Chapter 1333

As Artemis spoke, she took the microcomputer off Robin's left hand and turned it on, only to find that the microcomputer was connected to a wireless channel.

"This is the Gotham Police Department's public channel, and that's how Dick contacted me."

Barbara glanced at it and explained, but Artemis was even more confused after hearing it.

"Robin was very careful, as if he was afraid of being discovered by someone."

Artemis turned off the wireless channel and then turned it back on the normal Young Justice League communication channel. A large error message appeared in front of the two of them.

“It seems that’s why he hasn’t been contacting us,” Artemis said knowingly. “It doesn’t seem like there’s no signal; it’s more like someone has turned off his communication access.”

"A person with this ability is obviously not an ordinary person. And this is Gotham. I have a reasonable suspicion that Batman is also in trouble."

As Artemis took out her communication device, she said, "This is no longer a situation that I can handle alone. I must contact the Justice League immediately."

As soon as Artemis turned on the communication device, she saw a huge error, which stunned her on the spot.

"what happened?"

Barbara, seeing Artemis's stunned expression, approached and was also stunned when she saw what was on the screen.

"It looks like the Justice League's internal communication devices have been hacked," Artemis speculated, a few beads of cold sweat trickling down her face.

She then said to Barbara, "Did you bring your phone? We usually don't bring anything that could give us away after we change into our uniforms."

The implication is that he didn't bring his phone, which is a good habit, in case he accidentally throws his personal belongings out during a fierce battle and someone else picks them up, which would turn into an identity crisis.

Barbara nodded. In this day and age, there shouldn't be anyone who goes out without a cell phone. She took out her phone, unlocked it, and handed it to Artemis.

Artemis didn't stand on ceremony. She took the phone and entered a number. It was Kid Flash's number. Although she had all the phone numbers of the Young Justice League members on her phone, this was the only one she remembered.

The reasons are self-evident.

But as soon as Artemis dialed the number, a message appeared on her phone screen indicating that the other party was not in service.

"Hmm?" Artemis was puzzled. Where had the Lightning Boy gone so late? Why couldn't she get through to him?

The thought only lasted a few seconds before Artemis reacted immediately, hanging up the phone and turning it off.

If Artemis hadn't been without a SIM card ejector tool, she would have even tried to pull the SIM card out.

"what happened?"

Barbara had been applying medicine to Dick and hadn't seen what Artemis was doing. When she looked up, she only saw Artemis turn off her phone.

"I've thought of something terrible," Artemis said, her face grim.

"Let's find a way to restrain Robin's hands and feet first, and then leave here immediately."

Barbara was full of doubts, but she obediently suppressed her questions and acted according to Artemis's instructions.

Barbara's backpack contained bandages and some medicine for bruises and sprains, but she didn't have anything to use as a splint. Seeing this, Artemis took out several ordinary arrows from her quiver; two arrows at a time could serve as a splint to stabilize her fractured arm and leg.

The entire treatment process only took a few minutes, since Barbara had already been treating Dick's injuries when Artemis tried to make contact earlier, and the only thing left to be treated was the fracture.

After treating the broken arm and leg, Artemis moved the quiver to her chest before carrying Dick on her back.

Although Artemis and Barbara are the same age, the former has been receiving superhero-level training, and her physical abilities are far beyond those of ordinary peers.

Although Barbara is a well-rounded child who excels in moral character, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor, she ultimately cannot compare to a superhero.

Don't let Artemis's archery skills fool you. Real archers are quite different from those in games. They are incredibly strong, and these seemingly weak melee fighters can actually pull out a sword and cut you in two.

“Let’s go. I have a safe house of my own. Let’s go there first and discuss things further.”

After Artemis carried Dick on her back, she tied him tightly with the rope from his belt to prevent him from falling off while moving.

"Oh, by the way, you'd better throw away your phone first. Don't be sad about it; I'll apply to the Justice League for a subsidy for you later."

Barbara was a smart girl, and based on Artemis's behavior, she immediately understood what the latter meant. It was almost a blatant statement that someone would be tracking them based on her phone.

Thinking of this, Barbara didn't hesitate and immediately slammed her phone to the ground. With a "crack," the phone shattered into countless pieces.

"Let's go, I think we shouldn't waste any more time."

Barbara's family background wasn't bad either. After all, her father was the police chief of a city, the police chief of Gotham City, which was a position that was practically a money-making machine.

If Gordon were a little greedier, the money he could earn in a year would be an astronomical figure; of course, if he did that, he wouldn't be Gordon.

Even so, Barbara never had any financial worries. Gordon's salary, plus some bonuses, was enough for the father and daughter to live very comfortably. Breaking a cell phone was really nothing to her.

What's more, someone even bought a bag for the phone.

Seeing Barbara's decisiveness, Artemis didn't say anything more, and the two hurriedly left the scene.

Just as Artemis had guessed, less than ten minutes after the two left, a dark figure came to the door.

Fully armed, Zul en A strode into Dick's secret base. Artemis and Barbara left in such a hurry that they didn't even have time to close the entrance to the secret base.

"I never imagined that Dick Grayson would have a little world that even Batman didn't know about."

Zul broke off a luminous stick and tossed it on the ground; the cold white light illuminated everything in the room.

"Hmm?" Zul noticed the bandages and some medicine packaging on the ground.

"Judging from the surrounding decorations, this site is far from being completed; there aren't even any shelves for storing things."

"So it's obvious that these medicines weren't originally stored here, and the kid's injuries didn't allow him to get them. Clearly, someone helped him."
