Chapter 429 Alien Queen
Roy's power shocked the remaining four Predators.

If one could survive, who would willingly die inside a pyramid?

Moreover, the rules did not state that one could not rely on powerful allies to pass the test, and the remaining four Predators each killed one Xenomorph, which was considered as completing the trial.

The difficulty of the trial has increased dramatically simply because of its unusual shape.

The four Predators communicated in a language Roy couldn't understand, and finally the Predator captain projected a message to answer Roy.

“We agree, but we have one request: we want to capture a special alien and take it back to the tribe.”

Although the Predators are a civilization with FTL, they still practice a tribal system.

The supreme leader, the Iron Queen, was merely a leader jointly elected by many tribes and did not wield much power.

Most of the time, the Ironbloods practice tribal autonomy.

Roy frowned slightly upon hearing the Predator's request.

"You want to capture the monster? How? As long as it has the ability, it will split itself and parasitize other creatures, unless you can freeze it."

At this moment, a Predator showed off the gun on his arm, which turned out to be a freeze gun.

Good heavens, each of these Predators carries a high-tech firearm, with the Predator Captain possessing the most powerful shoulder-mounted plasma cannon.

One Predator was equipped with a flamethrower, another with a freeze gun, and there was also the Predator who had tried to attack Roy with a laser gun earlier. Their firepower was considerable.

However, these individual firearms likely have limited ammunition or energy reserves, so these Predators did not use them indiscriminately.

"Alright, I'll help you catch a weirdo, but whether you can actually catch it is your problem. Let's go!"

The Predator captain nodded, then donned camouflage and led the way.

The Ironblood Clan's camouflage equipment isn't truly invisible; it only achieves near-invisibility by refracting light, and can still be seen if you get close.

Therefore, there was no problem with Roy following behind the Predator.

However, after searching for a while, the five of them did not find any trace of the strange creature; it seemed that these guys had also hidden themselves away.

“There’s no point in searching like this. I suspect they’re afraid of me. Here’s what we’ll do: I’ll hide, and you guys make some noise to attract them.”

The Predator captain agreed to Roy's strategy, and then they saw Roy disappear right before their eyes.

The four Predators were somewhat surprised and uncertain. They tried to find Roy using thermal imaging, sound waves, energy detection, and other methods, but found nothing.

This made Roy even more enigmatic in the eyes of the Predators.

After Roy disappeared, the Predator started banging on the walls with its weapon to make noise, and it quickly became very effective.

Three strange creatures crept up to the Predators, intending to ambush them. One of them happened to pass by Roy.

Without hesitation, Roy kicked the strange creature, sending it flying and crashing into the wall.

The commotion immediately attracted the Predator's attention, and the remaining two monsters jumped out to attack him.

At this moment, Roy transformed the Leviathan Axe into a spinning blade and threw it. The spinning blade flew around once, accurately slicing the two attacking monsters in two, and flew back to Roy's hand, with no blood left on the blade.

The four Predators then came to their senses and began to coordinate their attacks.

The Predator, equipped with a flamethrower, began roasting the alien, while the Predator Captain activated his shoulder-mounted cannon, ready to fire at any moment.

The Predator with the freeze gun wanted to freeze the monster that Roy had knocked unconscious, but Roy thought it wasn't a good idea.

“Each part of the Thing’s body can stand alone. You don’t need to take the whole Thing with you; you only need to take a part.”

Upon hearing this, the Predator with the laser weapon remotely locked onto the alien and used the laser to cut off its head. Then, another Predator used a freeze gun to freeze the head into a large block of ice.

The remaining part of the monster was burned by Roy with incendiary bombs.

Since the other Predators had already received their Trial Tokens, Roy took the remaining two Oddity Shards' shells.

"Alright, can you take me to find the Alien Queen now?"

The Predator nodded in agreement.

Although the interior of this pyramid changes periodically, it actually follows a pattern, and the Predator has mastered the secret of the pyramid's topography.

Led by the Predator, Roy soon found a downward staircase, which should lead to a huge space below.

"Is this the place? Then I'll go down."

Just as Roy was about to go down, he heard the Predator captain let out a low growl, as if he had something else to say.

"Anything else?"

The Predator captain pointed at Roy and then punched his own chest.

"What do you mean? You want to fight alongside me?"

The Predator captain nodded; the Predator's sense of honor made him unable to watch Roy fight alone.

"Fine, if you want to join the war, then join it. But I can't control you while we're fighting."

Roy laid out the unpleasant truth upfront: having four people clinging to him and shouting "666" wouldn't affect him anyway, but it was more likely that some of those four Predators would die.

Going down the stairs doesn't lead directly to the Queen's Chamber, but rather to a hatchery filled with facehugger eggs.

Here Roy saw several human corpses, which were probably brought here by the Xenomorphs to be parasitized by facehuggers. Without exception, all of these corpses had a large hole in their chests.

Upon seeing the insect eggs, the four Predators immediately began cleaning them up.

Every now and then, facehuggers would suddenly pop out and try to ambush Roy and his group, but the Predators who had managed to stay until now were all quick-witted and didn't give the facehuggers any chance.

As for Roy, while the Predator wasn't looking, he grabbed a few facehuggers and unhatched eggs and stuffed them into his inventory, intending to study them or sell them later.

The FEA would certainly be very interested in such alien life forms.

The alien queen in the queen's cell seemed to sense the mass killing of her children through her pheromones and immediately let out a deafening roar.

Five worker bee aliens broke out of the Queen's cell and attacked Roy and his group.

The Predator highly values one-on-one combat, and upon seeing five aliens, immediately declared a 1v1.

Roy didn't care; it was just a few minutes' waste of time anyway.

"Die to me!"

The Leviathan Axe, transformed into a folding spear, was hurled, and the sonic booming spear easily ripped a large hole in the alien's body.

Although aliens are incredibly resilient, such trauma is enough to kill them.

After easily dispatching one of the aliens, Roy quietly watched the battle between the Predator and the alien. The Predator considered killing an alien a symbol of bravery, which is actually similar to the customs of some primitive human tribes.

Even today, some of the most primitive tribes in Africa arrange for their members who are about to come of age to fight wild beasts one-on-one with simple weapons.

It's usually a lion, or a leopard or something like that.

Otherwise, why can't the population increase?
For example, in this trial, three of the seven Predators have already been lost. The elimination rate in one trial is close to half, so the population definitely won't be able to grow.

The remaining four aliens were eventually defeated by the Predator. Aliens are better at ambushes, and they are no match for the trained Predator in a head-on fight.

"Just keep going!"

Roy finally entered the Alien Queen's cell and saw the enormous Alien Queen.

This alien queen was over ten meters tall and perhaps fifteen meters long, but Roy couldn’t determine its true length because its tail was curled up.

The Alien Queen's head has a very large fan-shaped shell, like a magnificent shield, and its thickness looks astonishing.

Compared to the regular Xenomorph, the Xenomorph Queen is slightly more bulky, possibly because she needs to reproduce and has a prominent cloaca for releasing eggs.

In other aspects, the Alien Queen is similar to a regular alien, whether it's her long tail, the spikes on her back, or her terrifying mouth.

It's simply a matter of amplifying certain aspects.

At this point, only two chains remained binding the Alien Queen. It was estimated that if Roy and his group had arrived a few minutes later, the Alien Queen would have been freed.

It didn't matter, because the Alien Queen couldn't possibly defeat Roy, regardless of whether she was bound by chains or not. So he simply threw his blade and slashed the remaining two chains.

This situation surprised even the Alien Queen and the Predator.

"Come on, let's have a 1v1 duel!"

The Alien Queen was highly intelligent, likely comparable to a normal human, so she quickly understood Roy's meaning.

The huge difference in size made the guy feel challenged, after all, the most basic truth in nature is that whoever is bigger is stronger.

The Alien Queen, who had never witnessed Roy's power, probably thought Roy was just a small Karami, the shortest person in the entire arena.

Predators are generally quite tall, and Roy is considered short for his race.

Captain Predator is about 2.2 meters tall, and even ordinary aliens, if they stand up, would definitely be a head taller than Roy.

"Heh, you look down on me?"

Roy spun the blade back into the shape of an axe, then threw it forcefully.

Snapped!
A loud bang!
The Alien Queen had no time to react before being struck by Leviathan's axe.

Roy didn't kill the creature; instead, he aimed at the fan-shaped carapace on its head. So, although the Alien Queen's head was buzzing, she at least survived.

"Huh, it didn't break the carapace?"

The Leviathan Axe was embedded directly into the Alien Queen's fan-shaped carapace, and the immense force knocked down its massive body, kicking up a cloud of dust.

However, Roy was mainly amazed by the hardness of the Alien Queen's shell.

Since acquiring the Leviathan Axe, Roy has encountered nothing that could withstand it, whether it was the Predator's high-tech alloy weapons or anything else.

The Alien Queen's fan-shaped shell is one, although there are also obvious cracks on the shell.

But it's not a big problem. The carapace on the Alien Queen's head is large enough that even if a part of it is cut off, it would be enough to make a shield.

The only problem is that the Alien Queen has become fearful.

Despite the Alien Queen's imposing presence and destructive power in the movies, it's not as bad as she appears in real life.

But that's because the Alien Queen's size and strength completely overwhelmed humans and ordinary Predators. Now that she realized her strength was no match for Roy's, she actually tried to run away.

The Alien Queen is ultimately responsible for reproduction, not for fighting.

If she could crush the enemy, the Alien Queen would definitely be willing to fight, but now...

With a roar, the Alien Queen ordered her two royal guards to hold Roy back, while she turned and charged towards the passage, trying to use her massive body to force open the exit and escape.

Two of the Queen's guards lunged at Roy, but were stopped by four Predators.

The Predator captain made a gesture toward Roy, and then began fighting the Queen's guards in a two-on-one fashion.

In fact, if Roy were to take action, the Queen's Guard probably wouldn't last more than a few seconds, but since the Predator wanted to help, Roy didn't refuse.

With a wave of her hand, the Leviathan Axe flew back into her grasp, just as the Alien Queen successfully broke through the gate and rushed out of the pyramid.

This guy is incredibly stubborn, and his strength is astonishing; his strength attribute is likely close to 100.

"Want to run?"

Roy rushed up behind the Alien Queen in a few steps, grabbed her long tail, and began to drag her backward.

Then a shocking scene unfolded: the gigantic alien queen was dragged along by Roy, unable to move an inch, and even began to back away.

This situation startled the Predator and the Queen's Guard so much that they forgot to fight and stared blankly at Roy's actions.

It turns out that a Strength attribute of less than 100 is vastly different from a normal Strength of 115.

Roy was only able to break the sound barrier by throwing weapons after his strength exceeded 100.

"Come back you!"

Roy used all his strength to pull the Alien Queen, dragging her to the ground.

The alien queen was going crazy; she actually twisted off her own tail and continued to escape.

The spraying acidic blood obstructed Roy's vision and movement. Although he felt that his physical attribute of 141 should be able to withstand the Alien Queen's blood, his clothes and hair probably wouldn't be able to.

If Roy were to lose a few hairs in the rush of chasing, it would be a huge loss for him.

Since the Alien Queen couldn't escape anyway, Roy chose to take a slightly detour and chased after her through the hole she had smashed open.

The frantically fleeing alien queen quickly arrived at the tunnel, and with her sharp claws, the smooth tunnel posed no obstacle.

However, the panicked alien queen did not notice that a small red thing had silently crawled onto her body.

Compared to the size of the Alien Queen, this little thing is about the size of an ant.

However, this time, the little thing really did drive a big vehicle.
