Sherlock Holmes at Hogwarts.

Chapter 284 Something’s wrong with you
Hermione did her best to move her fingers slightly in response to Sherlock.
Fortunately, the lights that had gone out overhead came back on at that moment, and the train began to move slowly.
After that, Ron, Cho Chang, and Ginny all regained their mobility.
However, none of them are in good condition.
Sherlock had already squatted down and started examining Harry's body.
He pressed his wrist for a moment, then opened his eyes to take a look. After a few quick movements, he reached a conclusion:
"Pulse normal, heartbeat normal, breathing normal... it was fainting due to fright."
After saying this, he quickly unbuttoned Harry's collar, stood up, took off his luggage again, and, to the astonishment of the group, took out a flat bottle he carried with him and poured it down Harry's throat.
The effect is obvious.
As the pungent smell of brandy wafted through the cubicle, Harry coughed twice and finally opened his eyes.
cold!
A chill that seeps into your bones!
Harry felt himself enveloped in a chill.
It felt as if something was constantly pulling him down.
Not only that, he also heard terrifying screams and terrified pleas coming from afar.
He tried to move his body, but he couldn't move at all.
This was the first time in his life he had ever felt this way; a thick white mist swirled before his eyes, refusing to dissipate.
After a long wait for the white mist to dissipate, Harry finally regained consciousness.
He found his collar undone and the lingering spiciness of brandy on his lips.
Sherlock was leaning over him, holding in his other hand the flat wine bottle he had packed in his suitcase the night before he left.
"Sherlock!"
Harry looked around blankly and found everyone staring at him with concern. Cho Chang and Ginny had tears welling up in their eyes, as if they might fall at any moment.
"What's wrong with me?"
Harry was startled when he opened his mouth; he found his voice was hoarse.
Sherlock hadn't expected Harry to be affected so much. He frowned and said, "Get up first."
Ron quickly came over to help, and the two of them helped Harry back to his seat.
"You fainted because you were too frightened."
Sherlock stared at Harry and noticed his face was covered in cold sweat. He then handed Harry the brandy in his hand: "Have a couple more sips, it'll help."
"I--"
Harry was about to speak when he heard a snapping sound, which startled him.
Professor Lupin looked at Sherlock with surprise and admiration the whole time.
Only then did he break the large piece of chocolate into several pieces.
"Eat it, you'll find it helps more than the drink in your hand."
Professor Lupin said as he distributed chocolates to everyone.
He handed the largest piece to Harry, then said to Sherlock, who was taking the other piece, "You have one too, Holmes. I feel much more at ease with you here. Please excuse me, I need to go and talk to the driver first."
After saying that, he crumpled the empty chocolate wrapper into a ball, stuffed it into his pocket, and walked straight out of the cubicle.
"I don't know."
More cold sweat broke out, and Harry reached out to wipe it away, only to find himself holding brandy in his right hand and chocolate in his left.
Just then, Cho Chang and Ginny stepped in and wiped the sweat from Harry's face.
The two then exchanged a glance, their expressions both somewhat strange.
"Thanks……"
Although Harry also felt very uncomfortable, he was forced to suppress his intense curiosity.
"Sherlock, what just happened?"
“Let me tell you about your condition first,” Sherlock said, looking at the pale-faced Harry. “Something’s wrong with you.”
Harry took a deep breath and described the screams he heard and the overwhelming sense of helplessness he felt.
Sherlock frowned again upon hearing this.
Cho Chang then thoughtfully recounted what had just happened to Harry.
Harry felt increasingly embarrassed as he heard what had happened in those few short minutes.
Apart from Professor Lupin and Sherlock, everyone else was in bad shape.
But no one else lost their composure like him—falling off their seat and convulsing.
Even now, he still feels weak, as if he has just recovered from a bad cold.
Even Ginny, who performed the worst, was only shaking a lot—but she still wiped her sweat, which made Harry feel even more embarrassed.
Professor Lu Ping returned at this moment. He paused as he entered and said, half-jokingly:
"I didn't poison that chocolate..."
Hearing the professor who had saved him say that, Harry felt a little embarrassed and took a bite of the chocolate in his hand.
He was very surprised to feel a sudden surge of heat flowing to his toes and fingertips, driving away the chill brought by the Dementors.
Noticing Harry's expression, Sherlock immediately realized what was going on and took a bite of the chocolate Lupin had given him.
Although not as obvious as Harry's, he still felt the effects of the heat.
After comparing its effects with those of brandy, Sherlock found that both had their own merits. "Interesting."
Sherlock looked at Lupin and found that the latter was also looking at him with approval.
“We’ll be at Hogwarts in ten minutes,” he said, glancing around before fixing his gaze on Harry. “Harry, are you feeling better?”
Harry was a little surprised that Lupin knew his name, but he didn't ask any questions. He just said apologetically, "I'm fine now."
"That's good."
In the next ten minutes, Harry finally realized that the monster that had made him faint was a Dementor, a guard of Azkaban.
I had only heard about it before, but when I faced it head-on this time, I realized how terrifying it was.
But he still couldn't accept it. Why was he the only one who fainted?
Cho Chang and Ginny didn't return to their own cubicles. Instead, they sat down on either side of Harry, looking at him with worried eyes.
Ron looked at Ginny, who had squeezed between him and Harry, and then at Cho Chang, who was on Harry's other side near the door, and didn't know what to say.
Why do I feel like I shouldn't be here?
The two didn't get up and leave until the train stopped at Hogsmeade Station.
"Harry, it's okay."
Before leaving, Cho Chang patted Harry's hand and said, "Once we get to the castle, a good night's sleep will do the trick."
Ginny isn't quite as relaxed and at ease with Harry as Cho Chang is right now, but she still offered him a few words of comfort.
The students also began to get off the bus.
Just like last year, it was another night of torrential rain.
This time, however, Harry skillfully buffed everyone around him with a water and fire immunity spell.
"Qiu taught me this."
Amidst the surprised looks of his friends, Harry said somewhat embarrassedly.
"Oh……"
Everyone smiled knowingly.
This did help Harry's fear of the Dementors dissipate considerably.
"First-year students, this way!"
The familiar voice rang out again, and Rupert Hagrid, standing 11 and a half feet tall, appeared at the train station just as he had two years before.
This year, Ginny won't have to go boating with Hagrid anymore.
Because of the Dementors incident that happened on the train, the train arrived later than scheduled.
Hagrid only had time to wave goodbye to Sherlock and the others before leaving with the first-year students.
Just like last year, students other than first graders came to a rough, muddy path outside, where more than a hundred carriages pulled by Thestrals were already waiting.
Aside from a very few people like Sherlock and Luna, no one could see them and could only guess that the carriages were powered by magic.
Just like last year, Sherlock, Harry, Hermione, and Ron rode in one carriage.
Harry felt much better after eating the chocolate, but he still felt weak and listless.
Hermione and Ron glanced at Harry every now and then, seemingly worried that he would collapse again.
Fortunately, this did not happen in the end.
They were luckier than last year; by the time the carriage arrived at Hogwarts Castle, the rain had stopped.
The four followed the crowd up the stone steps, through the majestic oak gate, and into the spacious and secluded foyer.
The auditorium ceiling was still enchanted, perfectly replicating the real weather outside—a dark, overcast sky.
At this moment, a voice suddenly came:
"Holmes, Potter, Granger, I need to see all three of you!"
Harry and Hermione turned around in surprise.
Sherlock raised an eyebrow, already subconsciously deducing the other party's intention in searching for the three of them.
Professor Minerva McGonagall's shout in the crowd naturally attracted the attention of others.
To everyone's surprise, Sherlock took the lead and walked towards Professor McGonagall.
Harry and Hermione exchanged a glance and followed closely behind.
Ron stared wide-eyed at his three friends as they left him behind, looking like he hadn't even gotten on the bus yet.
“There’s no need to be so tense—I just want to talk to you in my office,” Professor McGonagall said, glancing at Ron. “Weasley, you can go over there!”
Professor McGonagall spoke, and Ron could only put away his meme and continue walking towards the Great Hall with the others.
Sherlock, Harry, and Hermione followed Professor McGonagall through the foyer, up the marble staircase, and down the corridor to her office.
This was not the first time Sherlock had come to Professor McGonagall's office.
He looked around and saw that the place was still the same as last time. The space was not large, but it was very clean and tidy, and a warm fire had been lit.
Professor McGonagall gestured for the three of them to sit down, and then she herself took a seat behind her desk.
Her gaze swept back and forth between the three of them, finally settling on Harry, and she said bluntly:
"Professor Lupin sent an owl ahead of time to say you weren't feeling well on the train, Potter."
