Simultaneous travel: My sons all have the qualities of an emperor

Chapter 367 Only those with the right qualifications can wield a hammer (crossed out) and a cassock.
Guanyin Bodhisattva felt that other powerful forces could not bear to see Buddhism flourish, so they sent this person to obstruct and ruin her Buddhist endeavors.
However, after thinking about it for a moment, she calmed down.
The person in front of me should be someone that other major forces have brought to the forefront, but to stop her from promoting Buddhism is like a mantis trying to stop a chariot!
Buddhism is destined to flourish; this is the will of Heaven, and no one can defy it.
Just like the Dragon and Phoenix Tribulation of the past, the War of the Lich Kings, and the rise of the human race, all of these were preordained.
Thinking of this, Guanyin Bodhisattva calmly looked at Gu Ming and said lightly, "You don't understand destiny, you've ruined my Buddhist work, you're stubborn and unyielding!"
"Namo Amitabha Buddha, since that's the case, I will take you to the South Sea to listen to the Buddha's voice and cleanse you of your impurities."
As she spoke, Guanyin Bodhisattva waved her hand, and a willow branch was drawn from the jade bottle, enveloping Gu Ming with golden, silver, and purple divine light.
This is the Three Lights Divine Water. Gold is the Sunlight Divine Water, which can wear down blood essence, bones and flesh; silver is the Moonlight Divine Water, which can corrode the primordial spirit and soul; and purple is the Starlight Divine Water, which can dissolve true spirit consciousness.
It was clearly just a few drops, but in the eyes of those with cultivation, those few drops of water were more vast than the East Sea and more profound than mountains. Even among all the immortals and Buddhas in the world, few dared to directly receive the Three Lights Divine Water.
The fact that Guanyin Bodhisattva used the Three Lights Divine Water was precisely because she valued Gu Ming, since she couldn't even see through Gu Ming's true nature.
At this moment, in the Golden Palace of the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin, sat on the dragon throne, gazing intently at Guanyin displaying her divine power. His face showed neither sorrow nor joy, and it was impossible to discern his true emotions.
"Immortals and Buddhas~ Hah."
The current ruler of the world sneered inwardly, but then he couldn't help but purse his lips. This was the territory of the Great Tang Dynasty, under the emperor's feet, and no one could disregard the law and make a move.
Anyone who makes a move will be punished, but Li Shimin knew that this was unrealistic, because the other party was not human, but a deity or Buddha!
"What a pity. I don't know who that person is, but having offended this Buddhist monk, there are probably few who can get away with it even if you search the entire Three Realms and Six Paths."
Just as Li Shimin was thinking this, he suddenly heard a cat meow.
"Meow~!"
Aside from Gu Ming himself, who cannot travel through time, the other items and people in the chat group can.
And that meow was none other than Tom the cat that Gu Ming had acquired from Journey to the West. Gu Ming had been petting this cat in various worlds, and now it was his turn. He decided to let Tom do some work.
Then Gu Ming, facing the renowned Three Lights Divine Water of the Three Realms, simply smiled, his eyes filled with a playful intent. He then took out a cat from his pocket and held it up in front of him.
Tom, looking around at everyone dressed in long robes and the ancient-style buildings nearby, was no longer surprised. It was just time travel; no big deal. He had time-traveled countless times before.
"Tom, come on, have some mango pomelo sago."
Upon hearing this, Tom's eyes lit up, and he looked around as if asking where the mango pomelo sago was.
Seeing this, Gu Ming held the cat's head with both hands, making him look directly at the sky: "Look, those are the three colors. This is the top-of-the-line version of mango pomelo sago. Go and drink it."
As soon as he finished speaking, the innocent Tom immediately started drooling, and even pulled a straw out of Gu Ming's arms and jumped out.
Guanyin Bodhisattva was taken aback. Where did this cat come from? And was this cat stupid? It actually rushed straight towards the Three Lights Divine Water!
Guanyin Bodhisattva is not one to disregard the lives of living beings. This Three Lights Divine Water is only aimed at Gu Ming. Immediately, with a thought, the golden, silver, and purple divine light twirled in the air, trying to avoid the cat and rush towards Gu Ming.
But a strange thing happened. The cat that had jumped up saw that the Three Lights Divine Water was going to avoid it, and immediately got anxious. It raised its paws and placed them on its waist and abdomen, as if it was about to start running.
Then I actually started running in the air, and even though I was clearly stepping on air, why was there dust coming up everywhere!
Even Guanyin Bodhisattva, with her profound knowledge, was at a loss for words. The cat exuded strangeness, revealing no supernatural powers or demonic energy, yet it could levitate and run.
huh~
Then the cat ran so fast that its legs seemed to turn into wheels of fire, and it even caught up with the Three Lights Divine Water. Then it took the Light Absorber, put it in the Three Lights Divine Water, pursed its little mouth, and sucked it in.
"Meow~!"
Tom's eyes first showed confusion, as this didn't taste like mango pomelo sago, but then a satisfied expression appeared on his face. This was much better than mango pomelo sago.
With a gurgling sound, Tom swallowed the Three-Colored Divine Water, which everyone in the Three Realms feared and avoided at all costs.
"Hey, Tom, watch your feet."
After Tom had eaten and drunk his fill, he suddenly heard Gu Ming shouting. He looked down unconsciously and saw that his feet were dangling in the air. Before he knew it, he had run so high.
Then, with a thoughtful expression, he thought, "Oh, I remember now, I'm a cat, and cats can't fly, so I'm going to fall and die."
Having figured this out, Tom clapped his hands in sudden realization, then shrugged slightly, indicating that he had accepted his fate and didn't care what happened. In a flash, the cat transformed into a shooting star and crashed to the ground.
Seeing this, Gu Ming stood still and opened his arms. This silly cat, with him around, how could he possibly let Tom really fall and hurt himself, even though Tom was immortal.
Biu~
Then Tom, falling from the sky, landed precisely on Gu Ming's arm.
Afterwards, Gu Ming fell into deep thought. He had caught the good news, but only partially caught the bad news.
Gu Ming caught the cat's arms and legs, but the cat's body collapsed in an almost concave shape, creating a deep crater in the ground. As for how many hundreds of meters deep that crater was, that was anyone's guess.
The passersby stared in astonishment at this sight, and Gu Ming laughed unkindly. Only Guanyin Bodhisattva remained stern-faced.
Moreover, this one of the three Western Saints was now experiencing tremendous turmoil in his heart. This Three Lights Divine Water was refined by a saint and possessed boundless power.
Don't underestimate the Three Lights Divine Water just because there are only a few drops. It is indeed like the Nine Heavens Breath Soil, constantly growing and almost inexhaustible. It is no joke to say that it is comparable to the Four Seas. But now it has been eaten by a cat!
This cat is truly amazing; even a great sage of the demon race could not compare!
Thinking of this, Guanyin Bodhisattva's heart was filled with apprehension towards Gu Ming, and her originally calm and infinitely compassionate eyes were filled with complex emotions.
As Gu Ming pulled Tom out of the water, he looked at Guanyin Bodhisattva with a mocking expression and said:
"It turns out that Buddhists can not only go back on their word, but also fight each other because of their own preferences. Luckily, I am a blessed person, otherwise I would be in big trouble today."
Guanyin Bodhisattva failed to succeed in her first move and did not test Gu Ming's strength. Considering that this was Chang'an, a place where humanity was thriving, she knew that even if she captured Gu Ming, rumors and gossip would inevitably circulate.
She uttered a Buddhist chant, "Namo Amitabha Buddha. The robe and staff are related to all living beings. The so-called seven thousand taels of silver is just a joke. Please go ahead and tell them."
For the sake of the common people, what does it matter if I bear some infamy?
Gu Ming gasped. The Western Buddhist sect really had a way of making sense no matter what they said. After their whole argument, they made it seem like he was in the wrong.
He then chuckled and said, "I told you you can't take this robe and staff away today." Guanyin Bodhisattva ignored him and turned to leave. The great calamity of the Journey to the West was about to unfold, and she still needed to report the matter to the Buddha so that he could make a decision.
As for the fact that she couldn't take the robe and staff with her, she treated it as a joke. Now that these things were in her hands, how could she not take them with her?
Just then, as Guanyin Bodhisattva turned around, three objects suddenly fell from the sky: a cassock, a staff, and a golden headband that had never been shown to anyone before.
boom!
The staff suddenly fell to the ground, creating a large crater. The cassock draped over the staff, and then a golden hoop was placed over it.
Guanyin Bodhisattva suddenly turned around, looking at the scene in disbelief. How could this be? How did the other party take it? Why did she not sense anything?
Immediately, Guanyin Bodhisattva flew down to take away the Buddhist treasure. If it were forcibly left here, it would be a huge joke.
Gu Ming then walked up to the staff and solemnly said to it, "Only those with the necessary qualifications can wield this staff."
As soon as he finished speaking, Gu Ming turned into a wisp of smoke and disappeared into the world.
Guanyin Bodhisattva looked at Gu Ming, who had disappeared, her eyes filled with apprehension and confusion. What was going on? He had been toyed with for no reason, and then left just as inexplicably.
He clearly had the ability to take the robe and staff without anyone noticing, but he simply let them fall to the ground, muttered some incomprehensible words, and left.
The idea that only qualified individuals can wield such a weapon is a joke. She is one of the three saints of Buddhism, and in the entire world, apart from the Buddha himself, no one is more qualified than her.
However, out of fear of Gu Ming, Guanyin Bodhisattva did not act rashly, but secretly used her magic power to move the staff. Fortunately, she did not encounter any obstacles during the process.
Unfortunately, despite her immense magical power, enough to move mountains and seas, she was completely powerless against the tin staff nailed to the ground.
Guanyin Bodhisattva felt a chill in her heart, and her eyes showed embarrassment. She then flicked her sleeve and left, disappearing from sight.
At this moment, pedestrians on both sides marveled, all thinking that today's encounter was extraordinary and determined to make it something to brag about in the future.
Of course, there were also some bold people who thought that since Guanyin Bodhisattva couldn't take it away, then maybe what that person said was true.
Anyone who is qualified can wield this staff, so wouldn't they be considered qualified people?
In no time, long queues formed on Chang'an Street, with people eager to try it out.
Meanwhile, Li Shimin, sitting in the Golden Palace, had a burning gaze on that person. Just who was this deity who could make Guanyin Bodhisattva suffer a setback?
If he could get this person's help, wouldn't that be...?
As the great calamity of the Journey to the West approaches, the actions of all important Buddhist figures are being observed by powerful beings throughout the world.
After all, although it is ordained by Heaven that Buddhism should flourish, if used properly, they may still be able to get a share of the benefits and gain some merit.
In the Heavenly Court, there are the Eyes of a Thousand Miles and the Ears of the Wind. Of course, these are just titles. With the help of their divine positions and their own innate supernatural abilities, they can not only travel a thousand miles with the wind, but they can also see the eight directions of heaven and earth and hear the eight wastelands and six directions.
"Your Majesty, Guanyin Bodhisattva has gone to Chang'an, but... things are not going well."
The all-seeing eye spoke thus to the Jade Emperor, who sat high in the heavens.
"Oh?"
A supreme and noble voice, exuding boundless majesty, rang out, seemingly expressing doubt. However, the person with keen hearing sensed a hint of schadenfreude in the voice.
Immediately, the two divine generals, Thousand-Mile Eyes and Wind-Following Ears, recounted everything about Guanyin Bodhisattva's trip to Chang'an.
Beneath the imperial crown and celestial curtain, the Jade Emperor's thoughts stirred slightly. He found it both amusing that Buddhism had lost face and puzzled as to when such a powerful being had appeared in the world.
Without making a sound, Guanyin lost face, and even her high monk's attire was left on the streets of Chang'an.
Then the Jade Emperor silently recited in his heart:
"Only those with the necessary qualifications can wield this staff. Guanyin did not take it with her, so she must be powerless to help. If someone from our Heavenly Court were to pick up this staff and use it as leverage, wouldn't we be able to extract even more benefits during our journey to the West?"
As the supreme leader of Heaven and Earth, the Jade Emperor fully understands the inviolability of the will of Heaven, and therefore believes that the journey to the West will continue.
Therefore, they did not intend to engage in too many underhanded tactics, lest they suffer losses instead. However, increasing the Heavenly Court's influence in the Journey to the West was a great thing.
"Someone, summon the Giant Spirit God."
Then a huge and powerful deity entered the hall and bowed respectfully.
After asking the Jade Emperor for his instructions, the giant god confidently declared, "Your Majesty, rest assured, it's just a staff. With my divine strength, taking it is as easy as turning my hand."
However, the Jade Emperor later felt it was not safe, as everything in the world has its own way of counteracting each other, and one cannot rely solely on a giant spirit god.
Then he said, "My dear ministers, if you are interested, you may try. If you can bring it back to the Heavenly Court, I will reward you handsomely!"
As a result, all the gods in the court felt eager to try their luck.
That night, a large number of deities descended to the human world to retrieve the Buddha's treasure.
······
In the Western Paradise, amidst a golden glow, stands a magnificent temple with four characters inscribed on its plaque: Great Thunderclap Temple!
This place is the most magnificent place in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, and it is also the highest holy place in the hearts of Buddhist disciples all over the world.
Inside the temple, thunderous sounds resonated, cleansing the soul; it was the Buddha preaching.
Then a ray of light flew in from the horizon, and it was Guanyin Bodhisattva. She uttered a Buddhist chant and said, "Buddha, this humble monk is incompetent, and the journey to the West has taken an unexpected turn."
The Buddha stopped reciting the scriptures, his eyes, like the sun, looked at Guanyin Bodhisattva. He did not ask any questions, but simply calculated with his fingers.
Then Buddha's eyebrows twitched, and he was slightly surprised. Hmm, very good, he didn't figure anything out.
"But it doesn't matter."
The Buddha forcibly suppressed his shock. There were few things in the world that he couldn't foresee, but the matter was happening right before his eyes, leaving him no choice but to ask Guanyin.
After Guanyin explained the whole story, Buddha remained silent, thinking to himself how strange it was that Guanyin was one of the most powerful and influential people in Buddhism, yet she had been tricked without making a sound.
After a long pause, the Buddha said calmly, "Don't worry, it's a small matter. Your robe and staff will return on their own."
Guanyin Bodhisattva looked on with reverence, thinking to herself that the Buddha was indeed the Buddha; what was a thorny issue in her eyes was nothing more than a trivial matter in the Buddha's eyes.
That very night, the Buddha transformed into a different form and arrived in Chang'an. How could his robe and staff have returned on their own? So he decided to retrieve them himself.
