Chapter 1332

Barbara rode her bicycle all the way to the location directly above the coordinates, which was near a middle-class residential area in Gotham.

Barbara looked around and finally found a manhole cover in an alley. After making sure no one was around, she used a folding knife to pry open the manhole cover and went down into it.

Barbara used a folding knife to tap and knock on the pipe. At first, the sounds were hollow and clanging, but when she was almost at the corner, she heard a different sound.

"Is there a hidden compartment here?"

Barbara popped out a folding knife and began disassembling the pipe that was making unusual noises. In no time, she removed the screws from that section of pipe, revealing a combination lock.

"Sure enough, this pipe is fake."

Barbara smiled smugly, but then she was stumped again by the keypad in front of her. Dick hadn't told her the password.

"Password, password."

Barbara began to whisper meaninglessly. She made her first attempt, entering Dick's birthday, which, as expected, was wrong.

"Of course, this is all a trope from crime dramas from the last century. No one would use their birthday as a password unless they were an idiot."

Barbara subconsciously started biting her fingers, but soon she thought of another answer.

Barbara entered the coordinates, and after a crisp beeping sound, the wall began to slide to the right, revealing a gap large enough for a person to pass through.

"Aha!"

Barbara waved excitedly, picked up her backpack, and went inside. The space inside wasn't large; even in the dim lighting, she could tell it was only about twice the size of her bedroom.

"Dick? Dick? Are you in there?"

It was so dark inside that Barbara had to take out her own flashlight. As soon as she turned it on, the cold white light immediately brightened the room.

It was only with the help of the flashlight that Barbara was able to see Robin lying on the ground not far away.

"Dick?!"

Barbara hurried over to Robin, laboriously flipped him over, and immediately removed his mask to confirm that he was indeed the Dick Grayson she knew. This startled Barbara so much that she almost screamed, but she suppressed her fear, grabbed the folding knife lying beside her, and stabbed it behind her.

"Hey, it's me, Barbara!"

Barbara's folding knife missed its mark. Hearing a familiar voice, she turned around and saw only a female archer in green.

"Are you Artemis?" Barbara recognized the superhero in front of her. He was a superhero who had recently risen to fame and happened to share the same name as her new friend.

However, most people wouldn't think of it that way, since Artemis is also the name of the goddess of the hunt, and everyone assumes that her code name means that.

Artemis is Robin's teammate, so it's not surprising that she found this place, but how did she know her name?
“It is I, Artemis.”

As Artemis spoke, she removed the mask with the helmet on it, which Yang Le had modified for her to hide her beautiful blonde hair.

Reality isn't a comic book. Superheroes don't need sexy costumes to attract readers, so they might as well wear a helmet that can protect them from sniper fire and conceal their identities.

Taking off her helmet, Barbara immediately recognized the person in front of her as her new friend.

"Wait, Artemis is Artemis?"

Artemis walked over and looked at Dick, who was seriously injured, with a worried expression.

"Actually, we were together four hours ago, but we went our separate ways after the mission was over."

Artemis lowered her head in thought and said, "It's obvious that Robin encountered something after we separated, but what I'm more curious about is why he didn't contact his superhero teammates immediately, but instead contacted you?"

"It seems there's some reason for preventing him from contacting us."
