Chapter 338 The Sound of Crying?
Chapter 338 The Sound of Crying?
"You've only eaten so little, Tsuna, you're so lame..." Shoko drawled, a mischievous smile playing on her lips.
"..."
A sudden feeling of speechlessness welled up in Tsuna's heart, and he "retaliated" by gently pinching her soft cheeks with his fingers.
Seeing that she not only didn't cry out in pain but also stuck out her tongue and made a face with a smug look, his competitive spirit was immediately ignited.
"You think I'm inferior, huh?"
He snorted and moved his hands, which were originally pinching her cheeks, to the sides, then applied a little more force to push her cheeks towards the center, making her chubby little face look like a round pufferfish!
"Waaah... Tsuna, you're bullying Ningren!"
Tsuna ignored her sobbing protests, only feeling that her nasal pleading made him want to do something bad.
With a smile, he placed his other hand on her tender, almost juicy cheek, and with a mischievous grin, gently massaged and squeezed her delicate skin with his fingertips.
Sure enough, after only a few strokes, a red mark appeared where the fingertip had been removed.
When Shoko realized that feigning pitifulness was not working, she immediately dropped her aggrieved expression, opened her mouth, and bit Tsuna's fingers that were still pinching her face!
With lightning speed, just before she closed her teeth, Tsuna not only jerked back and pulled away, but also flicked her nose lightly with his other hand that was pinching her cheek.
It made a soft "bang" sound.
The setting sun cast long shadows of playful figures, while the evening breeze weaved through them, chasing after their laughter.
"Shall we go for a walk outside the school now?" Tsuna laughed as he dodged Shoko's weak little fist, stood up, and turned to look at her.
"Mmm." Shoko responded as she reached out and grabbed the plastic bag hanging from the corner of the chair, pinching the edge and pulling it up.
The plastic bag made a soft rustling sound, and she naturally moved closer, walking half a body length behind him.
A-Tsuna squinted, suddenly feeling that the setting sun was a bit too bright. He slowed down and naturally took the bag from her hand.

The stream gurgled and flowed, reflecting the golden glow of the sunset. The two strolled leisurely along the bank, their feet sinking into the damp mud.
On the bank, three or five children who had not yet returned home from school were chasing a rolling ball or each other's shadows, their small shouts echoing through the swaying wild irises.
"Tsuna, where do you think we should go tomorrow?" Shoko asked aimlessly, fiddling with the sword-shaped leaves of iris peeking out from the grass.
She suddenly pulled out a whole one, without even looking at it, and just twirled the base of the leaf with her fingertips, letting it sway and whip the air weakly with the lazy rotation of her wrist.
"Woo..."
"Aren't you going shopping with Ayumi and Takagi-chan tomorrow?"
"I've changed my mind. I'll go shopping with them the day after tomorrow, and tomorrow will be just the two of us!"
With a flick of her wrist, she sent the slender leaf slicing through the air in front of them with a short, clear "whoosh."
"it is good."
“Hey, Tsuna,” she stopped gesturing and tilted her head to look at him, “How about we go check out the activities being held in those classrooms in the school building tomorrow?”
"Woo..."
Aren't you afraid of it being crowded there?
"I'll just hide behind you then!" Shoko suddenly put her hands on her hips, her words tinged with pride.
"Did you hear anything?" Tsuna suddenly put his index finger to his lips, his gaze slowly sliding from Shoko's smiling face to the distant riverbank.
"Huh? What was that sound?"
"No...it's alright now."
Seeing his expression, Shoko suppressed her curiosity and waited for his explanation. Tsuna listened intently for a while before turning his gaze back to Shoko's face: "It sounds like crying, right on the slope."
As he spoke, he raised his hand and pointed to a general area on the slope.
"Crying...crying?"
Shoko repeated it softly, then suddenly shivered and clung to Tsuna like a cat with its fur standing on end, her arms tightly around his waist.
"No, no... it can't be that kind of thing, can it?!" she said, her voice trembling slightly.
"..."
Tsuna felt the person in his arms rubbing restlessly, and for a moment he really couldn't tell if she was genuinely scared or just pretending...
He patted Shoko on the back: "Come on, let's go up and take a look." Seeing that she was still shrinking and not moving, he simply pulled her aside a little and led her up the slope.

"Woooooooo..."
"Your parents don't want you anymore!"
As soon as the two reached the top of the hill, they saw a group of four or five children running around a crying child on the ground, making a fuss and pointing at him as they ran.
Tsuna looked around. While he was still hesitating, Shoko had already run over:
"Salt—" It was so fast that he didn't even have time to stop it.
"Hey!" she yelled at the group of kids as she ran, "What are you doing?!"
The group of children glanced back at Shoko, and although they wanted to continue causing trouble, they immediately backed down when they saw that there was a man following behind her.
The one in the lead turned and ran, and the rest of them also disappeared in a flash.
"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu"
Seeing that the child was still crying, Shoko squatted down and started to comfort her.
Standing to the side, Tsuna looked at the little girl's clothes and muttered to himself, "...These clothes...they look kind of familiar."
"Little friend, where are your mom and dad?"
Shoko had just wiped the snot and tears off her face when she heard this question, and her eyes instantly filled with tears again.
"Sigh..." Not understanding what was going on, Shoko could only continue to take out tissues.
Seeing that Shoko was still frantically trying to soothe the child, Tsuna squatted down as well, softened his voice, and asked the little girl:
"Little friend, are you in the senior class at Futaba Kindergarten?" As soon as the words were spoken, Shoko and the girl with two little braids looked at Tsuna at the same time.
Unlike the confusion in Shoko's eyes, the little girl's eyes lit up the moment she saw Tsuna.
The tears that were about to fall were forcibly held back, making him look somewhat comical.
"Hmm..." The little girl nodded, sobbing, and looked up with teary eyes, asking in a slightly embarrassed voice, "Then... how did you know, big brother?"
"Because this older sister and I also came from Futaba Kindergarten." Tsuna took the tissue from Shoko's hand and gently wiped away the tears from the corners of her eyes:
Is your current teacher Matsuzaka-sensei?
Seeing that the little girl didn't seem to have any hearing problems, he made a guess.
The little girl shook her head, her eyes red-rimmed. "It's Ishizaka-sensei."
"Teacher Ishiba?" Shoko asked in confusion. The new teacher at Futaba Kindergarten?
Tsuna gently nudged Shoko, answering her question:
"Shoko, have you forgotten? Yoshinaga-sensei got married, and then changed her surname to Ishizaka Midori, right?"
Hearing what the little girl across from them was saying, she began to believe even more of what Tsuna had just said.
