Chapter 1010 Disad

After discussion, the Eternals will take all the Fourth World technology, while the Earth criminals will be left to the Earthlings to deal with.

Yang Le, of course, called in the Justice League to cover up the situation, as he couldn't possibly move all the dozen or so people away by himself.

In the end, it was indeed Green Lantern who came to pick up the group, after all, their abilities were just too suitable for tasks such as capture and transportation.

However, this time the Green Lantern wasn't Hal, but John, the black Green Lantern who should be considered the third generation of Earth's Green Lantern.

Well, in this universe, John becomes Green Lantern before Guy, and both Hal and John are already official members of the Justice League, while Guy is still just a prospective member.

It is said that Guy himself is strong enough to stand on his own, but Hal and John still think that he is not steady enough and needs more training before he can join the Justice League.

The main differences between the main members and prospective members of the Justice League are actually only two points.

First, official members can freely access all materials within the Justice League.

Second, full members can carry out tasks assigned by the alliance on their own, while reserve members generally need one full member or multiple reserve members to act together.

Simply put, the prospective members are mostly members who have problems with their abilities or in some aspect. They still need guidance from the official members of the alliance, just like the Young Justice League.

Yang Le and John were not familiar with each other; they were merely nodding acquaintances. They had only met and exchanged a few words with each other within the league.

So, Yang Le discovered that his closest relationship with the three existing Green Lantern members on Earth was actually with Guy Gardner, the only Justice League prospective member.

Just like the nickname given to him by comic book fans, Silly Guy is mostly eccentric. Many people can get along with him, but this personality has also led to him being labeled as unreliable due to his immaturity.

Oh right, as for why my relationship with Hal isn't that good, it's not because we're incompatible or anything like that. It's simply because Hal is very busy. As the greatest Green Lantern, Hal has to take care of more than just his little corner of Earth; there are many things on Oa that require his attention.

In some ways, Hal should be the busiest member of the Justice League, constantly traveling around the universe.

Therefore, there are only two Green Lanterns permanently stationed on Earth now: John and Guy. The latter is also a trainee member of the Green Lanterns, while the former is mainly responsible for leading him.

It remains to be seen whether Guy Ritchie will be able to stand on his own as a superhero when Jessica and other younger Green Lanterns take the stage.

"How's Guy doing these days?" Yang Le deliberately brought up the topic that shouldn't be touched. "I remember the Justice League's official member selection meeting is coming up soon. Do you think Guy has a chance of being elected this time?"

Faced with Yang Le's question, John said nothing, but his originally serious expression became a little distorted, and then he shook his head painfully.

John didn't mention anything about Guy until he left, and seeing how distressed Guy looked, Yang Le didn't press him for details.

Yang Le, on the other hand, stayed behind to help the five members of the Eternal Clan, since he hadn't yet completed either the overt or covert missions.

"Mr. Yang Le."

The Dreamer called out to Yang Le after he finished saying goodbye to John. "We've made a new discovery. You can come and take a look when you're done with your work."

When Yang Le walked over, he found that the Eternals were forming a circle. After they noticed Yang Le approaching, they stepped aside so that Yang Le could see what they were surrounding.

It was an illusory projection, showing a humanoid creature covered by a cloak that almost completely concealed his body, with only the left half of his face visible. However, Yang Le could still glimpse a distorted right side of his face through the gaps in the cloak.

“This is Desad.” The Dreamer’s tone was full of disgust. “Even on Apokolips, a planet teeming with demons, he is absolutely the most evil and disgusting one.”

“Desad is the emperor of Apokolips and a member of the Dark Elite under Darkseid, the god of anti-life. Unlike Steppenwolf and Kalibak, whom you have encountered, Desad is not skilled in combat.”

Viking's expression was serious, and the disgust in his eyes was no less than that of the Dreamer. Because Yang Le had previously mentioned that only two Apokolips warriors had ever come to Earth, he was afraid that Yang Le might not know about it, so he began to introduce the information about Desad.

"But that doesn't mean that Disad is not dangerous. On the contrary, in terms of danger and evil alone, Disad is very likely to be more dangerous than Steppenwolf and his companion."

"He was one of the scientists on Apokolips and Darkseid's chief executioner. He loved to torture his captured enemies, and almost no one could survive his clutches."

The projected image of Desad wore an evil smile, and with his messy black hair and twisted, strange body, he looked utterly lewd.

Even without Viking's introduction, how could Yang Le not know about Disad, who frequently appeared under Darkseid?

In the comics, Dessaard usually plays a role similar to a strategist and jester under Darkseid. However, because Darkseid is very opinionated, Dessaard's presence is generally not as noticeable as that of his other high-powered colleagues.

“This is what I extracted from the brains of those dozen or so criminals who fainted earlier,” the Dreamer explained. “It seems that, just as we suspected, Apokolips is indeed plotting something again.”

Yang Le nodded repeatedly. If it was that shady guy, Disad, then Yang Le wouldn't be surprised by anything he did.

“If it’s Desard, then we need to be careful.” Serifen licked his lips. “I suggest that we transform into Infinite Man as soon as we see Desard.”

Serifin's suggestion was agreed upon by his companions, who all seemed to harbor great hostility towards Disad.

"ping, ping".

Just then, the mother box in Viking's hand suddenly made a sound, and Viking's expression changed as he spoke to the people around him.

"The Mother Box has detected a new signal. This time, she has detected the signal from Apokolips Technology. My friends, we may very well be facing Desad himself this time."

Following Viking's words, the other members of the Eternals also became serious.

"Be careful, my friends. I think we should take Serifin's advice and fight as an unlimited force whenever we see Desard, so as not to give the enemy any chance."

Looking at the united and determined Eternals, Yang Le suddenly felt that this matter was not so simple. Would that shady guy, Disad, really expose himself so easily?
