Chapter 1148: To Earth
Chapter 1148 Return to Earth
In a system like that of Tesserland, once there is no leader, the factional struggles that were previously taking place in secret will come to light.
Salam lost all value the moment he died. Perhaps someone will seek justice for him, but that's certainly not now.
Factional strife can be brutal, especially in a country like Tasmania that reveres military might; verbal battles can quickly escalate into real fights.
Now it was Yang Le's turn to feel embarrassed. He never expected that in the end, he, the one who started this big show, would end up being ignored by everyone.
In fact, it could be said that as long as Yang Le stayed away from the main battlefield, no one would come looking for him. Everyone was too busy killing each other to pay attention to an outsider like him.
It's unclear how many people from other parties were planted in the Prime Minister's office, but less than half an hour after Salam's death, the entire flagship knew about it.
However, the battle eventually turned into a fight between two groups: one was Salam's subordinates, the former Prime Minister's party, and the other was the party led by Casimos, who knew in advance that all of this would happen.
Knowing everything in advance, Casimos quickly assembled his forces and swiftly suppressed all parties except the original prime minister's party. The reason he was able to do this so quickly was that Casimos adopted a decapitation tactic, directly imprisoning all the party leaders.
This is where Casimus's cleverness lies. He understands that the living are always more useful than the dead, so he only imprisoned them without indiscriminately killing innocent people. Whether it was his personality that made him unwilling to do so, or his skillful methods, in short, it has nothing to do with Yang Le now.
Subsequently, because Casimos quickly took control of the army, the entire city of Tesserland soon fell into his hands, and the former Prime Minister's party, which had resisted stubbornly, was also taken over under coercion and enticement.
After that, Casimos approached Yang Le, who was about to leave, and suggested that, in order to prevent any further disputes, they should take Dr. Fucitold to Earth.
With Dr. Fucittod gone, many problems could be fundamentally solved, and Casimos was confident he could use his social skills to resolve the remaining issues between Tesserlandon and Hahab.
Yang Le felt that Casimos's words were genuine; he truly wanted to resolve the war between the two federations.
"Hopefully, Tesserlandon can end this long war."
Leonardo exclaimed after hearing the story.
"Alright, brothers, let's not talk about those important things now." Michelangelo reached out and put his arms around the other three turtles. "We're going home soon! Smile! I can't wait!"
“Damian messaged me not long ago,” Yang Le said, pointing to his communication device. “He said Dr. Fucittod has finished building the time-space teleporter and is just waiting for us to return.”
"Then what are we waiting for, guys?" Donatello broke free from the embrace and strode back to the driver's seat. "Professor Splinter is still waiting for us."
...
"Did you find them?"
A large rat, as tall as a person and dressed in a brown yukata, leaned on a cane and asked, his worry evident even through the fur covering his face.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Splinter.” A man with purple hair turned around and apologized. Behind him was a huge control panel, and he had obviously been busy with something before replying.
"Because your children were transported several light-years away, locating them is somewhat difficult."
Splinter wasn't very familiar with these particularly modern words, but that didn't stop him from extracting the useful information he could understand.
"So you mean they haven't found them yet, right?" Splinter sighed. "I'm sorry, I'm not blaming Mr. Mordo, but I'm really worried about my children."
“I understand, Mr. Splinter,” Mordo nodded. “Don’t worry, this whole thing started because of us. We Artem people won’t shirk our responsibilities and give up halfway. We’ll find your students no matter the cost.” Just then, a strange creature the size of a human head, with pink skin and several short, thick tentacles, flew over on a disc.
"Modo, we've just detected a peculiar energy flow, and analysis has revealed that it originates from spacetime turbulence."
"Was it caused by human intervention?" Modo pressed.
The creature nodded and said, "Yes, such regular energy fluctuations could not have been generated naturally. Someone must have used a spacetime teleportation device, and the landing point is not far from us, within the New York area."
"Can you provide the specific coordinates?"
“It’s been found.” The creature transmitted the data to Mordo, who hesitated for a few seconds after receiving the data before looking at Splinter.
"What's wrong, Mr. Mordo?" Splinter asked curiously.
“Mr. Splinter, I just received word that a group of people have used a teleportation device to get to your house. I think we need to go and check it out.”
...
"call out!"
As the piercing shriek rang out, a light blue light screen shone onto a pool of water. Then, clumps of blue matter began to merge under the light screen, eventually transforming into humanoid entities.
"Ugh!" Michelangelo, now in physical form, immediately covered his mouth.
"I absolutely never want to come back a third time. This thing felt like it ripped my stomach out."
"In fact, my time-space teleportation device breaks down your body and then reassembles it at the destination."
Dr. Fuckey Todd held up one finger to explain.
"The reason I put this project on hold for so long is because I didn't really like this feeling either. However, I found that I didn't feel this way after I became a robot, which gave me a new perspective."
"Oh, all your professional knowledge is making my head spin." Michelangelo waved his hand, still looking like he didn't want to listen.
Then Michelangelo turned around, opened his arms wide, faced the open space, and cried out, "Oh! My lovely home, I'm finally back!"
Like Michelangelo, the remaining three turtles no longer looked so tense, clearly having relaxed a bit after returning to their familiar surroundings.
As for Yang Le and the others who came back with them, they were also looking around at the turtles' home.
If you don't tell him, no one would guess that this ancient building, which blends Japanese style, is actually in the sewers, since it looks like an ancient temple that would be protected by the authorities.
That's actually true, because the turtles' home was inherited from a group of ancient underground people.
