Chapter 515 The Real Demonstration

Aaron and Howard Stringer clinked glasses. "Welcome, Mr. Stringer, to the Hollywood family!"

Howard Stringer smiled and said, "I'm actually an outsider to Hollywood; I don't know much about the production aspects of the film industry."

Sony has been consistently losing money in the Hollywood film industry, and it's unclear how many more years it can hold on.
The Men in Black series and the Spider-Man series were both snatched away; Sony doesn't have any strong IPs right now.

"In terms of awards, it swept the Oscars. James Cameron's film is simply incomprehensible?"

That's true. Even Leonardo DiCaprio's "The Man in the Iron Mask" earned $5600 million in North America and $1.8 million worldwide!
"So, any new projects you'd like to get involved in lately?"

Aaron put his arm around the woman and asked.

"Yes, a screenplay adapted from Jeffrey Deaver's crime novel of the same name, *The Bone Collector*, published last year."

"Work with Denzel Washington!"

Jennifer Connelly is very much looking forward to working with such a talented and accomplished actor.

"Denzel Washington? His acting is indeed quite good." However, for Aaron, Denzel Washington's box office appeal is too weak; his films generally don't achieve great commercial success.

Moreover, Denzel Washington releases two to three films every year. This year, Denzel Washington has already released Warner Bros.' thriller "Sense of Death" and Disney's Touchstone production "He Got to Win".

The next day, Aaron drove to Chinatown in Los Angeles and saw a procession of Chinese people heading towards the city center!

Around noon, Aaron arrived near the Indonesian Consulate General in Los Angeles and saw a large number of Chinese people demonstrating and protesting at the entrance.

The Chinese community in Los Angeles even established a special organization called the "Rescue Indonesian Human Rights Committee"!

Aaron stared at the Indonesian consulate and the demonstrators at the entrance, then took out his phone and made a call.

More than an hour later, a group of people arrived, including white people, black people, and Mexicans, who excitedly joined the Chinese demonstrators!

They also shouted slogans such as "executioner," "butcher," "crimes against humanity," "regression of civilization," and "shame of the world."
As tensions escalated, the group began storming the Indonesian Consulate General, confronting the military and police inside through the iron gates, and started throwing Molotov cocktails at the consulate...

"That's more like it! That's what a demonstration should be!"

Aaron, watching from a distance, lit a cigarette and observed the increasingly heated demonstration until nearby police arrived and stopped the situation from escalating further.

Following the attack on the Indonesian Consulate General in Los Angeles, demonstrations and marches by Chinese communities broke out in other U.S. cities to protest the actions of the Indonesian government.
Moreover, in the following week, the Indonesian Consulate General in San Francisco, the Indonesian Consulate General in Chicago, the Indonesian Consulate General in Houston, the Indonesian Consulate General in New York, and even the Indonesian Embassy in Washington were all attacked!
Aaron also anonymously donated $100 million to the Southern California-based “Rescue Indonesia Human Rights Commission”.

The Indonesian consulates general in Los Angeles and Houston are the most threatened because Aaron has enough influence in those two cities!
In Los Angeles, in particular, under Aaron's covert instigation, a group of lower-class people, led by Black and Mexican individuals, robbed and vandalized more than a dozen Indonesian-owned stores, resulting in three deaths.

At Bel Air Estate, Aaron sat on the sofa watching the military police stationed outside the Indonesian Consulate General in Los Angeles on television, and sighed, "Things can only go this far!"

This week, the Los Angeles Police Department has arrested a number of Black and Mexican robbers.

"It would be great if we could find a white person's consulate in Indonesia and protest by self-immolation, what a pity!"
