Pascal chased after them, and by the time they found the child, they were already arguing.

"what are you doing?"

"It's mine. It's mine."

"It's noisy."

"bring here."

Pascal quickly stopped him: "We must all be united and friendly, and no one should hog it all."

Let's all listen together, okay?

"No, I want it, it's mine, it's mine."

The robot child strongly resisted and said indignantly:

"Everyone has their own, but I don't, I don't have any."

"He speaks strangely and ostracizes me."

“How could they possibly ostracize you?” Pascal kept trying to reassure her. “That’s not true at all.”

"It's a lie, but it really happened."

No sooner had the words been spoken than the three bullies who had been harassing the child began to shout and heckle:

"Is that enough?"

"give it to me."

"fool!"

"Take it out quickly."

The child holding the music box resisted fiercely: "You bastard! Don't even think about taking it from me, it's mine!"

“Violence is unacceptable,” Pascal continued to urge. “We must all live in harmony.”

However, verbal education, while not entirely useless, is certainly somewhat ineffective.

During the argument, the music box fell to the ground, and a child was pushed to the ground.

"You dare push me?"

The child went up and pushed the bullied child to the ground, then punched and kicked him.

The child felt a surge of resentment and anger as he watched his beloved music box, which he had finally found, being smashed into eight pieces.

"I hate it! I hate everyone!"

"You're bullying me."

Pascal was anxious but helpless as he watched the children wrestle again.

"Why can't we listen together? Why can't we share together? Why can't we live in harmony?"

"Even though they've left the battlefield and are no longer fighting, they still argue." 2B was puzzled.

"In a community, disputes occur frequently because the goals and interests of the individuals clash, leading to arguments," the auxiliary machine's mechanical voice explained the results of the data analysis.

"Since it can't be shared, and there's only one music box, can't some people listen to it first and others listen to it later?"

That way, everyone will have something to hear, right?

Pascal had a flash of inspiration and provided a solution.

Chen Hong smiled.

So familiar.

The robot child stopped, seemingly stunned.

"But the music box is broken."

Everyone looked at the music box that had been shattered into pieces on the ground.

Chen Hong became interested and wanted to see how they would choose.

With a wave of his hand, it was restored to its original state; the fragments of the music box came together and were whole again.

Seeing this, the robot children started arguing again.

"I'll listen first!"

"I'll listen first!"

"I'll listen first!"

“Alright, I’ll distribute them.” Pascal randomly handed a music box to a child.

The child didn't want to listen with others, so he deliberately ran to the side.

After listening, Pascal asked him to hand over the music box so that the next person could listen to it.

The child couldn't bear to part with it, clutching the music box and repeatedly saying:

"This is mine, mine."

"Why should others listen to the music box that I earned through my own abilities?"

"No, no."

Pascal was in a difficult position and tried to persuade them, but to no avail. The other children also started arguing.

Chen Hong flicked his finger, and the music box flew out, landing once again in a child's hand.

Another cycle has begun.

All the children, once they had a music box, considered it their own and were unwilling to share it again.

Even though the music box could actually be taken out and played together, they just wouldn't.

They all hated each other and fought each other endlessly.

They even resented Chen Hong for taking the music box from them and distributing it to other children.

Even if the music boxes they held were given to them by Chen Hong, it was still the same.

Chen Hong couldn't help but sigh: "Having self-awareness isn't necessarily a good thing."

"With the concept of self and others, a sense of distinction arises."

Once you develop a sense of distinction, you develop a possessive desire.

Possessiveness leads to mutual repulsion, conflict, and even harm and destruction.

"How about this, the music box doesn't belong to any of you; it's something we all share."

"Come on, I'll play it."

As the spring is wound up, beautiful music begins to play.

The atmosphere eased somewhat, but they remained at odds, neither willing to yield to the other.

They still remembered the hatred from before, especially the one who had been bullied, who loathed everyone else.

After the song ended, silence fell.

Chen Hong couldn't help but sigh: "Forgiveness and love are not easy."

Once hatred and rifts are formed, they are difficult to heal.

“You have your reasons for thinking that way,” Pascal sighed.

"However, I always believe that communication, mutual understanding, and mutual empathy can ultimately overcome the challenges of a harmonious relationship where differences are not an obstacle."

"We cannot give up hope just because things are as difficult as a quagmire."

"Man is a thinking reed."

"What makes a person great is that he recognizes his own pathetic state."

A tree is unaware of its own pitiful state.

Recognizing one's own patheticness is itself proof of one's greatness.

In the past, we mechanical life forms, lacking self-awareness, were unaware of our own pitiful state.

Now we realize it.

We may not be great, but we are not without value either.

Thinking itself is a valuable activity.

"Although my current abilities are not yet sufficient to perfectly handle all the conflicts in the village."

But as long as everyone still desires peace, communicates more, understands each other, and avoids violence, they can ultimately coexist.

Chen Hong shook his head, disagreeing with Pascal's opinion.

"Your idea is indeed very good, but objective contradictions do not arise out of thin air, much less disappear out of thin air."

Although you have a kind heart that loves peace, you lack the means and courage to handle problems.

When it's expressed, it gives the impression of trying to smooth things over.

Although I don't approve of your methods, your philosophy has indeed brought these peace-loving robots together, allowing them to live a relatively peaceful life.

Although this peace has a sense of complacency, a sense of letting things slide, and a sense of giving up.

In short, you've made great progress by establishing such a peaceful village on this war-torn planet.

So, I wish you all the best and hope you can enjoy a peaceful and tranquil life.

Furthermore, I still advise you to establish some rules to reduce the occurrence of conflicts. The key issue is not scarcity but inequality.

"Thank you for your blessing. I will think about ways to improve." Pascal nodded repeatedly to Chen Hong very politely.

Chen Hong sighed, turned around and left.

Although the child robots stopped arguing, they remained at odds with each other, making it difficult for them to restore their former relationship as genuine playmates.

The music box shattered again.

2B glanced at it, then followed Chen Hong and continued to wander around the village.

In the village, Chen Hong found a special robot.

It was Sartre, the object of the unrequited love of the previous songstress robot, Beauva.
