Chapter 1027 Mary Logan and Garfield

Chapter 1027 Mary Logan and Garfield

He casually pulled the two Biarrarian soldiers out of the tank and threw them aside, then charged towards the tank group once again.

Just like what Bao Hu said before, it really is like a tiger entering a flock of sheep. Normal combat is as easy as cutting melons and vegetables. The only thing worth mentioning is the names of the moves that Bao Hu shouts out when he attacks.

Things like elephant kicks, two dragons playing with a pearl, melon-crushing fist, mantis fist, snake steps, lotus float, scorpion palm, etc. In short, it's a good thing this isn't the Jackie Chan Adventures universe, otherwise Black Tiger Afu would be charging him royalties.

The entire battle lasted less than ten minutes. The Biarriya army, which had come in with great momentum, fled in panic.

Watching the Biarriya soldiers scrambling and crawling across the border, Tyrant Tiger curled his lip in disdain.

"Is that all the skill you've got? The tiger's claws aren't even sharp enough."

As he spoke, the tiger crossed its two sharp claws in front of its chest once more and rubbed them together before turning around and realizing that the mother and child he had saved earlier had not escaped far.

About a kilometer away, the mother and son were squatting there, examining the bison that he had frightened into unconsciousness.

"His breathing is steady, and there are no obvious external injuries. He looks like he's just passed out," the red-haired woman said after a quick check.

Where are you, Garfield?

"My mom is the same here. I guess she was scared unconscious by that big tiger just now."

The boy, called Garfield, looked up to answer his mother. He was about to take the water bottle from his waist to give the stressed bison water when he found himself enveloped in a huge shadow.

Garfield looked up and saw that Tiger was standing right behind him.

"Kids, why aren't you running?"

"You're the big tiger that just saved us!"

Upon seeing the nearly two-meter-tall tiger-headed man who could disassemble tanks at will, Garfield's eyes showed not a trace of fear, but rather undisguised excitement.

"Mom is the big tiger that just saved us!"

Bao Hu turned his gaze to the red-haired woman. He had vaguely sensed that he had seen this woman somewhere before.

"I saw Garfield, don't make a fuss." The red-haired woman reassured the bison, who had just opened its eyes. After vaguely seeing the figure of the tiger, the bison struggled to its feet and then ran away.

The bison, panicked and disoriented, stood in stark contrast to the calm and collected mother and child.

"You guys don't seem afraid of Violent Tiger?" Violent Tiger pointed to himself, believing that his appearance was quite intimidating.

“My son and I are just ordinary people. We are no match for a tiger that can tear a tank apart.” The red-haired woman stood up and dusted herself off.

"Besides, if you really wanted to hurt us, you would have done it already. Why would you need to chat with us?"

“You are no ordinary lady,” Tiger commented. “What should I call you?”

“This is what happens when you stay on the prairie for too long.” The red-haired woman tossed her hair. “Mary Logan, just call me Mary. This is my son Garfield. And you? Are you called Tiger?” Tiger then remembered who the woman in front of him was. She was none other than Mary Logan, the actress that Martian girl Megan liked and admired the most, who became an instant star after starring in “Hello, Megan,” and then retired from the entertainment industry at the height of her fame.

And Garfield… in the DC universe, there was only one child with that name he could think of, and that was Beast Boy—Garrfield.

In Yang Le's few memories of "Young Justice League", he remembered that Beast Boy seemed to have made an appearance, but his origin was different from that in the comics.

"The name of the 'Violent Tiger' is indeed Violent Tiger." Yang Le did not intend to reveal his real name for the time being, so he gave the code name of the alien hero.

“A tiger? Okay.” Mary straightened her ponytail, which had become a little loose from the strenuous exercise.

"Are you also a resident of this vast grassland? I've never seen you before?"

Compared to his calm mother Mary, little Garfield was not so composed. Perhaps because he took after his mother, little Garfield also loved animals very much, and naturally liked the tiger-headed man who saved them even more.

Garfield kept pestering Tiger with a barrage of questions. If this were any normal Berserker, it would have driven him crazy, but Yang Le temporarily allowed his rationality to prevail.

“The tiger is not a native of this area. It was originally going to Kurakor, but it was just passing through the Logan Wildlife Reserve.”

Violent Tiger transmitted his experience to the people on the spacecraft through telepathy. He knew that it wouldn't be long before the Martian girl, who knew that her idol was here, would fly down.

"Kulako?" Mary frowned upon hearing this. "It's been quite turbulent there lately. What? Are you going to join the resistance too?"

Considering the way the Tiger had just thrashed the Biarrarian army, it's understandable that Mary would make that guess, but unfortunately she was wrong.

“I’m sorry, I can’t comment on that,” Tiger shook his head. “Do you know much about Kulako?”

“We occasionally go there to buy necessities,” Garfield answered first. “It used to be a nice country, and the people were very friendly.”

“At least much better than Biarriya.” Mary sighed, the intelligent woman vaguely guessing that she and her son might have been involved in something terrible.

However, the mother and son had no choice in this matter from beginning to end. If it weren't for the tiger, they would have died under the hooves of the bull long ago.

"Inside Biarriya, not only are the soldiers arrogant and domineering, but the residents also don't like to communicate with outsiders. I only went there once or twice when I first arrived, and later I went to Kurak instead."

On one side is a shady, authoritarian country, and on the other is a humanist country; it's easy to tell which one is more comfortable.

“I’m sorry, Madam,” Tiger suddenly interrupted Mary. “If it’s alright, Tiger has a few friends who would like to meet you, or even just one of them would be fine.”

"What do you mean?" Mary didn't quite understand what Tiger meant.

"As you probably guessed, Tiger came to Kulaco on a mission. We didn't want to disturb your life, but one of us is a fan of yours, so..."

"Tiger is coming to our house! That's great!" Little Garfield didn't think about all that. He only knew that the tiger he admired was coming to visit them, and that the tiger also had a teammate who was a fan of his mother's movies.

This made Garfield feel very proud, but it put Mary in a difficult position. To be honest, she really didn't want to know any more things she shouldn't know.
