Chapter 252 Closed Room
Madison glanced at Zoe with a disdainful expression.

"Tch, if you really listened to Roy that much, why did you spit it out last time when he told you to swallow that thing?"

Upon hearing this, Zoe immediately blushed as red as a teapot.

"How can that be the same! And it wasn't that I deliberately threw up; it's just that Roy's portion was too large for me to swallow!"

Maria watched Madison and Zoe driving recklessly, speechless.

"That's enough, you two! Is this the time to argue about this?"

Madison and Zoe both shut up, but the problem remained unresolved.

In the end, Madison came up with a solution.

"Let's vote! Since we're a group, let's decide through a democratic vote! Raise your hand if you oppose investigating the motel owner!"

Only Zoe raised her hand, looking at Maria in surprise.

"How come even you agree with Madison's adventurous plan?"

“I think we can’t rely on Roy forever, otherwise what’s the point of the Apocalypse Society?”

Now that the vote is over, there's nothing more to say.

In the latter half of the night, the three witches began their operation.

The main person in charge of the operation was actually Zoe, who, after experiencing the Witch of the High Priest incident, finally began to seriously study witchcraft.

In reality, Zoe's talent for witchcraft is quite good, and her magical potential is extraordinary. It's just that she was ruined by this speechless Black Widow talent.

After Zoe began to seriously study witchcraft, she mastered quite a few useful minor witchcraft spells in just over a month, such as invisibility and hypnosis.

These minor spells are certainly not strong enough to deal with witches, but they are perfectly adequate to deal with an ordinary person without special abilities.

As for Madison and Maria, they can only provide cover, because they have been focusing on developing their witch talents lately, and are relatively weak in other areas.

Zoe, who had secretly arrived at the motel front desk, discovered that the owner was not there, and there was no one in the back either.

This is a little strange.

So Zoe searched around the motel and then found the motel owner by the roadside.

According to the plan the three had previously devised, Zoe's task was to hypnotize the motel owner so that the three of them could interrogate him together.

But seeing that the hotel owner seemed to be waiting for someone, Zoe changed her plans. She wanted to see what the owner was waiting for.

Soon, a van pulled up to the side of the road, and three burly men wearing strange gray protective suits got out.

(Approximate appearance of protective clothing)
Wearing these protective suits in this weather clearly indicates a problem.

The three men in protective suits greeted the motel owner; they clearly knew each other.

Are those three people you mentioned still in the room?

“They’re still here! I’ve been watching their room the whole time, and no one has come out.”

Looking at it this way, Zoe was just lucky; if she had come out a few minutes earlier, she might have been seen by the hotel owner.

After the three people in protective suits finished talking to the owner, they headed towards the motel, their target being the three people's room.

Just as Zoe was hesitating about whether to make a move, she saw all three people in protective suits pull out firearms, and not pistols, but shotguns.

Realizing something was wrong, Zoe quickly gave a coded signal, mimicking the croaking of a frog.

"That's Zoe's signal! Something must have happened outside!"

The lights in the room were already off, so Maria quietly peeked out from behind the curtains without fear of being discovered.

Then Maria saw three people in protective suits, carrying shotguns, approaching their room.

"Damn it! That innkeeper was definitely up to something! Three enemies have arrived!"

"There are only three of them. If we attack together, it shouldn't be a problem!"

Madison stood behind the door, while Maria looked out the window. Maria spoke when the three people in protective suits stood in the doorway.

"Do it!"

Madison immediately activated his telekinesis ability, and the door panel flew out like a cannonball, catching the three people at the door off guard.

Two people in protective suits were taken down, and the remaining person immediately picked up a shotgun to shoot Madison, but at that moment, his hands were suddenly twisted off by an invisible force, so he was unable to pull the trigger.

This is Maria's soul substitute. The moment Madison opened the door, she sent her sister Alan out to assist Madison.

Then Madison reached out and controlled the three suits to keep slamming into the wall, quickly knocking the three of them unconscious.

At this moment, the motel owner in the distance sensed that something was wrong and immediately tried to escape.

When he turned around, he saw the girl who hadn't appeared before standing in front of him, with a pure and innocent smile on her face.

"Go to sleep..."

"How did you..."

Before he could finish speaking, the guy fell into a deep sleep.

In just one minute, the three people in protective suits and the hotel owner were all dealt with.

The three little witches tied up the four people and began to torture them.

"Are you witches?"

The first thing the three people in protective suits said after being awakened was this, which clearly shows that they also know something about witches.

"Hmph! Good that you know! If you don't want to suffer, tell me right now who you are and why you attacked us!"

Madison put on a sassy expression, trying to intimidate the three people in protective suits.

The problem is that the three little witches are either beautiful or cute, and they are not intimidating at all. The three people in protective suits are not afraid of them at all.

"Since you dare to trespass here, be prepared to be burned to ashes by the wrath of the King of Wrath!"

These three protective suits were tough nuts to crack, and the little witches had no experience in interrogation. They interrogated them for a long time but couldn't get any results, which made Madison so angry that she wanted to kill them directly.

Maria stopped Madison.

"No! I promised Roy I wouldn't kill people indiscriminately, and I won't stand by and watch you kill people!"

"Then what should we do? Let them go?"

"Let's leave them in the room. By the time their companions find them, we'll be long gone."

After thinking for a moment, Madison agreed to Maria's choice and then began interrogating the motel owner.

The innkeeper wasn't as tough as the three in protective suits. With just a little threat from the little witches, he spilled everything.

It turns out that the hotel owner did indeed move from Silent Hill, and so did the three guards.

The residents of Silent Hill are mostly followers of the cult of the Wrathful King, so they are very united.

After the incident twenty years ago, the residents of Silent Hill moved into New Centrelia, bringing with them the cult of the King of Wrath.

Because of America's policy of religious freedom, the Lord of Wrath's cult began to take root in New Centreeria. They have been guarding the secrets of Silent Hill, and anyone who tries to find them is considered an enemy.

"So that's it!"

Madison looked thoughtful. If the motel owner was telling the truth, then the three of them might be facing the power of an entire city. "Madison, what should we do now?"

Zoe was a little scared after hearing what the hotel owner said.

"There's nothing to be afraid of! I don't believe the cult of the King of Wrath can completely control a city with a population of over 100,000. We just need to keep a low profile from now on."

The three little witches knocked the motel owner unconscious and then threw him into another room.

This motel is definitely not a place for them to stay; the little witches must find another place to rest.

However, this is the outskirts of New Centella, and it's quite a walk to get into the city center. None of the three of them are the type to exercise regularly.

So the little witches drove the motel owner's pickup truck to the city and, thanks to Madison's money, found a five-star hotel to stay in.

"This can actually be considered a three-star hotel? The countryside is the countryside!"

Madison was somewhat dissatisfied with the hotel's environment. She wasn't the kind of naive girl who would express dissatisfaction with the hotel she had just checked into.

"Alright, Madison, let's get some rest, or we won't be able to get up tomorrow!"

Maria yawned and lay on the soft bed, not wanting to get up at all.

Madison couldn't resist tapping Maria's taillights.

"Idiot, now is not the time to sleep!"

Maria turned over and looked at Madison.

"Anything else?"

"We should take turns keeping watch to ensure that no accidents happen!"

Madison's suggestion made perfect sense, and Zoe couldn't help but nod in agreement.

"That's right! We should arrange the night watch order properly!"

Maria rubbed her eyes.

"Anyway, I'm too sleepy to take the first shift!"

"How about this: I'll take the first shift, Madison will take the second shift, and Maria will take the last shift. How about each of us takes three hours?"

Madison and Maria agreed to Zoe's arrangement, so after washing up, they went to sleep.

Often, if you stay up late for fun, you'll feel very energetic.

However, if the same all-nighter becomes part of work, then the same person will feel extremely tired.

Zoe is the same way now; even turning on the TV to watch a program can't keep her awake, and she keeps yawning.

After three long hours, when it was time to change shifts, Zoe couldn't wake Madison no matter what she did; the guy was sleeping like a log.

"Madison, wake up! If you don't wake up, I'm going to hit you!"

Enraged, Zoe repeatedly slapped Madison's thick taillights until she woke up.

"Hmm? Is it my turn to be on duty?"

"Otherwise what? You slept for ten extra minutes!"

"Oh, you go to sleep, I'll go make a cup of coffee."

Unfortunately, the coffee couldn't seduce Madison's sleepiness; she dozed off on the sofa, completely unaware of the figure outside the suite.

"Madison? Madison? Why are you asleep?"

Maria was quite self-disciplined from a young age and would wake up on her own without being called. So when she woke up, she found that she had overslept, while Madison, who was supposed to wake her up, was dozing on the sofa.

Madison opened her eyes in confusion; how could a pampered girl like her have that kind of willpower?

"Am I...am I asleep?"

"Thankfully nothing happened! Madison, go to bed and get some sleep. I'll take over the watch."

At eight o'clock in the morning, Zoe and Madison woke up one after another. The three girls washed up and were about to go out to get something to eat when they suddenly found that the front door could not be opened.

"How could this happen? Is the door broken?"

Zoe turned the handle in surprise, only to find that the door seemed to be fixed in place with the surrounding space and did not move at all.

"Move aside, let me try!"

Madison used his telekinesis to move the door, but found that even his ability to move objects weighing over ten tons couldn't budge it.

"Something's wrong!"

Maria also activated her ability, but her sister Erica's attack was unable to break down the door, and there was not even the slightest feedback from being hit.

"Why is this happening?"

The three little witches looked at each other, wondering what had happened.

"How about we call the front desk and see?"

Although she knew that making a phone call would most likely be useless given the current strange situation, Zoe still wanted to give it a try.

As expected, neither landline nor mobile phone had a signal.

Moreover, when Madison tried to open the window to go out, he found that the window, like the door, blended into the surrounding space, and there was no feedback from any attack.

Although the three little witches could still see the bustling streets outside through the window, their room felt as if it were isolated from the outside world.

"Damn it! Someone must have cast a spell on this room while we were sleeping last night!"

After ruling out all other possibilities, this was the only one Zoe could think of.

"So, after we arrived at this hotel last night, we were discovered by the cultists? Did they think we were too difficult to deal with, so they trapped us in this way?"

Thinking of this, Madison's expression turned very ugly.

Three-star hotel rooms usually have some bottled water or food, but that's certainly not enough to keep the three little witches going for long.

To make matters worse, because there was no signal on the telephone and cell phone, the three little witches were unable to contact the outside world and had no way of telling anyone that they were trapped in the room.

In this situation, Maria began to blame Madison.

"Madison, how dare you say that! If you hadn't dozed off last night, we wouldn't be in this mess!"

"Nonsense! Even if I was dozing off, I can be sure no one entered the room, so those guys performed the magic outside. It has nothing to do with whether I was dozing off or not!"

Madison made things convenient for herself, but Maria continued to criticize her.

"Even if you were outside, you should at least be able to hear some noise if you weren't dozing off, right? It wouldn't be like this now."

The two argued more and more fiercely, giving Zoe a real headache.

"Stop arguing! Is this the time to fight? Let's think of a solution!"

With Zoe's mediation, Madison and Maria each turned their faces away and snorted coldly.

There was certainly no easy solution; this magic was clearly beyond the knowledge level of the three little witches. All they could do was pray that Roy could find this place before they starved to death.

So, where is Roy now?
