Chapter 361 The Progenitor of the Vampire Clan and the Great Wizard

Chapter 361 The Progenitor of the Vampire Clan and the Great Wizard

The Northern Continent. The Royal Court.

The young Queen Jessica Frank dismissed all her servants and went alone to the magic tower of the wizarding temple.

The long black dress flowed like night mist in the dimly lit corridor, the gold thread embroidery on the hem gleaming coldly in the candlelight.

The high heels clicked crisply on the ancient stone steps, each step like an echo in time.

The walls of the spiral staircase are inlaid with reliefs of wizards from past generations, their eyes seemingly turning slowly with her steps, silently watching Jessica Frank.

As she pushed open the golden door engraved with runes, a gust of wind carrying the scents of ancient parchment, sandalwood, and cold blood rushed towards her.

The interior of the magic tower has a circular dome structure, with countless suspended crystal balls emitting a ghostly blue light in the darkness, like frozen stars.

The great wizard stood beside the central astrolabe, her long, silvery hair cascading down like a waterfall. One of her eyes was amber, while the other was an eerie amethyst color. She slowly turned toward Jessica.

Her face was stunningly beautiful, and her neck was covered with silver runes that seemed to wriggle slightly as if they were alive.

"The Great Wizard Marian."

Beside her, six vampires and a witch sat on high-backed chairs carved from obsidian.

They were dressed in luxurious clothes, their faces were so perfect they were almost unreal, their skin was as pale as the moonlight on a winter night, and their eyes burned with an eternal flame of life.

On the far left is a black-haired man wearing a dark red suit with a teardrop-shaped gem on his collar, his slender fingers gently tapping the back of the chair.

"Duke Claudius".

Beside him stood a silver-haired woman, her dress flowing like mercury, rising and falling slightly with her breath. Her pupils were a rare pale purple, her gaze cold and deep, and she toyed with a pocket watch inlaid with a black pearl, the cover clicking softly as it opened and closed.

"Marquis Alex".

The third was a black-haired young vampire who tilted his head, scrutinizing Jessica with interest, his scarlet tongue slowly licking his sharp teeth. His black tailcoat was embroidered with dark gold thorn patterns, which shimmered faintly in the candlelight.

"Marquis William".

The fourth woman was reclining languidly in her chair. Her red dress resembled congealed blood, and her long hair was as black as night, adorned with tiny diamonds like a galaxy. Her nails were painted with dark red nail polish, and she was casually curling a strand of hair.

Mrs. Milos.

The fifth man was a tall, stern-faced man in a pure black suit, adorned only with a silver rose brooch at his lapel. His eyes were sharp as knives as he silently gazed at Jessica, as if he could see right through her.

"Count Sidde".

The sixth was a petite girl dressed in a Gothic lace dress. Her pale face was as delicate as a porcelain doll, and she held a black cat in her arms. Her eyes were large and empty, but she had an innocent smile on her lips. Her fingertips gently stroked the black cat's back, and the cat's pupils contracted into thin lines in the darkness.

"Countess Daly".

The most out of place among them was the last witch, with blonde hair, blue eyes, gold-rimmed glasses, and a pristine white robe. Although she was also very beautiful, her skin was fair and healthy.

"Good evening, witch Fia."

Jessica Frank took her seat.

The others also stood up and greeted her.

"Your Majesty, good evening. May the God Dani be with us, and may the glory of the God Dani shine upon the earth."

"Praise be to the god Dani."

Jessica Frank said.

"Praise be to the god Dani."

The high wizard addressed the crowd.

"Have you decided to personally lead the troops into battle?"

The great wizard spoke slowly, his voice hoarse as the wind blowing through withered bones.

"Yes, as a chosen one of the gods of Dani, I must uncover the secrets of the rift. Perhaps I can find a way to save the god of Dani from that lost civilization. Are you willing to help me?"

Jessica Frank looked around at the people at the round table.

"The God Dani is the creator of all vampires and the true god we follow. If we can resurrect Him, we are certainly willing to help you."

"That's what the black-haired Marquis William said."

"It's a pity that Constantine remained hidden in the Southern Continent, only to be killed by Lyon Moria in the end, without bringing us any useful information. He was truly a complete traitor."

Marquis Alex, with her silver hair, sneered. In her eyes, everything Constantine had done in the Southern Continent was a joke.

“Constantine is our brother, and we must avenge him. Lyon Moria must die.”

"That's what Earl Sid said with a calm expression."

“Sid, he’s just a traitor. He no longer believes in the great Dani; he believes in the despicable Tiger.”

Marquis Alex glanced at her brother, Earl Sid.

“Even if he is a traitor, he should only be executed by our founding family, not by an outsider. He should not live.”

"Count Sid said coldly."

"He's just an illegitimate child. Do you really consider Constantine your brother?"

"While petting a cat, Countess Daly, petite and exquisitely doll-like, casually remarked."

“Dalie, you are not allowed to talk about your brother like that.”

"This is what Duke Claudius said, dressed in a deep red suit."

"I'm sorry, father."

Countess Daly lowered her head and spoke like a child who had done something wrong.

"Yes, that was your father and Mrs. Milos's only child. Mrs. Milos brought him to the Southern Continent to escape the cruel game between you. You are also half responsible for his death, so don't talk about his status as an illegitimate child behind his back."

The great wizard Marianne spoke calmly, glancing casually at the alluring Mrs. Milos.

Duke Claudius grasped Marianne's hand. "Marianne, you know I will always be loyal to you. Milos and I are a thing of the past."

"Yes, you always cursed each of my husbands, making them not live past my wedding night, making me the most famous widow in the Southern Continent. Now my only child is dead, yet you are still so petty. I really don't know why I became your friend in the first place."

Milos said with dissatisfaction.

She had long since lost all affection for Duke Claudius, but she harbored deep resentment towards the great sorceress Mary.

If it weren't for Jessica Frank, the chosen one of the gods of Dani, summoning all the progenitors under the pretext of resurrecting Dani, she would never have wanted to attend this family meeting of the progenitors.

Of course, compared to Milos, there is an even more striking person, and that is the witch Fia.

After Fia escaped with all the wise men from the Institute of Wise Men, she unexpectedly discovered that the wise men were actually traitors who had defected to the stars. This group of traitors came to the Northern Continent and instigated Jessica Frank to wage war against Lyon Moria, but Jessica Frank sent them to the gallows.

Apart from Fia, all the other wise men were burned to death by Jessica Frank.

Fia, the only witch who did not believe in the stars but retained all the wisdom and information of the sages, was left behind and entrusted with an important task.

Even the great wizard Marian thought highly of Fia, believing that she was the one who could inherit her wizarding mantle.

It seems that Fia is highly valued, as she is even allowed to participate in such a secret meeting.

But Jessica Frank dared to do this entirely out of her trust in the High Priestess Marian. Marian had placed a curse on Fia that could monitor her mind at any time, and if she ever tried to do anything against Jessica Frank and the God of Dani, Fia would be cursed to death.

Therefore, during this period, Fia did not dare to use the crystal to contact the witches, nor was she able to attend the witch meeting.

If Fia wants to survive, she must now obediently act as an encyclopedia.

But Fia can still continue her studies; the great wizard Marian can teach her a great deal of knowledge, including how to create vampires.

Furthermore, Fia was also very interested in studying the cracks.

The petty-minded high priestess Marian gave Mrs. Milos a cold look. "I turned you into a vampire so that you would suffer loneliness forever."

"A vicious woman."

Mrs. Milos, with a strand of hair curled up, languidly curled up in the chair.

Whenever they saw her like this, Duke Claudius and his sons would be inexplicably drawn to her.

But they all knew how petty their wives/mothers were, and they dared not become Milos's husbands or lovers, for they would be cursed to death.

Jessica Frank looked around and suddenly spoke.
“My time is precious. Don’t discuss your family matters in public like this. I have no interest in Constantine, nor in the love affair between the Duke and Mrs. Milos. I just want to know how you can help me take over the Southern Continent.”

Fia knew that Jessica Frank not only wanted to take ownership of the Rift, but also to spread Dani's faith to the Southern Continent.

The unification of the North and South continents was the most direct approach Jessica Frank could think of.

"Army, equipment, weapons, wealth—whatever you want, I can give you."

Mrs. Milos said in a languid tone.

“Lyon Moria has driven my army back to the canyon in just a few hours. He has dragons, witches, and puppets.”

Jessica Frank did not seem satisfied with the resources provided by Mrs. Milos.

She wanted a powerful vampire army, an army capable of standing up to the witch legions and dragons.

"The followers of the God of Mohan are dragons. As long as the Ancestral Dragon Summoning is used, Lyon Moria's dragon will go out of control. I will make that black dragon lose its mind on the battlefield."

"That's what the great wizard Marian said."

“Very well, so how do I fight those witches and puppets? Their power is comparable to that of sirens.”

Jessica Frank looked at the Duke.

Duke Claudius said to his eldest son, Marquis William, "William, send your Crimson Knights to war with the Favored Ones."

"Okay, Father."

"That's what the black-haired Marquis William said."

Jessica Frank nodded in satisfaction, her gaze suddenly falling on Fia, who was listening attentively.

"Wise Witch, will you come with me to war?"

“It is my honor, Your Majesty, but I fear that seeing a familiar witch on the battlefield will disturb my mind and activate the curse of the great witch Mary within me, making it impossible for me to serve you in the future.”

Fia adjusted her glasses and said calmly.

"No, I believe you won't. You are the calmest and most rational witch I have ever met."

Jessica Frank wanted to say that Fia was an emotionless person; she was being somewhat subtle, but Fia understood.

"Yes, I am quite rational most of the time."

Fia said, "But I'm actually a distant relative of the Moria family, you know? If Lyon Moria saw me, he would definitely risk his life to save me."

Fia didn't want to go back with Li En. Although she was cursed, she could learn a lot from the great wizard Marian.

But Li En certainly wouldn't understand her; he might even feel pity for her upon seeing her and insist on taking her back with him.

If Jessica hadn't burned those wise men to death, Fia would have even wanted to explore the stars and see if gods truly existed.

"A distant relative? Not a lover?"

Mrs. Milos asked with a smile.

Fia discovers that Mrs. Milos seems to be able to see some secrets.

But she was 100% certain that she was not Lyon Moria's lover.

Even if Lyon Moria did have a memorable night with her, it was just an experiment, not a relationship.

"If you're sure he'll risk his life to save you, then I'll keep you by my side even more, as bait."

Jessica Frank said.

"Believe me, you'll regret it."

"I can't help it," Fia said helplessly.

“If you can point out his weaknesses, I might consider not letting you follow him.”

"I'm sure you're lying now; you've already made up your mind to take me with you."

"Okay, I admit it, but I still want to know his weakness. You'll tell me, won't you?"

"I had no other choice, did I?"

Fia glanced at the high priestess Marian and said slowly,

"For every question I answer, you must also answer one of my questions."

"It looks like this has turned into an interesting deal."

The vampires looked at Fia with admiration.

Aside from Mrs. Milos, Fia was the most special woman they had ever met in their long lives.

Although her appearance wasn't exactly stunning, nor did she possess the elegance of a vampire, she was unique enough to be very attractive.

Count Daly fell in love with her at first sight, but unfortunately, Fia's feelings were colder than a vampire's.

“Lion Moria, he has the legendary witch Dorothy by his side, the ice witch Sophie, and the disease witch Dora. To be precise, he has more witches by his side than you can count on one hand, and all of them are loyal to him. Just as the god Dani chose you, the god Tiger also chose him.”

Is this considered a weakness?

"This is quite useful intelligence."

"Alright, what do you want to ask the Grand Wizard?"

"Great Wizard, I want to know if it's possible for vampires to revert back to humans?"

Fia enjoys studying academic issues.

"This is irreversible; vampires cannot turn back into humans unless they travel through time and stop the ritual."

"That's what the great wizard Marian said."

Fia nodded and continued, "Lyne Moria once rode on the back of an angel and went on a date with a witch."
