Chapter 334: The World of Storms, Nie Feng, Bu Jingyun
Chapter 334: The World of Storms, Nie Feng, Bu Jingyun
As for other characters, such as Ren Yingying, Ren Woxing, Dongfang Bubai, Zuo Lengchan, Fang Zheng and others, Li Weidong had no interest in them. Although these people were all very famous, for Li Weidong, these people were not worthy of his special attention.
Next is the second world. Li Weidong is much more interested in this world because it is the Fengyun World. There are many famous people in this world, many talented people, and there are also divine beasts.
Let’s not talk about the mythical beasts first, let’s talk about the various characters in the world of Fengyun.
First of all, there are Nie Feng and Bu Jingyun, the protagonists of the Fengyun world.
Nie Feng is a man of integrity, who hates evil with an abhorrent attitude. He has a gentle and calm temperament, as pure as water.
Born in Niejia Village in Jiuquan, he was very skilled in Qinggong and was known as the God of Wind.
He has the crazy blood inherited from generation to generation in the Nie family flowing in his body. Once it erupts, it can unleash terrifying destructive power. He once lost his left eye to save Bu Jingyun.
Together with Bu Jingyun, he is known as the legend of the Central Plains martial arts. Compared to Bu Jingyun, Nie Feng is not favored by Li Weidong because he is too saintly. It is not suitable for someone like him to learn the magic martial arts, otherwise he would not be so bad in the later period.
Bu Jingyun was born in Bujia Village, Hangzhou, and was a reclusive individual. His father, Bu Yuanting, was a swordsmith who passed away in another place. His mother, Yunong, remarried into the Huo family with their son, changing his name to Huo Jingjue. Huo Butian treated him as his own son and taught him all the Huo family swordsmanship. Huo Butian's refusal to join Xiongba led to the Huo family's extermination. Sitting opposite the stone lions at the Huo family gate, Huo Jingjue watched the annihilation unfold without a tear, thus lowering the assassin's guard. He then attacked, but was too young to be defeated. Fortunately, a passing Wuming disciple saved his life.
Huo Jingjue was rescued and taken to Wuming's residence, where he met Wuming and Jianchen. At night, he saw Wuming teaching Jianchen sword techniques, from whom he learned the "Unexplained Sorrow" move. He then challenged Jianchen with the Huo family sword technique, but was easily defeated by Jianchen. In a moment of desperation, he used "Unexplained Sorrow" to defeat Jianchen, and then took advantage of the situation to ask Wuming to be his disciple. Wuming did not say anything nor refuse, but the next day he saw Bu Jingyun killing a crippled doe. Wuming felt that his violent temper was too strong and wanted to send him to the monk Buxu. Huo Jingjue did not understand this move and was indignant. He left under the cover of night, but Jianchen tried to stop him in vain. He joined the Tianxia Association under the name "Bu Jingyun" and waited for an opportunity to seek revenge. Within the association, he was appreciated by Xiongba, who accepted him as his second disciple and taught him the "Paiyun Palm."
Later, he helped Xiongba to seize Huo Kirin and Xueyin, and happened to encounter the changes in Lingyun Cave and saw Huo Qilin. Although he survived, he was left with psychological trauma.
Twelve years later, Bu Jingyun has become the leader of the Feiyun Hall of the Tianxia Association. He is famous and unpredictable in battle. People call him "the unpredictable cloud heart".
In search of the traitor, he battled Shi Wuzun, destroyed Liancheng Village, and killed its leader, Guan Qi. Later, he sought out Kong Ci, whose affectionate relationship was accidentally discovered by Nie Feng, who left in anger. On his way, he was stopped by Duan Lang, Shi Wuzun, and Dugu Ming, and was severely injured by the Sword Saint. He was captured and imprisoned in Lingyun Cave. Later, when Nie Feng met Duan Lang in Lingyun Cave, he discovered him and helped him escape, and they returned to the Tianxia Society together.
After returning to the Tianxia Association, Bu Jingyun was tormented by his inner shadow. He had a secret meeting with Kong Ci at night, but was once again caught by Nie Feng. A fierce duel ensued, and Kong Ci desperately intervened in their fight, blocking a blow for Nie Feng. She was gravely wounded and died. Before her death, she confessed that her life had been manipulated by others, inferior to her own, but in the end, she could die for the man she truly loved. Bu Jingyun, heartbroken, took Kong Ci's body with him. The next day, he fled the Tianxia Association. He defeated the Sword Saint's physical form at the Sanfen Branch School, inadvertently breaking the dead zone of "Sword 23." After escaping, he broke into the Xia Wang Mansion and demanded the "Ice Soul." When he failed, he slaughtered the Xia Wang family. After obtaining the Ice Soul, he broke into the mausoleum, buried Kong Ci, and left the "World-Separating Stone."
He returns to the Tianxia Club and, in the Tianxia Number One Building, obtains the "Unparalleled Sword" left behind by the Sword Master, causing chaos there. Rescued from danger by Qin Shuang, he travels to Fengxi Village to meet Nie Feng and his companions. He is then surrounded by Xiongba and his band of Tianchi assassins. During the bloody battle, Shi Wuzun infuses Bu Jingyun with the power of the Tathagata Palm, killing him and severing his left arm. He is rescued by Yu Yue and his daughter, who gift him the Qilin Arm. Later, Bu Jingyun encounters the "God Captor." Seeking revenge by killing Xiongba, Bu Jingyun battles the God Captor, ultimately slaying him with "inexplicable grief." Yu Yue leaves, leaving his daughter, Chuchu, in his care.
Seeking revenge for his actions against the Tianxiahui, Bu Jingyun entrusted Chuchu to the Zhonghua Pavilion. However, he encountered Wuming again at the Tianxiahui. Wuming, believing Huo Jingjue to be too violent, attempted to seize his peerless sword to prevent Bu Jingyun from killing others. After defeating Bu Jingyun, Wuming fled with the sword, with Bu Jingyun following closely. Reluctantly, Wuming arranged a duel with him. The night before, Bu Jingyun defeated the monks of Miyin Temple and then defeated Jianchen in a single blow. In the duel, he fought to the death, ultimately winning back the sword.
Later, under Pojun's guidance, Bu Jingyun found Xiongba. Youruo pleaded for her father but was assassinated by Jianchen. Xiongba was completely disheartened and died at the hands of Tanlang's sword.
Bu Jingyun clashed with Pojun and unexpectedly met Nie Feng. The two discovered Jian Chen's scandal. He rushed to Zhonghua Pavilion to inform Wuming of the news. After learning that Wuming had left, he rushed to Jianzong again and rescued the poisoned and injured Wuming. After rescuing Wuming in time, Bu Jingyun single-handedly stopped Guicha Luo and fell off a cliff. Fortunately, he was saved by the Sword Emperor. When he returned to Bujia Village to start his life with Chuchu again, he was captured and taken to the palace. Nie Feng risked his life to save him, and he was spared after the Sword Emperor interceded for him. As he was leaving, the Juewu God invaded, and the Sword Emperor died fighting. Led by the Pig Emperor, Fengyun met with the First Evil Emperor to seek salvation. To save the world, Nie Feng sacrificed his life and became a demon, mastering the "Demon Blade" and leaving.
Because Jue Wushen possesses an indestructible golden body, a peerless sword can only be broken by a sharpened blade. Wuming offers Bu Jingyun the gift of his own blood and sweat, but Bu Jingyun refuses. Wuming then challenges him for not accepting him as a disciple, ultimately colliding with the sword's blade. Wuming, deeply concerned for the common good and having long been the person Bu Jingyun holds most in high esteem, is overcome with emotion by the thought of wrongly killing someone, tears streaming down his face, the peerless sword being sharpened!
Wuming then reveals his precious armor, revealing his ulterior motives: to untie Bu Jingyun's obsession. Bu Jingyun's previous martial arts, built on hatred, stagnated after Xiongba's death, his realm and mind unable to expand. Now, with Wuming's guidance, his vision suddenly opens up, and he imparts his swordsmanship to Bu Jingyun. They then journey to the Imperial City to battle Jue Wushen. A sharpened, peerless sword shatters his immortal body. Following this battle, Jue Wushen is injured and flees with the Emperor, the Dragon King, and Fengwu back to the Wushen Jue Palace in Japan.
After a hasty farewell from Chuchu, Bu Jingyun, Wuming, Guihu, and Pojun rushed to Wushen Jue Palace. With the help of the Japanese Emperor, they infiltrated the palace and engaged Jue Wushen several times, allowing Guihu to rescue the Emperor and his companions. Jue Wushen used his senior brother, Quandao Shen, to hold Fengyun and Wuming back, while Wuming transferred his power to Fengyun. Bu Jingyun mastered the seven powers within him, greatly increasing his strength. However, the Emperor attempted to manipulate the situation and bribed Juexin, who turned against them, killing Jue Wushen and taking Nie Feng with him. Bu Jingyun, Wuming, and the others fell into an explosive trap set by the Emperor and were eventually rescued by Huolang.
After Bu Jingyun returned to the Central Plains, Wuming officially accepted Bu Jingyun as his disciple and taught him all his swordsmanship. Under Wuming's guidance, Bu Jingyun created the "Cloud Ten" Palm and the three "Cloud Ten" Swords.
At this moment, the Emperor attempted to seize the Central Plains Dragon Vein, and Bu Jingyun rushed to Lingyun Cave to stop him. During the battle, he discovered Nie Feng also in the fight, now under the Emperor's control. Nie Feng ultimately took the Dragon Vein and fled. Bu Jingyun then engaged the Emperor in a duel, defeating his "perfect move" and sustaining severe injuries. Wuming then appeared, and the Emperor, defeated by Wuming, committed suicide.
Bu Jingyun pursues Nie Feng to retrieve the Dragon Vein, hoping to use it to help him quell his demonic nature. At a crucial moment, Duan Lang intervenes and seizes the Dragon Vein. The battle results in its destruction, Qin Shuang's death, and Nie Feng's demonic nature spiraling out of control. To prevent Nie Feng from becoming a demon, Bu Jingyun joins forces with the First Evil Emperor, Nie Renwang, and others to battle Nie Feng. Ultimately, the First Evil Emperor dies, and Bu Jingyun rescues Nie Feng and Second Dream at the last moment, only to fall off a cliff himself.
Over a decade later, Bu Jingyun reappears in the martial arts world. It turns out he lost his memory after falling off a cliff. He now lives in Beishui Township as Zhuo Shan, married Zi Ning, and has a son and a daughter. Seeking the peerless sword, remnants of the Sword Worship Villa, along with Huai Kong and others, arrive. In a fierce battle for the sword, Zhuo Shan gradually regains Bu Jingyun's memories and strength. After lending him the sword, he sails out to sea to find safety for his family. However, he is attacked at sea by the Divine Martial Envoy of Tiexin Island, led by twelve sea generals and the Sea Emperor. Although Bu Jingyun defeats the Divine Martial Envoy and kills the Sea Emperor, his daughter Xiaoting disappears overboard. His son Butian dies at the hands of Huai Mie, who has followed him. His wife Zi Ning also dies in his arms. Heartbroken, Zhuo Shan unconsciously brings Zi Ning's body to the mausoleum behind the tomb, shatters the World-Separating Stone with his bare hands, and buries her. After being rebuked by Tie Zhi, he decides to resume his identity as Bu Jingyun.
After regaining his identity, Bu Jingyun first destroyed the Dragon King Temple in Beishui Township and then tracked down members of the Heilu sect, finding their base and Huai Mie. The two arranged a duel. On the day of the duel, Bu Jingyun defeated Huai Mie in five moves. As he was about to kill him, Bu Tian intervened. As father and son reunited, the strange Kuang Sen suddenly appeared and severely injured Bu Tian. After killing him, Bu Jingyun took Bu Tian to a miracle doctor, who retrieved the "Invisible Sword," a sword that "does not recognize even the smallest relatives," and implanted it into Bu Tian's bone, effectively healing him.
Three months later, Bu Jingyun and Bu Tianxun traveled north. In a small village, they encountered robbers. Bu Tian's intervention attracted attention. Jian Chen suddenly appeared to save them. Afterward, Bu Jingyun decided to look for Chu Chu. Jian Chen took her father and son back home. Upon meeting Chu Chu again, she was hesitant and faced numerous unexpected events, but Bu Jingyun and Jian Chen easily managed to resolve them. Finally, Bu Jingyun gave up on Chu Chu and left. Unexpectedly, Jian Chen, Chu Chu, and their family followed Wu Ming and Huang Ying's footsteps and mysteriously disappeared. Bu Jingyun searched for Nie Feng's family, but there was no news either.
Guided by the mysterious Xuan Zhen, Bu Jingyun journeyed to the Black Iron Gate. Recovering a peerless sword, he rescued Tie Kuang Tu from Po Jun's blade, learning from him the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Wuming Huangying. Further guided by Xuan Zhen, Bu Jingyun found the Heaven Gate, where he engaged in a fierce battle with Po Jun amidst the ice and snow. However, at a crucial moment, he was subdued by Emperor Shi Tian and taken into the Heaven Gate. Within the Heaven Gate, he was not only treated well but also reunited with his daughter, Xiao Ting. As he attempted to leave, he was stopped by Po Jun, Duan Lang, and their men. Xuan Zhen reappeared and helped Bu Jingyun and his daughter escape from the Heaven Gate, where they met their master, Xu Fu. From Xu Fu, Bu Jingyun learned that Emperor Shi Tian intended to "slay the dragon with a startling aura," and that Xu Fu hoped Bu Jingyun would collaborate with him. Bu Jingyun agreed and returned to the Heaven Gate, where he and a group of experts accompanied Emperor Shi Tian on a sea slaying of the dragon. Along the way, he also contacted Nie Fengyin. Along the way, the six masters, the Seven Warriors, slayed the dragon. Nie Feng then appeared and joined forces with Bu Jingyun in their first battle against Emperor Shi Tian. Unleashing his "Mahamudra," they fought Emperor Shi Tian to a draw, maintaining their advantage. Later, everyone scrambled for the Dragon Essence. Emperor Shi Tian attempted to destroy it, but was unable to do so. He then struck it apart, splitting it into seven pieces, giving Feng Yun one each. With Jian Chen's sacrifice and the help of the water tribe, they escaped safely. Along the way, they aided Huang Ying, rescued Po Jun, battled Emperor Tian, and persuaded Duan Lang... They rushed to Phoenix Island to reunite with Xu Fu. However, upon discovering something had happened, they hurried back to Wuhuang Mountain.
Fengyun discovered Wuming and his companions captured by the Tianmen at Wuhuang Mountain. While rescuing the hostages, Fengyun discovered that Xu Fu was Emperor Shitian, and the two sides engaged in another fierce battle. Fengyun first tried out his new move, "Heavenly Way Infinite." Though incredibly powerful, the move was countered by Emperor Shitian, splitting Wuhuang Mountain in two. Despite the combined strength of Fengyun and Wuming, Emperor Shitian still managed to manipulate them. Fengyun and Wuming's "Maha Infinite," "Heavenly Way Infinite," and "Ten Thousand Swords Returning to the Origin" were successively broken by Emperor Shitian. Tianjian Wuming was crippled and then captured, leaving Fengyun exhausted in the fierce battle. At Emperor Shitian's "Heavenly Heart Tribulation," Bu Jingyun risked his life, pledging to "die together with Emperor Shitian," ultimately securing their escape. To ensure the strength to continue their escape, Nie Feng abandoned his daughter Nie Qing's treatment and used Dragon Essence to rescue Bu Jingyun. Meanwhile, the Ice Emperor arrived, and Bu Ting died trying to save her father. Upon waking, Bu Jingyun discovered his daughter was near death, beyond redemption. He then unleashed a powerful attack, dismembering the Ice Emperor. To distract Emperor Shi Tian, Feng Yun separated from Duan Lang, who had come to support him. While pursued by Emperor Shi Tian, Bu Jingyun managed to escape by diving into a swamp. He also encountered a group of apes in a cave, demonstrating their otherworldly swordsmanship, which offered some insight.
On the way north to Tianmen, Bu Jingyun aided Huaikong and the others, traveling with Wuer. Before heading to Tianmen, he visited Bu Tian and encountered Lian Xinluo of the Evil Sword Sect and his master, Lian Wuhen. A duel ensued, with Bu Jingyun slightly outmatched in internal strength. He then guided Long Er to Tianmen, where he and Wuer later journeyed together. They first battled Nu Fenglei within the Tianmen, then engaged Emperor Shitian. As they were overwhelmed, Huaikong, armed with the Heavenly Sin, burst in. Fueled by rage, Huaikong fought Emperor Shitian to his death. Bu Jingyun's fighting spirit reignited, and Emperor Shitian was gradually cornered. To counterattack, Emperor Shitian absorbed Nu Fenglei's "Five Thunders Transformed to Ultimate Power," but his power was sapped. He had to frantically abduct the Ghost Tiger for cover, stealing Long Er's Dragon Essence and escaping. Bu Jingyun was stopped by Duan Lang, who had been observing the battle, and was unable to catch up. He ultimately rescued Wuming and returned. Emperor Shitian was killed by Duan Lang, who then obtained the dragon essence hidden by Emperor Shitian, swallowed it, and began to integrate the dragon essence into his power.
With the Tianmen incident settled, Bu Jingyun sent Wuming to the Sword Sect to cultivate his essence. Duanlang, however, was determined to stir up another bloody storm in the martial arts world. After informing Bu Jingyun, he murdered Chuchu and Yun'er right in front of him, forcing him into a desperate battle. Learning that Duanlang had taken two Dragon Essences, Bu Jingyun sought them out to further strengthen himself. Though his search proved unsuccessful, he encountered Pojun, who had forgotten all about his past and only remembered him as his benefactor. With the advice of a genius doctor, Bu Jingyun chose Ni Qiankun over Pojun's Dragon Essence.
On the day of the great battle, Bu Jingyun single-handedly battled Duan Lang. Duan Lang's power far surpassed Bu Jingyun's, and Bu Jingyun died in the battle. Resurrected by the effects of the Ni Qian Kun potion, he strengthened his strength and fought Duan Lang again. His hair turned white due to the potion's effects. After a desperate battle, he pushed the Ni Qian Kun power to the third level, his strength skyrocketing, finally surpassing Duan Lang. With two strikes from the third level, he severely damaged Duan Lang. Bu Jingyun, while still able to heal Nie Feng, transferred his Dragon Essence to Bu Jingyun to save his benefactor. Duan Lang attempted a final final counterattack before his death. Inspired by Wuming, Bu Jingyun channeled Pojun's Dragon Essence into Duan Lang, overwhelmed by the force of the three Dragon Essences and causing his body to explode. He was then slain by Wuming's sword. The burst of power Duan Lang experienced at his death caused an ice collapse and avalanche. After the storm, the wind and cloud, along with the peerless sword, were frozen beneath the "Sword Buried Cliff."
Twenty years later, Bu Jingyun, through his disciple Huo Dong's accidental discovery, was able to absorb the Dragon Essence and awaken from the ice. He brought the still-awakened Nie Feng to the outer reaches of the Great Wall for treatment and helped the Uyghurs repel the Poison Peach Garden. Later, they were stopped by Wu Bei and his Four Distinct Group. During this time, Nie Feng regained consciousness, and the two defeated Wu Bei and his men before returning to the Central Plains. Rushing to Muming Town, they rescued Wu Ming and his men from the Great Evil King's sword, and fiercely battled Juexin, who had acquired a Dragon Essence and wielded the Great Evil King. However, Juexin proved formidable, and the final battle ended when Shen Feng, wielding the "Seven Transformations of Shocking Emotions"—a legacy of the Imperial Shadow—intervened. Seeing the situation was dire, Juexin fled.
After the battle, Bu Jingyun and Tongtian traveled to the Uyghur tribe to seek the miraculous doctor Xue Huatuo to heal his wounds. There, they encountered Wu Wudi, one of the "Top Ten Warriors." Bu Jingyun and Wu Wudi engaged in a duel. Although Bu Jingyun's extensive combat experience caught Wu Wudi off guard, Wu Wudi's Ten Directions Invincibility was too powerful, and even with the absorption of his peerless sword, he was still severely injured. At a critical moment, the ground beneath their feet gave way, and they both fell into the ruins of the ancient city of Loulan. Bu Jingyun, having experienced many hardships and long since seen through life and death, remained calm. Conversely, Wu Wudi, lacking the experience of worldly wisdom, became maddened by his desperate situation. Later, Bu Jingyun discovered the peerless martial art left behind by the King of Loulan—Wuqiu Yi Jue—and gained a profound understanding of the intertwining of yin and yang, the unity of life and death. He escaped danger and rescued Wu Wudi, who had been trapped in a secret room. Wu Wudi admitted that he was defeated, and found the martial virtues that he had once lost in Bu Jingyun.
As for the subsequent plot, Li Weidong did not watch it, but he admired Bu Jingyun's talent and perseverance very much. If there was a chance, Li Weidong wanted to recruit Bu Jingyun under his command.
