Siheyuan: Game of Red Dust
Chapter 333 Linghu Chong, Yue Lingshan, Lin Pingzhi, Yi Lin
Chapter 333 Linghu Chong, Yue Lingshan, Lin Pingzhi, Yi Lin
Although Linghu Chong is the son of destiny in the world of The Smiling, Proud Wanderer, he is inherently cold and selfish. He basically doesn't take other people's affairs seriously, nor does he regard other people's lives as his own, even those with whom he has feelings. Of course, he doesn't take his own life seriously either.
What makes him different from ordinary martial artists, such as Zuo Lengchan, Yue Buqun, and Ren Woxing, is that these people are particularly concerned about martial arts and power; Linghu Chong is not very interested in power, but particularly pursues doing whatever he wants.
Just like Zuo Lengchan and Ren Woxing, who would kill others and put themselves in danger for the sake of power; Linghu Chong, in order to do whatever he wanted, would not hesitate to mess up others, kill others, or even kill himself.
He often shows a tendency to be self-destructive, and at the same time is particularly willing to drag others down with him, even those close to him.
However, he had been indoctrinated with a lot of "ethics" in the Huashan Sect for more than ten years, so in principle he knew what emotions he should have in various situations, but his own nature was the opposite of this, so his behavior was particularly torn.
He promised to deliver Lin Zhennan's last words, but he didn't tell Lin Pingzhi for several months all the way back to Huashan from Hunan, and he didn't take other people's affairs seriously at all.
When he saw Xiang Wentian killing innocent passers-by, he did nothing and did not take other people's lives seriously.
After seeing Ren Woxing force Huang Zhonggong to death and force Danqing to eat poison, he thought Ren Woxing was a great hero.
He showed great affection for Yue Lingshan, but after Yue Lingshan died, he began to complain that Yue Lingshan did not respect him.
He said that he treated his master's wife like his own mother. When he saw his master's wife being molested, he was angry but at the same time he felt that he should not let this ruin his relationship with Ren Woxing and the others.
He and Ren Yingying survived the catastrophe and came out of the stone cave, but were caught in a fishing net by Yue Buqun. Linghu Chong didn't think about how to play a game with Yue Buqun, but saved Ren Yingying and himself. He was grinning and said that it was good for him to die with his beloved wife...
When he saw Ren Woxing grabbing his former junior fellow apprentice, he ignored him.
When Ren Woxing was about to attack the Hengshan Sect, he neither prepared nor dismissed everyone. He just drank heavily every day and dragged a bunch of nuns along, ready to finish them off together...
When Shaolin and Wudang were about to blow up the mountain, he glanced at Yi Lin and thought to himself, "Who in this world is immortal... in another hundred years... it will still be a pile of bones", so let's just die.
This man is cold and selfish by nature, but he has been indoctrinated with "chivalry" and "ethics" for more than ten years in Huashan, so he is particularly torn between his thoughts and actions.
The issue of martial arts in the Siguo Cliff Cave is a vivid example:
He knew very well that he should report it, and he had wanted to report it at one point, but he just didn't report it. He also told Fang Zheng Chongxu that he had always wanted to report Ning Zhongze and Yue Buqun, but he didn't have the "opportunity".
What opportunity did he need? Someone delivered food to him every day at the Cliff of Regret. He asked his fellow apprentice to pass on a message to his master and his mistress, saying that he had something important to report. He used the magic martial arts in the cave to seize Ning Zhongze's sword. Ning Zhongze and Yue Buqun asked him twice where this move came from, and he said he created it himself. In short, he refused to tell anyone. He went down the mountain and went all the way from Huashan in Shaanxi to Henan, and he never said a word during the several months along the way.
He himself is a "hypocritical person without knowing it".
They pursue an extremely self-centered consciousness and do not want to take any responsibility.
Every day is a good day
Screw one thing up.
A miserable life is not a pity
I don't care who dies.
His three views are not what is generally considered to be incorrect, and he has a tendency to want everyone to be unlucky and die together.
But he knew very well what he should do and what emotion he should have at a certain moment; but his heart was the opposite, so he was very torn, and his words and thoughts and specific actions were completely different.
He's a particularly egocentric person. If no one's leading him, he'll actively mess things up. He has a natural tendency to get satisfaction from messing things up, even at the cost of his life. He's extremely self-centered and selfish.
At the beginning of the story, he saw the Qingcheng Sect bragging in the tavern and started scolding and fighting without provoking them.
After leaving Shaolin Temple, this guy inexplicably went to rescue Xiang Wentian and killed a large group of upright disciples.
Ning Zhongze said that she simply couldn't understand why you suddenly intervened to save Xiang Wentian, argued with the martial artists who besieged Xiang Wentian, and killed a lot of people. What was your purpose?
It should be like this, he first thought that I'm going to die anyway, so why not let them chop me to death; then someone came to chop him, and he said, "How dare you chop me," and stabbed the other person backhanded.
In short, I'm deliberately provoking you and arguing with you. If you can't kill me, I'll kill you...
Looking at his psychological description from a God's perspective, we all feel that he is unreasonable. The only explanation is that before he died, he wanted to experience the ultimate pleasure by killing countless people, but his education did not allow him to do so. So, he deliberately provoked others and let them kill him first, so that he had a reasonable reason to fight back.
It's basically what I said just now, if he wants to die, he has to drag a lot of people to die with him. The education he received in his childhood made him embarrassed to express this idea, so he did something extremely weird like saving Xiang Wentian.
He was basically a desperate murderer and psychopath, but he happened to be a master of martial arts, so a lot of people died.
This guy just has a particularly strong desire to suck. Without anyone to lead him, he unconsciously provokes and destroys things everywhere, as if he has been possessed by another spirit. But he has very high martial arts skills, he is a combination of Niu Er and the Hulk.
In reality, his life was all about being free and unrestrained, and for that, he could accept any number of deaths, even those close to him. Only Ren Yingying, the Saintess of the Demon Cult, could understand this kind of person.
He completely disregarded the Huashan Sect's stance and held a meeting with a bunch of evil demons and heretics, drinking and kowtowing.
When he arrived at the faction merger meeting, he completely disregarded the overall situation and allowed Yue Lingshan to stab him for no apparent reason.
His personality was like that of the most aggressive, trouble-making, brainless, and reckless street thugs among those teenagers who never went to school. But the problem was, he was already twenty-five or twenty-six.
Moreover, this guy has basically no sense of right and wrong. He just looks at whether others praise him or have the same temper with him. If they do, he thinks the other person is a hero.
Then, if you get carried away, you might be used as a tool by the other party.
A bunch of gangsters including the man-eating black and white bear praised him. Any normal person would know that there must be something fishy going on when these people they don't know praise them so crazily.
If you were sick and a bunch of gangsters, drug lords, and terrorists you didn't know came to see you for no apparent reason and flattered you, would you think there was something fishy going on, or would you feel incredibly moved? But he was so moved that he drank and kowtowed to them on the spot;
Xiang Wentian killed innocent passersby in front of him, and he thought Xiang Wentian was a great hero;
Ren Woxing forced Huang Zhonggong to death in front of him and forced others to take poison. He thought Ren Woxing was a great hero.
Being used as a pawn by Xiang Wentian, he was imprisoned for more than two months and nearly died there.
After he was released, Xiang Wentian and Ren Woxing praised him, and he continued to treat Ren Woxing and Xiang Wentian as brothers. He felt that although Ren Woxing was too cruel, people who did great things could not be held to the moral standards of ordinary people. Later, he continued to serve as Ren Woxing's pawn to kill Dongfang Bubai.
He was used as a pawn by Fang Zheng and Chongxu to confront Zuo Lengchan, and then was stabbed by Yue Lingshan at will.
I just said that his personality is like those teenage, never-schooled, most aggressive, most trouble-making, most brainless, and most reckless street thugs. And if you drink with him and flatter him a few times, he will kill for you.
They are very selfish towards those close to them, and don't care about their life or death or their position.
He is a cold and extremely selfish person by nature. He doesn't care about the life and death of others and especially likes to drag others to die with him.
But he was instilled with a lot of "chivalry" and "ethics" in his childhood, so his behavior is particularly contradictory.
Li Weidong is extremely disgusted with such people. As for the other characters, Master's Wife Ning Zhongze, although she has some minor flaws, she is still a model of a good wife and mother. As for her daughter Yue Lingshan, she is a child at heart, a flower in a greenhouse.
Yue Lingshan is Linghu Chong's younger sister and the youngest of his fellow Huashan disciples. All of her senior brothers gave in to her, and her parents doted on her. On Huashan, Yue Lingshan was practically pampered. If she made any mistakes, she'd just grimace and stick out her tongue, and everything would be alright. Therefore, Yue Lingshan never grew up, or rather, grew up in a honeypot. Yue Lingshan is the only daughter of Yue Buqun and Ning Zhongze, the leaders of the Huashan Sect. She grew up as childhood sweethearts with her senior brother, Linghu Chong, and co-created the Chongling Swordsmanship with him. Yue Buqun gifted his beloved daughter the Bishui Sword on her eighteenth birthday, but a jealous Linghu Chong later accidentally knocked the sword into the abyss. Yue Lingshan fell in love with her junior brother, Lin Pingzhi, leaving Linghu Chong heartbroken but helpless.
Yue Lingshan was born and raised in happiness, and matured in suffering. Before her death, the tragic Yue Lingshan begged Linghu Chong not to kill Lin Pingzhi.
As for Lin Pingzhi, at the beginning, as the young master of the Lin family of Fuwei Escort Agency, although Lin Pingzhi had poor martial arts skills and little knowledge, he would help others when he saw injustice, and his sense of justice was obvious.
Lin Pingzhi and his escorts returned from hunting and encountered disciples of the Qingcheng Sect bullying the owner's "granddaughter" in a roadside hotel. He angrily took action and saved Yue Lingshan.
Because of this incident, the Lin family was exterminated and Yu Canghai launched a bloody massacre against the Fuwei Escort Agency. However, Lin Pingzhi's chivalrous heart is beyond reproach.
If we say that Lin Pingzhi accidentally killed Yu Renyan, there was an element of showing off when he did it, but his rescue of Linghu Chong from Yu Canghai by accusing him of "bullying the weak with the big, how shameless" was a real sense of justice and an upright behavior.
At that time, Lin Pingzhi was unable to take care of himself and was brave enough to save others, which was very rare.
After the death of his parents, Lin Pingzhi was hunted by the Qingcheng Sect and forced to become a disciple by the sinister and vicious Mu Gaofeng. Finally, he became a disciple of the gentleman swordsman Yue Buqun, who was "handsome and righteous".
Who knew that Yue Buqun was actually a complete hypocrite!
After Linghu Chong obtained the cassock containing the manual of the Sword of Exorcism, he fainted at the door and the cassock was taken away by Yue Buqun.
After Yue Buqun got the Manual of the Sword of Exorcism, he was afraid that others would know that he had swallowed up the Lin family's things, so he tore off his hypocritical mask and the first thing he did was to kill Lin Pingzhi.
Lin Pingzhi was stabbed in the back by Yue Buqun. Although he saved his life by faking his death, this sword from Yue Buqun became a watershed in Lin Pingzhi's character transformation.
From then on, the simple and upright Lin Pingzhi quickly matured and became scheming in order to protect himself and for revenge.
Lin Pingzhi gave up his illusions and relied on himself for everything. Every night, he would lie outside Yue Buqun's window, eavesdropping on his actions. Finally, he obtained the Sword Manual of Exorcism.
He used Yue Lingshan as a barrier to protect himself and not give Yue Buqun the opportunity to assassinate him.
He did not hesitate to castrate himself to avoid Yue Buqun's eyes and ears, and mastered the family's unique sword technique of Exorcism.
He personally killed his enemies Yu Canghai and Mu Gaofeng, avenging his blood feud.
Lin Pingzhi was blinded by the poison on Mu Gaofeng's hunchback. This was the price he paid for revenge. Let's not talk about it.
However, under the influence of the hypocritical Yue Buqun, Lin Pingzhi quickly became scheming. After he became blind, he was seduced by Lao Denuo and got together with the villain Zuo Lengchan, which made his eyes and heart even blinder.
Lin Pingzhi knew that his wife Yue Lingshan was innocent, but he still killed her with his own hands in a cruel manner.
Lin Pingzhi and Zuo Lengchan gathered a group of blind men and slaughtered the people of the Five Mountains Sword Sect in the back cave of Huashan, almost killing and injuring all the disciples of the Five Mountains Sword Sect.
What Lin Pingzhi did was of no benefit to himself, it was a bloody massacre inhumanely.
Later, Lin Ping was imprisoned by Linghu Chong in the dungeon of Meizhuang on Gushan Mountain in West Lake, where he spent the rest of his life in a dark environment.
Lin Pingzhi's experiences since the death of his parents, including his time in the Huashan Sect, were undoubtedly pitiful and unfortunate, except for the warmth Yue Lingshan gave him. However, his subsequent murder of his wife and the senseless slaughter of innocent people were undoubtedly hateful.
There are many good characters in The Smiling, Proud Wanderer. Li Weidong was most impressed by Yi Lin. She was innocent, pure, and kind. Initially abducted by the flower-stealing thief Tian Boguang, Linghu Chong risked his life to save her, leaving Yi Lin grateful and falling in love with him. She was naturally pure, like a glass of clear water. Unfortunately, Yi Lin became a nun, leaving her with no other options but to confide her troubles to a mute woman, seeking some solace.
She firmly believed that Guanyin Bodhisattva would bless and help her, and this kind wish was heartbreaking. When the mute woman wanted to help her marry Linghu Chong, she said that when a person truly loves another person, they will not think of the second person. She only wanted Linghu Chong to be happy, and nothing else.
This is just The Smiling, Proud Wanderer, which is just a low-level martial arts world. If it were a high-level martial arts world or even a world of cultivating immortals, Li Weidong believed that the simple Yi Lin would definitely achieve something.
There are many beautiful girls in the world, but finding one more lovable than Yilin is undoubtedly difficult. She is innocent and pure-hearted, unconcealed. Most uniquely, she maintains a clear sense of right and wrong, unwavering even in the face of danger and suffering. It is this faith that enables Yilin to turn danger into fortune. Her devotion to the Dharma comes from within, naturally, and without affectation. If she were to cultivate Buddhist techniques in the world of immortal cultivation, she would undoubtedly achieve far greater speed and power than ordinary people. She is a natural born Buddhist.
Li Weidong even wanted to wait until she immigrated into the small world and then tailor a set of Buddhist exercises specifically for her to practice.
