Chapter 1211 Mongo and the World of War
Yang Le liked people who could understand the situation, and since the other party was so sensible, Yang Le did not resort to violence.
Whatever Yang Le asked next, the scientists from Reach Star answered, and Yang Le quickly understood what had happened.
"I see." Yang Le looked down at the special envoy who was lying on the ground, trembling slightly, and whose breathing was more labored than inhaled.
"It's not the cunning of bad guys that's scary, it's the sudden inspiration of fools. Do you know that Mongo is not someone to be trifled with? It's impossible to get away with luring him here without incurring a huge loss."
"You don't really think you can get away with just offering up some Reach technology, do you? Let me tell you, there's a whole host of trouble waiting for you."
Yang Le wanted to kick the half-dead envoy, but after considering that the kick would only hasten his death and would not get any other feedback, he gave up.
"I really regret breaking your leg now. Letting you die like this was too easy for you. Now that you're dead, it's all over. I still have to clean up the mess you left behind."
"No, I can't let you die so easily." Yang Le said, activating the communicator on the Omnitrix and contacting his clone, Supreme Heaven.
Not long after, a purple spatial rift appeared beside Yang Le, and a tall humanoid tortoise walked out of it, the most striking feature being its head that was constantly burning with purple flames.
The Supreme Genius had barely landed and hadn't even had a chance to speak when Yang Le pointed at the envoy who was about to ascend to heaven and said...
"Take his soul away! Let this idiot taste what the Heirs have experienced."
"Although I don't know what happened, I won't ask any more questions."
The Supreme Heaven cast a layer of purple energy on his hand, then waved to the envoy lying on the ground. The dense purple energy instantly transformed into something like a spider web and stuck to the latter's body.
With a dragging motion in his hand, the Supreme Being pulled a semi-transparent mass from the envoy's body. Upon closer inspection, the envoy's appearance could still be vaguely discerned.
"You seem very busy, so I won't bother you any longer."
Having summoned the envoy's soul into his hands, the Supreme Heaven waved his hand dismissively and said, "I won't do anything."
"I'll keep this soul for now. Just let me know when you need it. Oh, and remember to tell the children to go home early; the other children are already missing them."
Yang Le didn't reply, but instead lowered his head and dialed Batman's number again.
"Batman, something urgent has happened, and I need to ask you for some manpower."
Next, Yang Le briefly explained what had happened to Batman, who immediately understood the urgent situation.
Mongo and the War World's danger level is among the highest in the Justice League's ratings.
Despite being relatively unknown in the real universe, the yellow potato possesses formidable power, capable of destroying a planet.
"Give me the manpower you need, and I'll help you gather the necessary personnel."
Yang Le thought for a moment, then asked, "Have all the members of the Young Justice League been released from control?"
"Robin and the others?" Batman hesitated for a moment. "Their location is easy to pinpoint; they've all been rescued now."
"However, now that they know the truth, they are consumed by extreme self-blame. I've ordered them to stay at the base and await orders. Are you sure you want them to carry out this mission?"
"The world is about to end, where do we have time to let them be depressed?" Yang Le said nonchalantly. "I've done the most missions with Robin and the others. It's more comfortable to work with them than with other unfamiliar people."
"Furthermore, don't underestimate Robin and his group. In terms of strength, they're not much different from the Justice League members. They just lack some experience." "Don't worry, I'll be the main force for this mission. I just need some manpower to help out. The Young Justice League can handle it perfectly well."
Yang Le's words made Batman make up his mind, after all, his thoughts were exactly the same as the former's, and the Young Justice League's achievements during this period were real.
They've already had plenty of experience fighting vicious supervillains, so there's no reason to keep treating them like children.
"Should you contact them yourself, or should I speak to them for you?"
...
"Ah~"
This is the word Robin has heard most often during this period, sometimes coming from his own mouth, and sometimes from his companions.
There was nothing they could do about it, after all, they had just experienced total annihilation and betrayed the Justice League.
Although this was not of their own volition, none of them considered it a valid reason, since the cause of the incident was ultimately their own fault.
"I still can't believe it." The Lightning Boy slumped onto the sofa, looking utterly hopeless, as if his bones had been removed.
"I never imagined Roy was a clone. Everything around me feels unreal. Could there be other clones lurking in the shadows?"
“If you’re looking for a clone, here’s another one.” Superboy weakly raised his right hand. “I was indeed a spy planted in my fold.”
"Is this some kind of 'The Truman Show'?" Kid Flash clutched his head in anguish. "What can I still believe in around me?"
"Snapped!"
"Ouch!"
Lightning Boy covered his head, looked up at the person who had slapped him on the head with annoyance, and only calmed down after realizing that it was Yang Le.
"Oh, it's Mr. Yang. Don't worry, we are reflecting on our actions."
"Who asked you?" Yang Le asked, surprised. "I'm here to carry out a mission, who cares whether you've reflected on your actions?"
"On a mission? Us?" There was a hint of self-deprecation in Flash's tone.
"My mind is a mess right now, I can't even tell what's real around me."
"This slap of mine was real. Do you want to try it again?"
Faced with Yang Le's threat of force, Lightning Boy compromised and remained silent.
"Alright kids, stop looking so downcast. The Earth is going to be destroyed in twenty minutes. Now everyone get moving!"
"Huh?!" ×N.
The unexpected turn of events caught everyone off guard. Before they could figure out what was happening, Yang Le urged them to pack their equipment and then, looking completely bewildered, boarded the Martian girl's bio-spacecraft.
"I'll get straight to the point," Yang Le said seriously. "Mongo will launch a full-scale attack on Earth in fifteen minutes. Our mission is to stop him, understand?"
