hall will not let her go!"

"No! I will never let you hurt Xiao Wu!"

Tang San's eyes were bloodshot, rain mingling with tears as they streamed down his cheeks. He unleashed the Chaotic Cloak Hammer Technique, his Clear Sky Hammer transforming into countless afterimages as he attempted to block his father's attack. But Tang Hao's strength was too overwhelming; each collision left his arm numb and his body uncontrollably forced backward.

Just as the father and son were locked in fierce combat, a graceful figure appeared and disappeared in the rain. Xiao Wu stood quietly not far away, her eyes filled with sorrow and determination. Watching the two fighting desperately before her, she could no longer hold back her tears, which streamed down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry, Third Brother," Xiao Wu murmured softly, her voice drowned out by the sound of the downpour.

Tang Hao and Tang San continued their attack, completely oblivious to Xiao Wu's unusual behavior. Suddenly, Xiao Wu took a deep breath, and a soft pink light emanated from her body. Her gaze hardened, and after giving the two fighters one last look, she turned and dashed away into the distance. The pink light traced a dazzling trail in the rain before quickly disappearing.

After an unknown amount of time, the fierce battle finally came to an end.

Tang Hao and Tang San were both exhausted, standing in place, panting heavily. Then, Tang Hao suddenly realized what was happening, a flicker of panic in his eyes: "Where's Xiao Wu?"

Upon hearing this, Tang San's heart clenched. He looked around, but could no longer find that familiar figure. "Xiao Wu! Xiao Wu!" he screamed frantically, his voice filled with fear and despair. The torrential rain lashed his face, but he could no longer distinguish between rain and tears.

Tang Hao's face also turned extremely ugly. He never expected that Xiao Wu would quietly leave while he was fighting Tang San.

The Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex family!
The stench of the dungeon, mixed with the smell of rust, filled his nostrils. Yu Xiaogang huddled on the moldy straw, his robes soaked with cold sweat sticking to his back, each breath causing excruciating pain in his lower body.

Liu Erlong dipped her clothes in water and gently wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. When her fingertips touched his clenched teeth, a suppressed sob rolled in his throat.

"If it hurts, just scream it out..." Her voice was hoarse, as if it had been rubbed with sandpaper. "They've hurt you like this, why do you have to endure it anymore?"

Yu Xiaogang suddenly grabbed her wrist, his knuckles turning bluish-white from the force. A sliver of moonlight pierced through a crack in the dungeon ceiling, shattering into pale fragments in his pupils. "Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus..." Blood seeped from his teeth, each word seeming to be ripped from his throat.

“Yu Yuanzhen…they are not human…they are man-eating beasts…”

Liu Erlong's body trembled violently, her nails digging deeply into her palms. She recalled the sinister smile on Yu Luomian's lips during the execution, the excited malice in the eyes of the clan elders—those faces overlapped with the tear-streaked image of her mother on her deathbed. "I will make them pay the price."

She spoke softly, but her voice held an unprecedented ruthlessness, "Once your injuries have healed, we'll go to Shrek Academy, and then..."

"And then?" Yu Xiaogang suddenly burst into maniacal laughter, shaking the dust off the straw. "You think you can escape just by leaving the dungeon? They broke my spine, crushed my dantian, and now I can't even do the most basic soul power circulation..." He abruptly ripped open the bandage around his waist, revealing a wound stained with pus. "Look at this scar, they pickled it with poison, just to make me remember forever—I am a piece of trash destroyed by my own family!"

Liu Erlong lunged forward and hugged him tightly, pressing his head against her chest. She could feel his body trembling violently, as if it might shatter into dust at any moment.

"Stop talking...stop talking..." she repeated, choking back tears. The dragon scales, piercing her skin with her overwhelming emotions, left fine, bloody scratches on Yu Xiaogang's back. "We still have each other, the Golden Trio is still here, the Shrek kids are still waiting for you..."

"The Golden Triangle?"

Yu Xiaogang raised his head, blood dripping from his chin onto her clothes. "Flander was severely injured while saving us, Zhao Wuji is still unconscious, and I..."

He raised his trembling hand and pointed to the chamber pot in the corner of the dungeon. "Now I can't even feed myself, how can I protect you? With this life that's neither male nor female?"

Liu Erlong suddenly grabbed his hand and placed it against her heart. Her heart pounded like a drum, vibrating through her thin clothes against his palm: "This is you, not some name of the Golden Iron Triangle. Twenty years ago you dared to elope with me, and now you dare to live in this dungeon. Yu Yuanzhen and the others can destroy your body, but they can't destroy what's in your mind—those theories that make the Soul Master world tremble, that knowledge that Shrek Academy students respect, they can never take it away!"

Yu Xiaogang stared at her blankly, the moonlight casting a silvery edge on her disheveled hair.

Her memory suddenly flashed back to a night in the Star Dou Great Forest, before they were hunted down by their families. He leaned against a tree trunk and explained the theory of martial soul evolution to her. She used a twig to draw a soul ring ratio diagram on the ground. Fireflies landed in her hair, like scattered diamonds.

“Erlong…” His voice suddenly softened, like a wounded cub, “I’m so scared… scared that I’ll only be able to watch you fight from now on, scared that you’ll die protecting me, scared that we’ll ultimately not escape their grasp…”

Liu Erlong lowered her head and kissed away the tears at the corner of his eyes, the taste salty and bloody. Her dragon claws quietly dug into the stone wall, the blood seeping from her fingertips drawing a distorted dragon shape on the surface: "Palm? Once you're healed, I'll take you to the Spirit Hall, to the Heaven Dou Imperial Palace, to all the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragons' territories. We'll let the whole continent know that they used the most despicable means to torture an unarmed researcher, using clan rules as a knife to rip out the future of the entire Soul Master world!"

Yu Xiaogang suddenly coughed violently, splattering blood onto Liu Erlong's hand. She hurriedly tried to cover his mouth, but he grabbed her wrist. "Do me a favor."

He gasped for breath, forcing out words through his teeth.

"When I die, leave my body at the entrance of the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Clan's shrine, so they can see whether what they destroyed was just trash... or..."

"shut up!"

Liu Erlong shouted sharply to stop him, her dragon-scale-covered hand slamming heavily against his forehead. "You won't die, and I won't let you die either." She grabbed his chin, forcing him to look directly into her bloodshot eyes. "You have to get out of here alive, watch those old bastards tremble before your martial spirit theory, watch the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Clan's emblem be trampled underfoot!"

The sound of chains dragging on the ground came from deep within the dungeon, and Yu Xiaogang suddenly trembled violently.

Liu Erlong thought it was the pain from his wound, but he saw him staring intently at the crack in the stone above his head, where moonlight was creeping in, igniting a faint blue flame in his eyes.

"Yu Yuanzhen, Yu Luomian..."

His voice was so soft it was almost a whisper, yet every word was clear: "I want your families to pay the most terrible price for what you have done today. With my blood, with my soul, with every last breath I have left—this is my vow, Yu Xiaogang."

Liu Erlong suddenly laughed, a laugh filled with tears, pain, and a burning madness.

She lowered her head and bit his lip, infusing her resolve into the bloody and salty taste. In the distance came the chirping of morning birds, and on the stone wall of the dungeon, the dragon shape drawn with blood was slowly seeping into the cold cracks of the stone as the first rays of sunlight appeared.

The dungeon's iron door swung open with a deafening roar, rust raining down like black rain. Yu Luomian's black robe swept across the threshold, his dragon-shaped jade pendant clanging against his waist with a cold, hard sound. Behind him followed two Soul Emperors, their wolf-head torches scorching the damp air with a burnt smell.

Liu Erlong instantly stood in front of Yu Xiaogang, her dragon scales spreading from her neck to the corners of her eyes, gleaming a dangerous, eerie blue in the firelight.

"Still all lovey-dovey?" Yu Luomian's sneer was like a poisoned steel needle. He strode forward, his boots crushing the rat skeletons on the ground. "Yu Xiaogang, you bastard, you're tough as nails. Even castration couldn't take your worthless life."

Yu Xiaogang struggled to his feet, leaning against the wall. Pus and blood seeping from under his bandages left dark red stains on the blue bricks. He stared intently at the family token at Yu Luomian's waist, a broken roar escaping his throat: "What my surname is is none of your business, you old bastard!"

"Paws!"

Yu Luomian flicked her sleeve and gave the order. The Soul Emperor on the right instantly lunged forward, his iron palm, wrapped in soul power, hurtling towards her. Liu Erlong's pupils shrank sharply, and she swung her dragon claws horizontally, but they were intercepted by another blue light—Yu Luomian himself had made his move, his dragon-shaped martial soul half-manifested, and the lightning leaping between his scales forced her back three steps.

"Father!" Liu Erlong's cries mingled with Yu Xiaogang's muffled groans, "He's already like this, and you still want to kill him completely?"

"To exterminate them all?" Yu Luomian bent down, grabbed Yu Xiaogang's hair, and lifted his face to eye level with hers. "Back then, your mother risked her life to protect you, this bastard child. I should have drowned you in a chamber pot! Now look what's happened! Not only have you ruined the family's reputation, but you're also trying to overturn the very foundation of martial spirit theory!"

He abruptly turned his head and shouted at the Soul Emperor, "Did you hear that? Tomorrow, throw him into Wolf Valley and let the wild dogs gnaw on his bones!"

Yu Xiaogang suddenly burst into maniacal laughter, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth: "Evil Wolf Valley? Yu Luomian, you think I'm afraid? Back when my martial soul mutated and you threw me into the mass grave, I still crawled back!" He suddenly exerted his strength and slammed his forehead hard into the other's nose.

Caught off guard, Yu Luomian staggered backward, blood gushing from her nose.

"Rebellion!" Yu Luomian wiped his face, his eyes blazing with murderous intent, and his dragon claw instantly pierced through Yu Xiaogang's left shoulder. Liu Erlong's screams almost tore apart the dungeon ceiling. She pounced like a madwoman, her dragon tail sweeping across, sending two Soul Emperors flying and crashing into the wall.

Yu Luomian's dragon claws did not loosen; instead, they twisted her wrist bones, crushing Yu Xiaogang's shoulder blades.

"See that? This is the price of betrayal!" Yu Luomian roared at Liu Erlong. "If your mother knew this in the afterlife, she would be ashamed to have given birth to such a shameless thing as you! You slept with your cousin, founded the Traitorous Academy, and now you still want to protect this piece of trash?"

Liu Erlong's attack suddenly froze. Yu Luomian's words were like a poisoned dagger, piercing her most vulnerable wound. Taking advantage of this opening, Yu Xiaogang used his remaining right hand to grab her wrist, his nails digging deep into the crevices of the dragon scales: "You think family honor is supreme? It's nothing but a fig leaf to cover up your incompetence! The Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex clings to bloodline theory; sooner or later, it will be crushed into dust by the times!"

"shut up!"

Yu Luomian slapped Yu Xiaogang across the face, knocking him to the ground. "You think you're qualified to judge a family? Your martial spirit theory is nothing but a plagiarism of fragments from the Spirit Hall!"

He bent down, grabbed the iron chain from the ground, and dragged Yu Xiaogang under the torch like a dead dog. "Look at you now, what's the difference between you and a wild dog? Tomorrow I'll throw you at the valley entrance and let the whole continent know the fate of a traitor!"

Liu Erlong suddenly fell silent. She slowly straightened up, and the anger that surged in her dragon eyes was no longer replaced by a chilling coldness: "Father, do you really intend to do this?"

"Hmph!" Yu Luomian flung off the iron chains. "See you at Wolf Valley tomorrow at noon!"

He turned to leave, but heard the sound of tearing fabric behind him. Turning back, he saw Liu Erlong tear off a piece of his shirt, bite his fingertip, and frantically write on the cloth, the dragon's blood staining the fabric with grotesque characters:

"I, Liu Erlong, hereby sever all ties with the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex Clan from this day forward! If I break this oath, may my soul be scattered and my spirit be destroyed!"

Yu Luomian's pupils shrank sharply: "You!"

"From this day forward, Yu Xiaogang and I will be your sworn enemies, to the death!" Liu Erlong threw the blood-written letter on the ground, his dragon claw slowly rising. "Even if we die, we'll drag you down with us!"

The dungeon fell into a deathly silence. Yu Luomian stared at the blood-stained letter on the ground, his chest heaving violently. Finally, he stomped the letter into a crack in the blue bricks: "Fine, very well! Tomorrow at noon, I'll see what you'll use to resist!"

As the iron gate slammed shut, Yu Xiaogang's cough echoed in the darkness, mingling with Liu Erlong's suppressed sobs, lingering between the damp walls.

As dusk settled, the towering gates of Tiandou City cast massive shadows in the fading light. Zhao Wuji hurried along, his wide cloak billowing in the night wind, beads of sweat clinging to his forehead.

The moment he stepped out of the city gate, a familiar blue silver grass light flashed in the distance, and then Tang San's figure appeared in his field of vision.

Tang San, carrying his pack, looked slightly tired, the faint glow of his Blue Silver Emperor Martial Soul still lingering. He looked up and saw Zhao Wuji, paused for a moment, then quickly stepped forward to greet him: "Teacher Zhao, what are you doing here? You look so rushed, has something happened?"

Zhao Wuji's Adam's apple bobbed. Seeing Tang San's concerned gaze, his heart tightened. He took a deep breath, his voice low and hoarse:
"Little San, Master Master has been captured by the Blue Lightning Tyrannosaurus Rex Clan."
