Chapter 1162 Damian's Great Adventure (4)

Before the Bigfoot ninjas could surround them, Damian stepped out from behind the tree first.

"It's that kid from that day!" The elite ninja frowned. "We've been discovered! Ninjas, be on alert for attackers!"

Upon hearing the elite ninja's order, the Bigfoot ninjas sprang into action, taking up high ground to search for Damian's accomplices.

Kara realized from the ninjas' movements that the child in front of her was one of the murderers who killed her father. Although she felt angry, her conscience told her that she should not kill a child.

Moreover, she also learned from the elite ninjas that the real murderer of her father was the Asian man who could transform into a strange creature, and that the others were mostly just confronting the ninjas.

"No need to be so alarmed, I'm the only one who came." Damian was open and honest, showing no sign of feeling like he had infiltrated the enemy camp alone.

However, the Bigfoot ninjas were clearly not going to believe Damian's words so easily, and they remained standing on the high ground without letting up.

But what Damian said was true. No matter how careful and vigilant the ninjas were, it was useless, since he really came alone.

Seeing that no one else was found after a while, the elite ninja waved his hand and had several ninjas surround Damian. The ninjas did not make a move directly, but rather applied pressure.

However, Damian's upbringing made it impossible for him to fear such a bloodless intimidation. He ignored the ninjas around him and stared intently at the elite ninjas on the steps.

"I have come for you, Bigfoot ninjas, I have come to subdue you."

Now, not only the elite ninjas, but even the ordinary Bigfoot ninjas showed unanimous shock. Even though their bodies were completely covered, their astonishment was still evident.

"Do you know what you're saying?" the elite ninja demanded. "We are the enemy, and you are the ones who killed our master."

"First of all, I wasn't the one who killed your master," Damian shook his head. "Secondly, even if I really did kill him, so what?"

"What do you mean?" The elite ninja frowned.

“Qu Ruier is dead,” Damian said, enunciating each word clearly. “He is a thing of the past. Are you going to serve a dead man until you yourselves die?”

The elite ninjas remained silent. If Qu Ruier were still alive, their loyalty would be absolute, but now that he was dead, they couldn't just stand by and do nothing while revolving around a dead man.

Kara, however, wouldn't listen to that. She drew her katana from her back and leaped over the ninjas' encirclement, arriving in front of Damian and pointing her sword at him.

“Take back what you said!” Kara’s eyebrows shot up. “I will not allow you to insult my father!”

“I’m just stating the facts,” Damian said calmly. “As someone connected to Quriel, you naturally don’t want to hear these things, but I don’t think you can stop the Bigfoot ninjas’ ideas.”

After saying that, Damian ignored Kara and continued speaking to the Bigfoot ninjas.

“I have taken a liking to your loyalty, so I have decided to become your leader. Just as you need someone to lead you, I also need your help.”

"If you also want to be like Schreid, then..."

"I don't want to be anyone!"

Before the elite ninja could finish speaking, Damian interrupted him, drawing his own katana and shouting, "All I have to do is be myself. As for Shredder, he's already a loser. There's no point in inheriting the title of a loser. I want you to abandon that loser and follow me."

"Shut up!" Kara was furious. "I won't allow you to insult this name!"

Before she finished speaking, Kara had already charged toward Damian with her knife in hand. Judging from her momentum, she definitely wanted more than just teach the latter a lesson.

However, Damian was not afraid. Since he was old enough to understand, he had only sparred with one person his own age. The rest of the time, he sparred with adult assassins and his mother. Kara was far inferior to them in terms of both killing intent and aura.

By the way, Damian's only sparring partner of the same age is named Cassandra, who is more terrifying than any adult assassin.

Enraged, Kara, having not experienced the battle at Atem Base, subconsciously underestimated Damian, who was just a child.

Damian did all of this intentionally; otherwise, he wouldn't have kept attacking Schleid and Qureier. Damian had to admit that with his current physical abilities, it was still too difficult for him to defeat a well-trained adult head-on.

Damian had to resort to some underhanded tactics, but assassins have never been a respectable profession, and he was happy to use any trick that could increase his chances of winning.

Kara's charge was clearly an attempt to end the fight quickly. Damian knew that this first step of the attack could not be successful no matter what, so he released his left hand, and a smoke grenade that had been prepared beforehand slid to the ground.

"boom!"

After a loud bang, black smoke instantly engulfed Kara and Damian. Kara was now unable to stop and could only swing her knife, but it was obvious that she only managed to cut through the smoke.

Kara covered her mouth and nose with one hand, holding a katana in the other, constantly turning her body to be wary of attacks that could come from any angle.

Outside the smoke, the Bigfoot ninjas had long since dispersed. They wouldn't get involved in this battle; even though Kara was their former master, she no longer had the right to command them.

Kara was anxious; the more respect she showed to Qu Ruier, the angrier she became.

"Da da!"

Kara heard footsteps behind her, turned around quickly and swung her knife down, which struck the ground without any resistance.

"You are not a qualified ninja."

Damian's voice came from behind her, a voice that was nothing short of the whisper of death to Kara at this moment. It was too late to change her tactics.

"boom!"

Damian first kicked Kara in the back of the knee, forcing her to be at the same height as him and crippling her mobility.

Immediately afterwards, Damian struck Kara's ribs with the hilt of his sword. The intense pain made it almost impossible for Kara to hold onto the katana. He then punched the ribs that had just been struck, and this time Kara could no longer hold the sword no matter how hard she gritted her teeth.

Damian kicked the katana aside before placing his own sword against Kara's neck, stopping her from doing anything.

At the same time, the smoke from the smoke bomb dissipated, revealing Kara kneeling before the Bigfoot ninjas, and Damian holding a knife to their throats.
