When I woke up again, I found that I was no longer in the forest where I had changed jobs! The first thing I saw was an unfamiliar ceiling. Then I looked around. The simple furnishings made me sure that someone lived here! "Is anyone there? Is anyone there?" I tried to shout

After waiting for a while and seeing no response, I looked at where I lay. I was lying on a single bed, covered by a blanket! Everything was white! This room looked similar to the standard hotel room in that world, except for the kitchenette! I lifted the blanket and looked at myself. Nothing was missing, which reassured me. I grabbed my knife from the nearby cabinet.

"System, has my job transfer been successful?" I asked the system.
"Congratulations on your successful job transfer. You are now a Sword Master, gaining the following passive skills: Divine Vision, Shadow Flame, Danger Sense, Heart Sword, and Mastery of Sword Weapons." The system said solemnly in a mechanical voice.
"What about the active skills? Why didn't I hear any active skills?" I said puzzledly.
"There are no active skills. It all depends on the experience in your mind!" the system explained.
No wonder I always felt like there was another me talking to me when I was fighting monsters. It turns out that was the so-called combat experience! Doesn't that mean I was already being transferred a large amount of combat experience when I first arrived in this world? Thinking back, that's exactly what happened!

"System, I just remembered, do I still have a novice gift pack?" I asked the system
"Yes, you still have a novice gift pack. Would you like to open it?" the system asked.
"Open it!" I answered decisively
"The novice gift pack has been opened! It contains a famous sword Feishuang and 10 bottles of life potion!" The system announced the contents of the gift pack.
"That's it? Are you sure it's gone? Anyway, equip this new weapon first!" I said with tears on my face.
"Yes, this system never lies!" the system replied

"Um... forget it, I won't tell you all this nonsense. Can I see my own information?" I said helplessly to the system
"Okay, I'll show you right away!" the system replied.

My own information quickly appeared in my field of vision! Name: Lingyun, Occupation: Sword Saint, Current Level: Level 3. "Huh? Just like that?" I asked in confusion.

"Yes. That's all!" the system replied.
"Okay, okay! You're awesome, you can be so arrogant, right?" I said sarcastically, squeezing the system.
"I won't say anything more about this. Can you please open my task interface? I want to see if there are any new tasks!" I said helplessly to the system.
"The task page has been opened! The tasks have been updated! Task 5: Please find the Adventurer's Guild and register as an adventurer! Task 1: Kill goblins. Task : Kill elite goblin. By the way, this house was transferred to you by the system, not to someone else. You have been looking for someone for a long time in vain, which really makes me laugh. Hahaha..." The system laughed at me sarcastically.

"Yeah, yeah, that kid said he wanted to register as an adventurer! You heard it right!" said Drinker B.
I kept hearing words like this, which immediately piqued my curiosity! I quickly asked the maid-dressed lady, "Excuse me, what's going on? Is becoming an adventurer something so rare?"

"To be honest, everyone is afraid of death! There's a powerful monster lurking near this city that specifically targets novice adventurers who go on quests! Because no one knows what the monster looks like, no one believed it at first. Four teams went together, but none of them have returned yet. Everyone is scared because of this! They don't want to die! That's why! This place has almost become a tavern and no one is taking quests! I advise you to wait until the high-level adventurers have dealt with the monster before you proceed!" The maid-dressed lady explained.
After hearing this, I finally understood what was going on! That powerful monster must be the Elite Goblin.

"Yes. It's that elite goblin. This mission can't be completed as a team, only solo. And by the way, the mission rewards are very generous, you definitely won't be disappointed!" The system confirmed my guess.
Of course, these conversations take place in my head and no one else can hear them!
"Miss, thank you for your concern! I must become an adventurer! I have had a dream since I was a child, that is to become an adventurer, even if I lose my life for it! Please tell me how to register as an adventurer! Please!" I begged the maid lady
"Okay, I've advised you before! If you want to register as an adventurer, go to the window and register your identity information! Then place your hand on the test crystal and that's it!" The maid-dressed lady said as if she was talking to a dead person.
I smiled in my heart. You guys don’t know this yet. I’m the one responsible for defeating that mysterious monster! I did everything the young lady said, right up to the last step! The young lady came over again and said, “Good luck!” Then she walked away.

I placed my hand on the test crystal, and soon it glowed with a rich black light, as if swallowing up all light. I hastily pulled my hand away! The woman testing the crystal looked at me, bewildered. Then she looked at the crystal again! With a crisp "crack," the crystal cracked in two!

"My job is unknown! My job is unknown!" The young lady was surprised, and even the people drinking were surprised. I smiled awkwardly and asked, "Does this mean I'm officially an adventurer?"

"Yes... yes... yes, please keep this ID card!" the young lady said in a trembling voice.

I took the ID card and took a quick look. It looked just like the second-generation ID card! I put it in my shirt pocket, found a goblin-killing quest on the notice board, and headed out the door to the quest location!
