Chapter 410 Full Landing
In the dead of night, the moonlight was completely swallowed up by the sea.

On the cliffs of Crescent Island, the sea breeze carries a salty, fishy smell.

Scorpion stood atop the cliff, his gaze fixed on the churning sea in the distance like that of a hawk, his voice low and resolute: "If they want to come up, they can only break through from here."

"You mean special forces?" Chatchai gripped the dagger at his waist, his Adam's apple bobbing. "This is a great place for an ambush, isn't it?"

Scorpion slowly turned his head, a cold smile curling at the corner of his lips: "Ambush? Our abilities are barely enough to satisfy their whims."

"Where do we go after they get ashore?" Chatchai's voice trembled.

"What right do they have to kill us?"

"Because this island has the hostages they want!"

“But the hostages aren’t in our hands right now. Whoever has the hostages is their target.” Scorpion pulled out a half-smoked cigar from his pocket, lit it with a lighter, and the smoke swirled in the wind before dissipating.

Chachai's brows furrowed, his mind a complete mess.

“This is a big problem.” Scorpion took a deep drag on his cigar, his eyes suddenly sharpening. “They will not wait for Tiger Shark to take the ransom and leave with the hostages. Crescent Island is bound to become a fierce battle.”

"So we're just going to wait here?" Chatchai's face turned deathly pale.

“We can’t fight back.” Scorpion threw his cigar at his feet and crushed it. “We can only hide, hide desperately. Hide out of their marching route and make them focus on rescuing the hostages. They want the hostages, not our worthless lives. As long as the hostages are safe, there’s no need to waste our energy searching the mountains.”

"I understand." Chatchai's breathing calmed down slightly.

"This mountainous jungle is our lifeline," Scorpion said, pointing to the dense forest. "Once they find the hostages and leave, we'll follow them. We absolutely cannot stop after they've left."

"The problem is how to evacuate?" Chatchai suddenly remembered something, his voice trembling again. "The navy is here, there won't be a single piece of wood left on this island! We can't possibly swim across to the Pacific Ocean, can we?"

Scorpion didn't say anything, but took out a well-worn satellite phone from his backpack.

Chhay stared blankly at the phone, his eyes wide like saucers.

In a remote mountain village in a Southeast Asian country, a blond, blue-eyed man was climbing a muddy slope when his satellite phone suddenly vibrated.

He took off his headphones and pressed the answer button, his thick French accent tinged with wariness: "Who is this?"

“It’s me, Scorpion.”

The man paused, the dry branches rustling under his feet: "Where are you?"

"I need you to save me."

"What happened?"

“I don’t have time to explain in detail.” Scorpion’s voice was very low. “I’m on Crescent Island in international waters. I need a boat, the sooner the better.”

"A boat?" The man seemed to have heard a fantasy. "Look at this godforsaken place—it's all trees and mountains. Where am I supposed to find you a boat? And we'd have to take you to that wretched island that's not even on the map?"

“I know this is difficult.” Scorpion’s voice was unusually urgent. “But now you’re the only one I can trust… I’ve been betrayed, Michelin.” He paused, his tone suddenly becoming heavy. “Back then, everyone in the company was wiped out, and you were the only one who escaped alive—for the sake of me saving your life, help me this last time.”

Michelin remained silent for a full half minute on the other end of the phone, while the birdsong in the woods could be clearly heard.

"to make."

He finally spoke, his voice hoarse, "But this matter is over, we're even."

"Thanks." Scorpion quickly hung up the phone, his fingertips rapidly tapping coordinates on the screen.

At the pirate base on Crescent Island, murky seawater reached the hostages' waists, and the sobs of the women mingled with the panting of the men, filling the damp air.

Wang Yadong paced back and forth, his eyes sweeping over the terrified faces as he silently checked the number of people in his mind.

He had been wearing that brand-new Brazilian team jersey underneath his clothes; now was the time.

Several pirates were gambling around a campfire, their foul language filling the air.

Wang Yadong glanced at the sky, then turned and walked towards the wooden hut where the women were being held.

Inside the room, Cuifen and Zhang Lina huddled tightly in the corner. When they saw Wang Yadong enter, they huddled together like startled rabbits.

Zhang Lina suddenly raised her head and spat in his face: "Get out of here!"

Wang Yadong wiped his face, squatted down, and said in a very low voice, "Shut up, come with me if you want to live."

"You're dreaming!" Zhang Lina clung tightly to Cuifen, her nails almost digging into the other's flesh. "I know what you're thinking, you're dreaming!"

Wang Yadong's gaze swept over their lips, which were purple from the cold. "You must come with me."

"We'd rather die than go with you! We won't leave!" Cuifen's voice trembled with tears. "What can I say for you to believe me?" Wang Yadong asked anxiously, sweat beading on his forehead. "I'm doing this so you can live!"

"I won't trust a pirate!" Zhang Lina exclaimed, her eyes bloodshot.

Wang Yadong suddenly stood up, grabbed the submachine gun from the corner, and pulled back the bolt with a "click": "You have no choice!"

"Bang--"

The wooden door was suddenly kicked open, and Tiger Shark led several pirates in.

Wang Yadong instinctively raised his gun and aimed it at them.

"We're on the same side!" Tiger Shark recoiled in fright, then shouted, his neck stiff.

Wang Yadong kept his gun pointed at him, staring at them menacingly.

After a few seconds of standoff, he slowly lowered his gun: "Tiger Shark, what are you doing here? This is our territory?"

"Oh? When did Crescent Island become your designated area?" Tiger Shark walked over with a forced smile, his eyes scanning the room before landing on Wang Yadong. Suddenly, his eyes lit up. "These clothes are nice. Where's Scorpion? I need to talk to him."

“He went out to survey the terrain.” Wang Yadong subtly took half a step toward the door. “He likes to memorize everything around him.”

Tiger Shark suddenly reached out and snatched the gun from Wang Yadong's hand.

Wang Yadong reacted extremely quickly, slamming his elbow into Tiger Shark's chest. Taking advantage of Tiger Shark's stagger, he pinned him to the ground, grabbed a nearby rifle, and aimed it at Tiger Shark's head—but more dark gun barrels immediately pressed against the back of Tiger Shark's head.

Wang Yadong froze.

Tiger Shark clutched his chest as he got up, spitting out a mouthful of bloody saliva: "Looks like none of you fucking know your own limitations."

He raised his foot to kick, but then his eyes lit up when he caught sight of Wang Yadong's team uniform. "Where did you get this uniform?"

Wang Yadong pursed his lips and remained silent.

"Take it off yourself, don't force me to get this outfit dirty!" Tiger Shark ripped open his floral shirt.

Wang Yadong stared at the gun barrel pressed against his temple and slowly unbuttoned his team uniform.

Tiger Shark snatched the team uniform and put it on, tugged at the hem, and grinned, "Not bad, not bad. I didn't expect to see such authentic clothes here."

He patted Wang Yadong's face, "I'm giving Scorpion face, otherwise I would have thrown you into the sea to feed the fish long ago!"

"Take these two away!" Tiger Shark gestured with his chin toward his subordinates.

Wang Yadong watched helplessly as they were dragged away, his fists clenched so tightly they cracked.

"Hit him!" Tiger Shark kicked him in the knee.

Wang Yadong suddenly knelt down, the butt of the gun slamming into his forehead, and a burst of blood-red light exploded before his eyes.

The pirates' fists and feet rained down on him. He curled up on the ground, and as his consciousness gradually faded, he could only hear Tiger Shark whistling off-key as he walked away.

An airport in Hebei Province, under the Central Theater Command.

Yuan Lang led the team, followed by the advance squad of twenty-three special forces soldiers, including Feng Yuxiu, Qi Huan, Wu Zhe, Wu Liuyi, and Cheng Cai.

Their mission is to swim across the ocean out of sight of the Crescent Island pirates, land at night, rescue the hostages, and then have artillery fire level the entire Crescent Island.

Meanwhile, the combined arms brigade and the navy have already set off from the sea. Their role is to isolate Japanese waters from the high seas and prevent Japanese escort forces from getting close.

Gao Cheng's reinforced battalion is a reserve force, meaning that if the hostage rescue fails or there is obstruction, they will forcibly land on the island and begin a full-scale annihilation of all the pirates.

"We just received news that the Wolf Fang Special Operations Brigade of the Eastern Theater Command will also be setting off. Our superiors have instructed us to ensure the absolute success of this rescue mission and to cooperate with each other to rescue all the hostages."

Yuan Lang turned around and issued new orders and notices.

"Remember, these pirates are extremely dangerous, so kill them on sight and don't even think about taking them prisoner."

"I will bring you back safely."

"set off!"

"Yes!"
