Chapter 1248 Bigfoot Ninja's Night Raid on the Assassin Alliance

Chapter 1248 Bigfoot Ninja's Night Raid on the Assassin Alliance (1)

After entrusting Jason to Yang Le, Batman finally breathed a sigh of relief. He didn't want to see another promising young man fall into depravity because of Gotham.

However, this only solved one problem; the issues concerning Talia and Damian are still unresolved.

After returning home, he told Damian about his encounter with Talia that day, their conversation, and of course, the meeting itself.

To Batman's surprise, Damian's attitude toward the matter was unexpected.

"Yes, I understand, Father. You don't need to worry about this matter anymore; I can handle the rest."

Although Damian has been very reliable since they met, that doesn't mean Batman can just leave everything to himself.

"How do you plan to handle this?"

However, Batman was not willing to discourage Damian's enthusiasm, so he decided to ask the latter about his approach before making any further plans.

“I’m not going to do what Mother has planned,” Damian replied. “I intend to end all of this sooner rather than later.”

...

With plenty of time before the appointed time, and not wanting to be captured by the Justice League, Talia returned to the Assassin's Guild.

Overall, the trip went fairly well. She learned Damian's whereabouts and gained the upper hand in her confrontation with Batman. It should have been a day so happy that she would have taken notes.

But all of this was ruined at the end by that bitch!

Talia rubbed her right hand, where a sharp pain still lingered. She would get her revenge for that whipping sooner or later, and she believed that day wouldn't be too far off.

Surrounded by assassins, Talia disembarked from the aircraft and headed into the castle. Regardless of what would happen next, she needed to first greet her father, Lei Xiaogu, and then report everything to him.

Unbeknownst to everyone, a group of people dressed in black ninja outfits, estimated to be more than fifty, were standing behind a sand dune several kilometers away from the castle.

In front of these fifty-odd ninjas stood four people wearing straw hats and red cloaks, and one person wearing silver-gray Japanese armor.

Judging from their posture, the person in armor at the front should be the leader of these people. Perhaps because the temperature was too high, the armored person took off his helmet and revealed his true face.

This person was Damian. He wasn't wearing ordinary armor either; the style was similar to Shredder's. It was unclear how he had managed to grow taller, but he was now almost as tall as his father.

"My lord, the target is just ahead, but it's still early. I suggest we wait until midnight to make our move."

The elite ninja said respectfully, and Damian nodded in response.

"Do as you say, and don't forget what I told you."

"Of course, sir. We have memorized all the outposts and deployments of the Assassin's Guild. With your information, our operations will be invincible."

As if to match the words of the elite ninja, all the Bigfoot ninjas behind him knelt down on one knee in unison. The sight of this uniform scene alone was enough to inspire people.

“I have only one requirement for this operation: it must succeed, failure is not an option.” Damian said as he put his helmet back on, his voice becoming hoarse and sinister under the influence of a special device, just like the real Shredder.

"Also, remember, you can only use my code name during the operation, not my real name."

“Yes.” This time, even the elite ninjas knelt on the ground, all four calling out Damian’s codename in unison. “Lord Shredder.”

Midnight came quickly, and the scorching sunlight that once made the darkness nowhere to hide was now replaced by the soft moonlight.

Under the cool moonlight, Damian, hiding behind the sand dunes, slowly raised his right hand and clenched it tightly, signaling the official start of the operation.

The Bigfoot ninjas who had been kneeling behind him sprang into action, taking advantage of the time when the clouds obscured the moon to quickly advance toward the distant headquarters of the Assassin's Guild.

As Lei Xiaogu's grandson, Damian was naturally very clear about the various arrangements of the Assassin Alliance, and he told his subordinate ninjas everything he knew.

The current time coincides with the shift change of the Assassin's Guild, a time when they are most relaxed. With the help of the route he has planned, he can sneak to the castle without anyone noticing.

"According to the plan, the Bigfoot Ninjas should be able to take care of all the outer outposts in about twenty minutes."

The elite ninjas were responsible for repeating the plan to prevent any omissions or errors.

"There's still an hour until the next changing of the guard, which is enough time for us to storm into the castle."

"Hmm." Damian clenched his fist quietly. It would be a lie to say he wasn't nervous, after all, what he was about to do was to take down the entire Assassin's Guild in a very short time.

As for the conversation three days later? That's not what Damian wants, because if he continues to live according to his mother Talia's arrangements, he will never be able to take control of his own life.

Having tasted freedom, Damian no longer wanted to return to the Assassin's Guild; it was time for him to take charge of his own life.

However, the Assassin's Guild has existed for so long that it has countless enemies, but none of them have ever been able to seriously injure it.

Even Batman, whom Lei Xiaogu valued, had only defeated the former and had never destroyed the League of Assassins.

This was something no one else had ever done before, and Damian wanted to use this to prove himself, to prove that he was no longer a child who needed to be subservient to his parents, and that he had the right to take charge of his own life.

Damian was so nervous that he subconsciously wanted to check the time several times, but he suppressed it each time.

Damian knew that any unnecessary movement at this moment would only discourage him, and he needed to maintain the invincible momentum he had when he made the plan.

This is because he is no longer alone; he now has a group of subordinates. As the saying goes, a bad soldier is a bad soldier, but a bad general leads to a bad army.

If even the leader lacks confidence, how can he expect his subordinates to steadfastly carry out his orders?

Damian knew he should learn this from his father, whose face never showed any extra emotion, and who always seemed full of confidence.

It is precisely because of this that he became the brains of the Justice League, an organization composed of a group of mavericks, and only he, as an ordinary human, could mobilize that group of proud and arrogant geniuses.

"Master Shredder."

Just as Damian was lost in thought, the elite ninja behind him spoke up.

"The Bigfoot ninjas have sent word that all the outposts have been taken down, and we can move out now."
