Chapter 195 Kaka escapes and is rescued

Kaka's voice was icy, and the other male Fire Phoenixes pounced on Ophelia.

However, just as they were about to reach Ophelia, several arrows shot out from the bushes.

The speed was so fast that the males didn't even have time to react, and they were all injured.

Some were shot in the arm, some in the shoulder, and some even had their necks pierced by the bullet.

Kaka turned around in surprise, looking at what was happening behind him, and thought to himself that something was wrong.

Ophelia had planned this all along.

Kaka helped Brada up and applied the medicine from his waist to Brada's wound.

“Kill her for me, kill her!” Brada was furious.

He was spitting blood as he spoke, and he knew he was going to die.

"Young Master, I'll take you back to the Holy Capital."

“It’s no use.” Brada’s face was pale, and his eyes were bloodshot.

"Go back to the capital quickly and find my father." He said these words with his last breath, and then he breathed his last.

Kaka's eyes were filled with rage, his fists clenched so tightly they cracked, as he prepared to attack Ophelia.

Just then, a huge figure pounced on him.

He looked up and saw a pterosaur with white wings.

"Young Master Zeref".

Kaka was greatly shocked.

He quickly realized why Ophelia, a mere female from a small tribe, dared to attack their young master; it turned out that her backer was Zeref.

So the young master's previous guess was probably true.

Zeref really did have another little female in the City of Beasts, and this little female is probably Ophelia.

"Young Master Zelei, how can you do this to Princess Sophie?"

"You helped her kill Young Master Brada. Do you want to make an enemy of the Fire Phoenix Clan?"

"Who said I killed Brada?" Zeref asked casually, having transformed into human form.

Kaka's pupils contracted slightly as he understood the meaning behind Zeref's words.

However, since he had promised the young master to help him avenge his family, he could not die today.

So, despite losing an arm, Kaka escaped the encirclement, covered in arrows.

Zeref raised his hand. "There's no need to chase anymore." Kaka has been hit by so many swords; he can't possibly be alive.

Klein disagreed. "We can't just let him go like that. We need to see him alive or dead." He never took any chances.

I have always believed in striking hard and eliminating all threats.

“Yes, Taylor, you take a few of your tribesmen and search the area. You must find Kaka.” Having gone through the Tiger Fang incident, Ophelia would no longer be soft-hearted and easily let her enemy go.

On the other side, Kaka, clutching his injured shoulder, stumbled and ran to the entrance of a tribe, where he fainted.

Kosa, who had just returned from hunting, saw a person lying on the ground and went over to check on him out of curiosity.

He noticed Kaka's severed, fiery red wing and frowned. "The Fire Phoenix Clan? From the Holy Capital?"

Khosa stroked his chin and finally decided to take the person back to the tribe.

Solo was worried when he saw that Kosa had brought back a male covered in blood. "Where did you bring this back from? It's so badly injured, it's probably not that simple."

"You must send him out of the Snow Wolf Clan quickly." He didn't want to get into trouble.

Kosa shook his head and pulled the arrows out of Kaka's body.

"Father, look what this is!"

Solo looked down at the blood-stained arrow fletching. "Is this a weapon?"

"The skin of male Fire Phoenixes is tough, and ordinary bone knives cannot hurt them at all."

"The fact that this branch could injure him shows that it is quite powerful."

"If we could also make such weapons, how could our tribe not grow stronger?"

Solo was intrigued by Kosa's words and examined the arrow in his hand closely. He reached out and touched the arrowhead, tapping it. "What is this thing? It's so hard!"

Kosa lowered his eyes in deep thought. "Father, where is your clan chief's token?"

Solo looked at the arrow and then took out the clan leader's token from his body. The two items were almost identical in color and appearance.

"Is this iron?"

“But iron is very brittle and can’t hurt anyone at all,” Solo said, voicing his doubts.

Kosa nodded. "It seems we'll only know the answer when he wakes up."

"But he's so badly injured, can he even survive?" Solo didn't have much hope that Kaka would live.

“I have given him the hemostatic medicine and wound medicine from the Fu tribe. Whether he lives or dies depends on his fate.”

Kosa looked at the unconscious Kaká and thought to himself.

You must do your best; he gave him the only wound medicine he had.

Because Kaka carried the hope of strengthening the Snow Wolf Clan, Kosa and Solo took great care of him for the next few days.

Three days later, Kaka woke up from his coma in the early morning.

He opened his eyes and looked at the unfamiliar surroundings in the room, feeling wary.

He struggled to sit up in bed, but the pain from his wound made him gasp.

The noise woke Kosa, who was sitting by the bed. He rubbed his hair impatiently, looking displeased.

"Can't a person get any sleep?"

Kaka has had a fever for the past few days. He took care of her all night and finally managed to fall asleep, only to be woken up again.

"Where is this?" Kaka asked in a hoarse voice.

Upon hearing the male voice, Kosa regained consciousness. "You're awake, male Fire Phoenix."

Kaka looked wary when he saw that Kosa recognized him.

"I am Khosa. Don't worry, it's safe here, we won't hurt you."

"Why did you save me?" Kaka didn't believe that the male in front of her had saved her out of kindness.

Kosa made no attempt to conceal his purpose, stating bluntly, "I want to know where you got this thing from?"

He fiddled with the arrow fletching in his hand, his expression serious.

Kaka stared at the arrow in his hand, his eyes darkening. "It's a weapon thrown by the Fu tribe."

"The Fu tribe?" This is a bit tricky.

Why did they want to kill you?

Kaka clenched his fists so tightly his knuckles turned white. "I discovered their secret, and they want to kill me to silence me."

"What secret?" Kosa asked, somewhat curious.

"These are things you can't know. You saved me, and once I return to the Holy Capital and finish what I want to do, I will repay you."

Kaka was unaware of Kosa's background, so he did not reveal the truth.

Kosa noticed his wariness and chuckled. "The Fu tribe, what a coincidence! We have some grudges with the Fu tribe."

"If you need any help, just say so."

"Do you have a grudge against the Fu tribe?"

“The chief of the Fu tribe was my brother’s ex-girlfriend, and she also killed my brother. She also took away half of our tribe’s territory.”

"Is this the Snow Wolf Clan?"

Kaka knew that Ophelia and the Snow Wolf tribe had a grudge when she investigated the Fu tribe before.

“That’s right, I am the son of the chieftain of the Snow Wolf Clan.”

Upon learning that it was the Snow Wolf Clan, who had a grudge against Ophelia, Kaka was no longer in a hurry to return to the Holy Capital.

His injuries haven't healed yet, and traveling back to the capital for several days might be difficult. In that case, he'll stay with the Snow Wolf Clan for a while.

Kaka shared his thoughts, and Kosa welcomed them.

"Of course, it would be our honor to help you."
